Hi Spymate It seems that after the texture change, some cells has been locked accidentally. I will make sure to have them unlocked in the next version. Thanks for letting me know.

Hello Dedaf,
I just started using your program today and it seems like I'm getting the same problem Save Sex is having. I enter my API info and nothing shows up on the character name box.
I've tried many new API keys and still doesn't work. |

I've tried many new API keys and still doesn't work. I have no idea why it wouldnt work for you. But i have noted ones, that when copying the APIkey, it added a " " space in front of the key. So please check if that is happening to you. Make sure you are 100% sure you only mark the ApiKey.
Otherwise, like i told Save Sex, contact me in game, and lets see what we can find. Want to know what-áis best to-ámine or build at which cost? then try out Dedaf's Industrial Tool: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=8074&find=unread |

So my API problem has been solved.
this is for anyone who tries to enable macros and receives a message...
The visual basic for applications (VBA) macros for this workbook are corrupted and has been deleted. The macros corruption most likely exists in the current file. To recover the macros, open up a backup copy of this file if you have one.
The problem turned out to be that VBA was not enabled during the original installation of Office/Excel. Afer modifying the Office/Excel installation with Add/Remove Programs and enabling VBA, it worked great. |

Hi Dedaf. I seem to be getting the following message whenever I try do a VBA call by hitting "Update Everything" or "Check Server"
Quote:Run-time error '-2147217376 (80041020)':
XML parse Error"
Running Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013
Tried disabling/re-enabling the VBA option in Add/Remove programs as suggested above however that didn't solve the issue. A fresh installation of Office hasn't helped either. Version 15.3.8 of the spreadsheet =)

I'm Afraid i can't help you much here, as i do not have Office 2013. But i would find it strange if MS changed the VBA so much from 2010 to 2013 that older applications couldn't run.
When ever this XML Phase error have been posted, it has always turned out to be a problem with Excel. The error have been seen if VBA is not installed during the installation of Excel, or when macros has been disabled in Excel, or if the file is stored in a place like C:\ where there are restrictions to macros. However, i have not had any feedback from anyone using Office 2013, saying that it works. So i simply have no idea if this tool runs under Office 2013.
New version has just been uploaded, together with an updated manual. Want to know what-áis best to-ámine or build at which cost? then try out Dedaf's Industrial Tool: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=8074&find=unread |

Hi DeDaf,
I first would like to say "AMAZING TOOL!" I have been using this spreadsheet with great success to build capitals and I am very impressed with it.
I would like to request an additional feature for ships, such as capitals, which require components. It would be very handy if there was some way that I could input the number of blue prints I had for a specific component, and then the spreadsheet did the math for me.
for example:
Say I need to build 100 capital armor plates
I own two capital armor plate BPOs
i put in that i own 2 of these BPOs
the spreadsheet tells me I need to build 50 capital armor plates on each BPO
or in the case of an odd number
Say I need to build 99 capital armor plates
I own two capital armor plate BPOs
I put that in that i own 2 of these BPOs
The spreadsheet tells me I need to build 55 on the first BPO and 54 on the second BPO
This is for those situations where utilizing multiple BPOs can help decrease the overall time needed for components to be built and thus finish faster and have ready for final assembly.
This could also be incorporated to be useful for other things such as T2 and Starbase assembly.
I hope you will incorporate this functionality into a near future build of the DeDaf Industrial tool.
Thank you again for all the hard work you have put in to making this tool the ultimate tool for us industrialists, Once my finances stabilize a bit more I intend to send you a nice thank you :) |

Hi Joah in each tool, you need to select which price to use, Own, Buy, Sell or Avg. In the T1 production sheet you do that in Cell I5, in the top of the sheet. Hey Dedaf,
I think there is a rounding bug in the Capital_Production sheet:
Steps to reproduce: - Set all the "To be build" to 0 - under "Construction Parts", set ML to 100 and "Build Additional" to 94. - the line now displays "Tritanium: 349'733" (which is correct) - however, on top of the sheet, "Production Need" says 32'874'895 Trit, but 94 * 349'733 = 32'874'902
I think you need to to round the mineral amount per component before multiplying by the number of runs. I am using version 15,4,9.
Keep up the good work, really love your sheet! |

I do not get the same numbers you are refering to, to me construction parts need 437166 trit. at ML 100 But i do see a rounding issue, however i need to test it with ingame values, to see which rounding calculation is correct. I should be able to have a fix for this some time over the weekend.

I just checked: This is with Production Efficency Skill at 0.
Also, i just started a Production Batch ingame, it needed 32'874'902 Tritanium. (with Production Efficency Skill at 5 and BP ML at 100) |

I have done some more tests and corrected the rounding error of the capital components. It should now fit the exact amount of minerals needed as in game.

I just happened to test for T2 Gyrostabs and it says 8 units of morphite are need for ME -4. Jitonomic says 6 units, Zofu says 6 units too, I can't check in game right now so I'm guessing it's probably a bug . Could you check that out ? Thanks for this fabulous tool ;) HI Thunder This issue should new be solved, as i have changed the calculation for the T2 items totally. As i have been doing a lot of changed, then i could have made some mistakes, so if you find any material that are not correct, then let me know. Now i can fix it really fast with the new way that it is calculated.

Hi B'atou It does count the extra material, it just doesn't show it in separate window as in some of the other tools. This will be a feature for later versions. But the material amount should be correct, i have checked it this morning. but make sure you use the latest version.

Sadly, I cannot get over the following error, which happens when I open the Excel in Office 2010 Pro Plus.
"Excel found unreadable content in 'Filenamehere'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."
If Yes -> Following error shows:
Excel was unable to open file by repairing or removing the unreadable content. Removed Part: /xl/vbaProject.bin.part. (Visual Basic for Applications (VBA))
Log is;

If I click No -> Nothing happens, Excel stays blank.
Now, when I try to update anything, Macro refuses to work, says its not available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled.
Already made sure the VBA plugin is installed via Office Suite, I have Trusted Sources set to allow all, so is ActiveX plugin allowed.
I'm opening latest File version, which is 15.6.4 via WinRar v4.20 (64bit) on a Win 7 64bit OS.
Thanks for your help. |
