Hello, great work!
Please can you add the option to view isk/hour in mine ore and ice but without refine. Some days is better sell the ore or the ice without refine.

Hi Painstouch Hawk I do not know what could be the reason for the problem you have. Have you tried the solutions described in FAQ 7 & 8 here? It is most likely some problem with your Office installation, all i can advice you to do, is to google the error you get, to see if others have the same issue.
Banjo Blanco wrote:Hello, great work!

THX To do so, i would have to import price information for all Ore types. I like to keep the tool simple looking, so i will not importing this much data just to do that calculation. The "1 Unite Price" already listed in the ore mining sheet, shows you the price that the ore have calculated on the minerals you get when refining it. So if you can sell the ore for more than the "1 Unite price", then you will make even more money than refining.
Thanks for the feedback though.
B'atou wrote:Thanks for this great tool! I have a question, when planning a t2 Ship, it seems, that the tool doesn't count the extra materials of the prophecy for the amarr commandships. I have corrected the mineral need for the prophecy in the T2 Sheet now, so you should get a more correct build price now.
New version 14.6.5

Hello, Dedaf I found a small error on a sheet "T2_Items". When calculating the required materials are not added to the amount of mexallon needed for the production of the target object.
And one more thing on the same sheet. Why is the calculation of materials for T2 components is not taken into account their BPO ML? |

A simple example. Take Inferno Fury Cruise Missile BPC (ML -4). For the production of need:
- Tritanium - 30120;
- Mexallon - 450;
- Nocxium - 105;
- Megacyte - 53;
- Morphite -15;
- R.A.M. Ammuntion Tech;
- Rocket fuel 120 + 6 extra (134 in your document, this is another error);
- Phenolic Composites - 59 (apparently they are included in the batch build price, but do not appear in the table located on top);
- Plasma Pulse Generator - 14. <- That's what I wanted them to talk.
For the production of Plasma Pulse Generator is required:
- Crystalline Carbonide - 22;
- Nanotransistors - 2;
- Phenolic Composites - 7;
But at ML15, these values GÇïGÇïare changed to 20, 2 and 6, respectively. |

Hi Mmrsshan Very well spotted! I have corrected the errors to the Phenolic Composites & Rocket fuel, in the newly uploaded version 15,6,7
Regarding the T2 Components, then they go to 20, 2 & 6 already at ML4 so it is correct that ML15 is showing what it is. Thank you for helping making the tool better.
Also in the new version 15,6,7 is an all new Gas Harvesting tool.

Liking it so far, experiencing quite a few issues though.
On the Ore sheet: Michi's Excavation Augmentor - requires Cybernetics 5 (The other Implant drop downs notify you if you do not have high enough Cybernetics skill)
On the Planetary Interaction sheet: I've selected 2 different types of fuel to be produced, the ML and the amount of days, the "Needed" field populates, however the "Missing" field does not populate for Non-CS Crystals and Ionic Solutions. There may be others, these are just the two I happen to need that are missing.
The other issues seem to have been fixed with the latest update.
Can we look at importing Character Assets via API? I know there's other software that does this, and it would take a lot of hassle out of manually entering numbers. |

Hi Cedub I have corrected the texture colure for the missing material Non-CS Crystals and Ionic Solutions. They were calculated, but was just showing in a wrong colure (same as cell background) now red. I also fixed the notification message for the michi implant, it will now tell you that you need lvl5 cybernetic. It was only a notification error, the bonus of the michi implant was not added if you had lower than lvl5 cybernetic, so it didnt effect the numbers in the mining sheet. All the corrections will be in the next version.

For those experiencing error 1004 and using Excel 2013 do not use the restore function.
When changing over to a new version, manually copy and paste ur api data. The same goes for ur various production sheets. Something in the restore borks VB scripts in 2013 and does not allow you update beyond the initial first time and comes back with an error 1004: password error

Hey dedaf, love the tool, use it almost everyday
I'm heavily involved in T1 production that i can use this sheet for, and im currently setting up a T3 production chain now
the T3 tool is pretty useful in getting an overview of the overview of the production but there is a few more systems involved obviously like gas mining and the like
Its not super relevant and i know you like to keep the sheet simple - but i noticed a section added for gas and jumped out my chair in excitement.... only to find out it was booster production - pah nullsec gas is for noobs
my point is, there's more gas then that - wheres our WH love... I use another sheet i built myself in the meantime - but would be nice to compile
i also use a simple sheet with the reverse engineering formula to work out what i should be researching right now, generally you should have max skills anyway and it only helps me as im in the middle of training... but could be an applet to add to the t3 production sheet? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjIXh1vOiIQddFFpT2NOckZXRnNEVXZsSEhUa3JPUXc#gid=0 |

When I change the material level of Large POS from zero to any number the cost to produce goes down but the materials required does not change. Manual review of the BPO's in game indeed show that the Material efficiency does nothing for these structures. I think this is a bug.
Thanks, Still a great tool.

Hi Sebastian Thanks for the bug repport, i have looked in to it, and the issue here is that my tool dont see the Capital Consruction parts as extra material, so the ME is taken in to account. I will make sure to fix this in the next release.

In the folder tab "Data" all prices are listed and there is a column for "own". Input your prices in there. You then have to select "Own" in the production tab you are working in. Click on the price column header and you will get a drop down. |

Thanks for the great looking tool, not sure if I'm being a muppet or not understanding how the T1 production tab should be working but...
I have about 0.5 million trit entered in the field at the top of the page for materials I own, plus various other materials. I have some blueprints for torpedo if I select the torpedo blueprint from the drop downs the sheet tells me I have 0 in stock and can build 54 If I then enter that I plan to build 10000 (for example), the 'materials needed' info doesn't update. I expected that section to report back how much of various materials I'd need in order to complete that job.
or am I missing something?
I'm using the latest version of the Tool (downloaded 10th Oct 2013) running Windows & with Office 2010 ProPlus
At the moment I'm having to use IskperHour to see if it would be profitable to run the job or not (it wouldn't as I'm still training PE 5)
Thanks

Hi zhoed3 I have tested it a bit, but do not see the error, it is updating fine for me. which slot are you using? when you try to build the torps, and which version of the torps are you trying to build?
i have tested in slot one and selected, Missiles - Torpedoes & inferno Torpedo If i then type in 10000 in cell E34, then the sheet shows the total needed minerals for the production, and the amount of minerals i'm missing, if any.
Hope that helps you out, otherwise, have a look at the manual
just uploaded a new version with some minor changes and error corrections. New version 15.7.2

Hey again dedaf, great to see the WH gasses added - but im not sure if you are aware, they run on a slightly different mechanic
on your spreadsheet you have fullerites listed as 10m3 each - the volumes are actually variants
C320 - 5 C50 - 1 C540 - 10 C32 - 5 C72 - 2 C28 - 2 C84 - 2 C60 - 1 C70 - 1
now watch people scream as they see the isk/hour skyrocket on C320....... |
