I may just be missing it but are certain t2 components missing? When entering in, for example, a 1mn micro warp drive II into the t2_items tab. It says blueprint not found for a lot of the components. But there does exist a blueprint |

Hi Again,
I was curious if there was a way to do a price comparison between buying ore and refining it yourself or buying the minerals straight out, as it was just pointed out to me that I could be saving some money buying the ore and refining it myself and gathering the minerals I need to build with that way instead of buying the minerals directly and I am just curious as to what I would need ore wise and how much it would cost to get the minerals to build what I am building.
and once again thank you for your hard work in making all us industrialists lives easier I know your tool has made my manufacturing jobs alot easier to prepare for.

you can see what amount of minerals you need from any of the production sheets. then if you go to the ore tab from the spreadsheet you can see what ores you need to mine and how many in order to get the mineral amounts needed.
then if you go to the ore mining sheet and fill out the amounts of ore you need to mine there. the sheet will use your skills and the settings you apply for the refining using a station. from that point you know if the value of the minerals will be more or less then the raw ore value you can look up from the market.

I created an API key, put the info into the data tab and tried updating but I cannot for the life of me get the skills to carry into the spreadsheet. I had no problem before the new API keys were introduced. Can anyone help? |

to get your character info through the new api system and into the spreadsheet you need to make use of the new api system. the old keys are dead and wont work anymore as they dont contain any info.
to get to the new api creator you need to go to this page login with you account and click on the api keys link. or just click on the button that is in the sheet not sure if that one points you in the right direction as i just grabbed mine from the link above.
on that page you need to create a new custom API key and select the options you want in it. then a key will be generated for your account or specific character.
the old api system was a userid with a api key. the new system is with a keyid and a verification code.
the new key generated will show you both that you can use.

Dedaf can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE either make the columns wider, or un protect the sheet. Once you hit a bil of anything the numbers turn to #############. I do large quantities of stuff, ie 500 maels, that means 5 bil trit, but its a pain when the numbers break. |

Hi there,
I would like to request something added to this already amazing tool. would it be possible in any given manufacturing tab ( capital building, etc,) to see the cost of the individual mineral types, IE : 12345 Megacyte costs : 12345 ISK ( with the price values indicated, buy / sell / average/own) so I can see what the most expensive part of my build is so I can see about finding a better source? this would go a long way to helping me. and I would love it if you included it in your spreadsheet.

could you also add in faction ships for manufacturing ? i don't see them in the T1 production, or are they listed under another tab? im not 100% sure i understand why you mean, each sheet already show the price of all minerals?
Regarding faction ships, they are in the T1 sheet under, Pirate ships and Navy ships.

I mean the price for each individual mineral as well as the overall total.
like for example
ship X
Tritanium = 12345 Value = 12345 Pyerite = 12345 value = 12345 etc etc
Total = 24690
this way I can see what the most expensive part of the build is and see if I can't find a better source for that specific mineral. |

I'm using your sheet now for nearly 3 years and have to state its really a great work.
BUT I'm missing one really - for me important - point:
would it be possible to add a API fetch of the actual assets and update the "in stock" values with it so that I not have to work through the whole template over and over again?
I tried this a bit by using jveassets and export them as excel and use vlookup to import the data into your sheet. It actually worked but a direct implementation would be really nice.
Anything planned about that? |

People have requested this feature with my program too but the API isn't that flexible. Assets are only refreshed every 6 hours so the usefulness of this type of feature is limited by that. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour!

its ok if the update is done once a day imo, just that I get an nearly actual status at the beginning of each day. Still helps a lot as of now I have to enter it manually or do the work around as written above...
jveassets is imo best programm for asset analyses as it is easy to use and it has a nice excel export. But this states that its possible without a big effort and a vlookup is probably the easiest part for Dedaf anyway
btw, didn't know your program yet, will have to test it. |

Found a little bug, dunno if its already been taken care of in the newest version:
Silo`s use broadcast nodes and recursive computing modules as PI components,
sheet shows it needs organic mortar applicators and recursive computing modules.
Anyways, amazing job - been using it since i found this and its been a lifesaver for a new industrialist. Thanks. |

Can I just say this is an excellent spreadsheet. Can I just back up the request for an asset update option as well to have a list of the assets that the corp has would help in the planning. Not sure how I would fit in to the spreadsheet myself , but the data would be great (e.g. upto date (within reason) records of what is in the silos and hangers with respect to overall planning.
It would be good to get the POS fuel reports cleaned up as well (not high on my list as I also use a POS tracking solution)
(This is being picky, it is a great tool, very well done)

Update: Looks like it has something to do with the macro. Permissions are on, but its blocked/broke somehow. 12.8.1 works fine so will wait till next version is out (I hates troubleshooting Excel)
Getting the same thing, except it happens when i try to update anything at all, not just character, for example mineral prices. Anyone know how to fix it? |

Is there a way to modify the names of items, specifically the missiles? I haven't seen an new version drop for this awesome spreadsheet to accommodate the changes to make the missile types have the same beginning name. It is a rather small change and would like to do it myself if that is possible.

I set my chars up in the data sheet, but then when I went to the T1 mfg sheet, once I selected a category (ships) it didn't populate a list of ships in the other section of that item.
Any idea what's going on? |

Hi guys, that for all the feedback, im sorry i have been a bit away, thats why it has been some time since last update. But now i think i have managed to correct most of the issues you have reported.
i will try to give a short answer some of the questions you have here.
Lady Vici you asked about import of station items. This i have tried to do, but its a total mess up unless you only have material in a few stations. There are so many things i need to do for it to be simple to sort trough, so i gave up on that one. Too much work for the benefit. So i agree with Zifrian that this function isn't very useful.
Human Friend I do not see the bug you report about silo's, However when i was looking in to it, i found another issue with the Silos and the PI material, so that is corrected now. Thanks.
Hellenn T1 gang modules has been moved to T2 production sheet, due to the advance material need.
solardave The material use for the "Recursive computing module" has been corrected.
Blasfemy T1 & T2 missile names has been corrected.
Arpad Elo i think you might be using a none excel version or the excel you are using are not compatible with excel 2010
bomb1911 Fuel blocks in the POS production sheet is next on my list. Ii just wanted to upload this new version now, since it has been a few month since the last one.

Are there any mac users that are using this tool?
I am using Office for Mac for 2004 and can't seem to get the sheet to work. I thought i had all the necessary converters. The buttons will not do any updating and return errors when pressed. Additionally, I cannot input my own mineral prices to get an accurate costing. It seems as if all I can do is just look at it.
Dedaf, what you've done here is magnificent at the least. I'm truly impressed with what you have put together here. Thank you for doing so, and putting it out here for all of us to use. It's an immense resource.
I just hope to get it working soon so that I can reap it's full benefits.

Thanks for the excellent tools. I have a question for you.
Would it be possible, on the ore mining tab, to add lines in the ore section. Right now, it's not possible to have a line for each type of ore available in game and since the worksheet is protected, I can't add them myself.
It's missing 6 lines in the empire ore section, 3 in the low sec ore section and 12 in the 0.0 ore section.
