Lui Kai Perkone	Posted - 2008.07.22 13:31:00 - [1] After the 5th thread about Ambulation today, I decided to throw together a quick thread that covers most the questions folks seem to be asking. Before folks jump all over me from either side - no, I don't personally care about Ambulation, but neither do I think it's a bad idea. That said: Stuff. Dev post: Ambulation will be at fanfest Long Article on TenTonHammer Slashdot Article Older Video showing Characters and Environments Long video focusing on characters & customizations Dev post: Housing Dev post: Ambulation not manditory. Also - Ambulation will not add lag. Dev post: There will be bars; will not be dancing Dev post: Environments will be customized by race Dev post: Early ambulation build runs on DirectX 9, Shader model 3.0 on Windows XP. That's all I had time to search out, for the moment. If anyone else has any other documented, referanced information, please feel free to post it and I'll edit it in to the beginning. Hopefully this way we can just link one thread at people who keep asking the same questions, rather than 10 threads. ----------------

You used to be able to do that, but with the new engine that feature wasn't added when it was changed for speed. Ishkur Policy Research Group	Posted - 2008.07.22 16:47:00 - [13] Can we just say "walking"? I know, ambulation is all Latin root (from 'ambulare' to walk - I am very smrt) and thus sounds more high-falutin. But it bothers me, I don't know why. Anyone else think it should just be called "walking"?
