im pretty sure IAC had no intention of dropping caps in ZXIC untill ISS invaded F4R2 with MC, FIX, VI and co. You started the POS pew pew, we finished it, that all.

Yes, Count did over-react somewhat to the stnadings reset. Well, your masterstroke was getting -A- involved, of course.
MC/LV got very scared and ran away, and IAC/ISS was never going to end well for ISS, no matter what Count (worst FC ever btw) thought.

I was pretty sure that CVA napfest was blue to IAC. Or did it work "IAC halp us - ok, but dont count on us to help you back"?
As for hydra - they lost most of the space in 2 weeks but even then they actually tried to counter (even by lame pos spam). Not sure how it went in IAC space...

this is 100% true i was in the exec room when tyrrax made the call to hit iss, we wanted some pew pew not an all out war, count overreacted and called in the mercs. he`ll complain about asking us our intentions but in fairness im sure an invading country isnt going to tell their enemy there plans, wont get a fight then ;)

CVA napfest is blue to IAC but not involved at all, same with TCF. as for resistance, iac have been putting up some and still have 4 out of the 7 stations they had at the start of this offensive (but going to lose sov in all of them soonish)
anyways not comparable to hydra's situation at all

This is patently false, CVA has been directly involved whenever strategic arrangements are made.
The issue currently is that most of CVA's diplomatic contacts with IAC have left, the shared strategic channel has been shut down, and the only thing we keep hearing when we proactively approach IAC about needing help is "we're not going to fight in x location, we'll draw the line somewhere else."
CVA has yet to be informed where that "somewhere else" is.
But, yeah, we've lost plenty of ships trying to help IAC and bolster their gangs, only to find out the overall strategic plan for the system we thought we were defending was to just let -A- take it anyway.

So basically like I said you're not involved at all (admittedly mostly because there's nothing to be involved in what with IAC having given up on seriously defending their stations ages ago)
I don't really think Provipeeps would've been able to do much that far from your bases anyway, in my experience the turnout is less than impressive for anything more than a couple of jumps outside providence.. Could've been pretty tactically interesting if you guys had a titan to jumpbridge fleets between prov and MB- (if anybody was coordinating a resistance effort that is)

Well, this is a seperate issue to be sure...and more than distance, you have the issue of -A- being a large, highly capable, and highly motivated alliance. Beating 'em on a strategic scale is obviously not something "Provipeeps" (I like that ) are capable of.
But I do wish communication would have been more solid. We wanted to provide more help than we did under the circumstances. As was eluded to earlier, we owed 'em at least that much.

So wrong re : TCF. IAC has drawn the line in YKE , twice now we have engaged IAC on equal or they having greater numbers and twice we have beaten them back even destroying one pos . 2nd engagement involved us warping to a large amarr pos they were in the process of anchoring with Dark Trinity . We engaged and won the fight , but then IAC called in a 40 plus TCF fleet who cyno'd caps on top of us . losses were 14 -7 in our favour with TCF holding the field and IAC holding the station Everytime we engage IAC now I guess its gonna be a case of IAC crying to tcf , more reds to shoot though

Garry Kasparov vs Vishy Annand 1995 world chess championships (after game 9 anyway, game 9 is one of my favorite games Amazing chess )
Thats at least two big circumstances where mental intimidation had a lot to do with the loss, mental preparation in competitive chess is very important.
As for IAC I have nothing but respect for them, it's been a real pleasure flying with you guys and I wish you all the best in the future. AAA have been classy opponents and I think I've taken a lot away from fighting with them. All the best.

I don't think Count over reacted, as much as jumped at the chance to take F4R. He was interested in the coming sov changes and was looking for an excuse to flatten IAC. I was mildly horrified at what I found at the top of ISS, which was one of the reasons I chose to leave.

Apple boy stole our 20 deathstar kits we had prepared for this scenario just as he left the alliance, his argument was "you know IAC is failure cascading, and any alliance assets are up for graps" (I can show you the real log if you wish) aswell as stealing all the isk in the few alliance wallets he had acces to + a freighter. So to you goons, that allways told us apple was no good, and we allways told you to stfu and mind your own business, i stand corrected, Apple boy indeed is nothing more than a petty thief.
He did give them back though, after we made it public to the 1500 members (at that time) that apple royally screw everyone over, but when we got them back, it was far too late to do anything, AAA had rampaged our space for nearly a week, and all resistance was broken by then.
As for the CVA part, we didnt ask them for help mutch, maybe we should, i dunno, but the general attitude in IAC was people was getting fed up with fighting -A-, they where mutch mutch MUTCH more powerfull than us, and alot of whispers in the corners about IAC should relocate to some space far away from them.
CVA allways been good allies, but as someone said in a previous post, getting them to fight outside Prov was increasingly difficult, so when the time came, we didnt bother alot tbh.
I have no regrets, IAC been fighting -A- for almost 6 months, they allways been stronger and more hardcore than us, loosing to the second greatest alliance in the game is no shame (BoB is still da king)...
Kudos to you -A- nice fighting, and rarely any smack, ill give you guys that mutch.

Well, since Eaiaden felt like trying to drag me through the mud...
Eaiaden and Hachou killed the alliance and caused the loss of jzv. I held up my end of the deal. I moved all the deathstar kits out of jzv so they couldn't get left in the systems and kept them long enough to make sure they wouldn't be wasted on a lost cause. I paid for that freighter and the isk I took was to cover all the isk I put into the deathstar kits that I never got reimbursed for because you guys never gave me enough isk to buy everything. Extra isk I transfered to Thundirr to make sure it was safe because I don't trust you or Hachou as you two are the reason why one of the oldest alliances in the game went from limping along but possibly fixable to a complete failure.
Hachou never communicated with anyone - allies, execs, directors, or the members. Eaiaden and Hachou tried to keep everything a secret for some stupid reason. The execs had several meetings and came up with some good solutions and every time Hachou would agree, then turn around and make some announcement that went completely against what we discussed and made things worse rather than better. His idea of working with allies for joint ops was "We're attacking/defending at x place at y time" and then disappear and not answer any other questions which is why they often didn't come (and I don't blame them in the least). Hachou also made countless stupid calls while FCing and went from (what I kept being told) one of the best FCs to being worse than me. He has more stupid and avoidable capital losses under his belt than I do, and that's a hard feat.
Eaiaden tried to take over when Hachou started to go afk because of work or whatever, but he went on a power trip too making decisions without checking with anyone else, and they weren't always good decisions. Both Hachou and Eaiaden also brought in quite a few crappy corps and never kicked them which is why our two main FCs left the alliance, granted it couldn't've come at a worse time. 3/4 of the 35 corps in the alliance had less than 10 members with over 10 kills each month and Hachou and Eaiaden waited way too long to kick them besides pleas from the execs and FCs to do it and get it over with a long time ago.
Contrary to what many of the new members of IAC thought, I worked with CVA to do what they could while IAC tried to fend -A- off from slowly pushing us back and cutting off our POS isk making abilities, but we could only do so much as Hachou would never communicate his plans when he called ops, so CVA didn't know what we needed and usually just tried to cut them off or attack elsewhere. TCF never would commit to anything for helping. I talked to R0adkill to see if they could help us against -A- since they moved into stain, but they only helped for one op with about 30 guys before cutting off contact and then falling apart themselves.
The original corps I'll always try and be friends with - genco, minc, and the wodka members that were a blast to hang out with. There were a few of the newer corps that helped out IAC quite a bit and they know which ones they are. The rest sucked and should've been kicked a long time ago. I left for the same reasons Genco and muppets left and now I'm all about getting revenge on the NC and goons, and so far it's been fun.

I'm sure they would appreciate the help. Despite greater numbers on the IAC side, it's a bit of a turkey shoot right now until they call in the TCF blob
Hope to see you around.

Orders from the Exec level to execs by Hachou,
2008.09.12 - 07:22 "Hachou: Eaiaden, Apple Boy, Skullkeeper, Zebass, work on evacuation all IAC F/ WODKA assets to Litom. "
-------------------
Over the next couple of days Apple along with a few other members were able to move all IAC.F / WODKA assets out of JZV to Litom and another system.
Because of the rush on moving assets out, damaged crystals were packed in with the pos stuff. This lead to an issue of contracting the towers back to IAC. This issue was resolved and the assets were returned. The isk given to me (because Apple no longer had access to IAC.F logistics wallet) is still on my char until Hachou asks for it.
