If you attempt a crime, the outcome is irrelevant, the attempt is still against the law. If I say I'm going to beat you up, and you believe me, that constitutes assault. If I do it, that is assault AND battery and thats why you always hear them used in conjunction on episodes of cops and or steven segal LAWMAN.
god damn it, I came up with an example/analogy thing on accident. For shame.

Come on, what most likely happened here is that Mr. Gianturco mixed up himself with his character. This can happen if you are as much into it as he must have been.
He realized his mistake, he had the spine to make an open apology, he got slapped. He will not be politically active for a year, and he might decide not to run for office again.
I'm for second chances for someone who put a lot of work into this game environment. |
