I have but one request.
Don't pick racers based on their standings with the corps they choose to represent. Doing so favours experienced players and prevents the event from being an all-inclusive scenario.
Pick them based on their application instead.

I'm kind of currious as to what the prize at the end of this thing is going to be. I'm hoping it is somethign like a Caldari equivelant to a Royal Armag. Some sort of Uber BS. It had better not be something like 1Mil ISK or some such.
I'm waiting till they announce the prize before I decide if I'll enter.

I am pretty sure they wont announce the prize.. at least they didn't do that with the amarr championship but I am nearly sure that the price will be something very unique for the caldari race.

Too bad the corp I have been working for isn't in the list. 7.7 standing with Caldari Steel is not going to help me I'm afraid. I do feel that the standing part rules out new players which is too bad really.

Technically, no. The standings rule is that people who have positive corp standings of 0.1 or above can enter. If you do a couple of missions for the Caldari in the month before entries close, you can easily reach that...
I'm currently at 0.33 rating with the Caldari, but that's only because I have Diplomacy 3 skill...I hope they still let me enter though...

i feel while the stadings system penalises people who havnt been playing long there is no other way of doing it, besides mabye a random draw..
im going to blitz my agent this next month and hopefully ill get lucky
