When the number of people who had signed up was displayed it seemed a likely explanation.
No offense to anyone was intended.

One of the reasons I picked Wiyrkomi was because I figured it would have a pretty low number of entrants, so I would have a greater chance of getting in. Looks like I was right, but now that everyone can see that, my strategy is going to be nullified. Thanks a lot.

When calculating standigns for entry will basic standings be used or modified standings with skills modifiers?
Just wondering cos I am -0.7 with Caldari but positive if you count my connections skills.

Sadly I can't compete due hardware lagging (100 jumps = 3-4 Eve restarts), but I would like to add a small bonus to Lai Dai racers. In the moment I'm thinking about:
5 mio ISK for best Lai Dai racer
3 mio ISK for the 2nd
2 mio ISK for the 3rd
...the rest will get some Ammo S Orginal BPOs ;-)
I didn't get any Tech 2 BPOs from my corp, so I can't give out limited BPCs.
@Jera: I hope you didn't forget my offer.
@Nebulai: Will all racers been posted or just the top 3, in that case I might have trouble getting the names of the people :-(

It is called the Caldari Colossus Championship because it is hosted, sponsored, and being run by the eight Caldari megacorps. Unless there is a rule change, there is no restriction on race, only on whether your faction with the sponsoring corp is sufficiently high enough to get you selected. Of course, this means that Caldari are much more likely to get in since you would need to run missions for Caldari megacorps. Unlike the Amarr, Gallente, and Minmatar who show strong...umm...racial identities and pride, we Caldari are more accepting of the different races & cultures. After all, we know that regardless of an individuals cultural background everyone can be economically expl...I mean, franchised and traded with. We have not the biases or prejudices that hamper the other civilizations.

Mr. Ivresse, check the local Gallente university and see if they offer the Caldari State Factionalism 101 course. I have chosen Ishukone as my sponsor corp and hope I make the selection process. Since their beliefs are also my own, I will put every ounce of my skill and my ships abilities to winning the Colossus for them.

I will do my best to fly for the honor of the Caldari State and for the Kaalakiota Corporation if I make it through the selections. And to my Caldari Brethern and Sisters this. As long as there are Gallente in the race you will be safe from my missiles and such. I rahter have a Caldari win for one of the thin blooded Corporations then a Gallente. And we all know why.
