He offered to sell me his shares in the DTRUK project at face value 500million isk. He then claimed that I never sent the ISK.http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=986845&page=2#36 I have petitioned for a moderator to confirm that I sent the ISK to him, as well as put up a screenshot showing that the ISK has been sent. http://dl.eve-files.com/media/0902/Proof123.jpg I am also posting a screenshot of the conversations that I had with him via evemail. http://dl.eve-files.com/media/0902/Proof234.jpg As you all can see I have down my part of the deal, and he has ripped me off. No on the accusations that I am an alt of evn7289, they are not true. I bought this toon for 10bn ISK from evn7289 before he pulled of his scam. I use this toon as a production and mining character. I am just trying to invest my hard earned ISK into projects that I think are safe. Please don't burn me because I bought from evn7289 before he scammed. Cosmoray if this is just a misunderstanding (which is hard for me to believe) please just send my ISK back.

He admits to stealing my ISK and claims that he will pay me interest if I prove that I am bought. I will give any any of my API information away to anyone. I bought this character legally through the CCP system.

I'm fairly sure that screenshot is legitimate. if so then I point out immediately below the donation to cosmoray is a donation of 500,000,000 million ISK to Hapenburg. My immediate guess is that it's a character the ISK got washed through, i.e. is from an account not affiliated with the API of Hapenburg. So the full API audit will turn up nothing anyway. But go on and humor me. Show me who the 500,000,000 mil donation is from. If it's from your account, then where did they recieve the money from. I.e. show us his logs too. If not, get their API key too. Can't get it? Then you're in a bit of proof-lacking.

You have not proven he's a scammer. You've simply shown he recieved ISK from you. That is not a scam.

I never had any intention of selling them. Seeing as I was scammed for 500M by Xabier who is either an ALT of evn7289/hapenburg or a partner in the scams, it was my chance to get my money back. As far as I am concerned anyone who scams is fair game, and now that I have my cash back I am even. I would never have any intention of scamming in this game, but this is cheaters justice. If Hapenburg wishes to undergo a full API audit proving he is NOT an ALT of evn7289, with ZERO wallet items (excluding player purchase) that are related to Xabier or evn7289 I will then refund the full 500M ISk + interest at EBANK rates and round up to the full month. You do understand that saying this, makes you the obvious bad guy of this thread and no amount of saying otherwise will convince us that Cosmo didn't just scam a scammer out his money or "break even", meaning you have just been played by a better player. Either settle for the fact that you've met your better, or dish out the real evidence to prove you're not the one at fault here or just smudging cosmos reputation for playing a scammer out of his money.

It's because your character is directly connected to a known scam. Your word mean nothing to anyone here, and your screenshots are worthless. Hapenburg deposited evn7289 deposited Look closely at the screenshot posted. You see the last 'd' of 'evn7289 deposited' has it's top sitting just between the 't' and the 'e'. EVE's font, much like the forum font, does not use equisized font, aka not all characters take up the same space as each other. That's incredibly unlikely that your alts name, or whoever you received money from in this case, has exactly the same width as evn7289. I don't need your API. You got that money from evn7289. Now go away.

Hapenburg states that he bought the character from evn7289 about 3 days after the scam was revealed. Won't disclose who paid for the character! Didn't use forums for sale! Won't submit to any audit with main or Hapenburg! Next Hapenburg states that I cost him all his income. He only make 800M a month. When I point out he stated he makes 1.2B ISK per month in the cap module business, he replies "I over state things". average profit Hapenburg can't keep up with his own social manipulation attempts. I can post my chat logs if anyone likes. How do I do that by the way? Never realised revenge would be sooooooooo sweet!!!!

The top of the numbers are actually one pixel lower than the top of the d (with a good quality shot). Unfortunately it's impossible to tell for certain what that stray pixel is with the distortion through image quality loss and the effects of the smearing/strikethrough, and what conditions the original screenshot was taken under. API key would prove it for sure, however I believe it'd just implicate the OP further

Future business associates would have to weigh the possibility of you deciding they're an alt of some scammer and then having to prove otherwise vs. benefit of association. Not a problem for me since I don't trust any of you people in the first place. Still, food for thought.

If I was to wthold any scammers assets while running an IPO, it would have to be stated in the IPO document. If my rep takes a bit of a hit for getting my own lost money back, then so be it.
