The weapons are only part of it. I respectfully disagree that the ships are "fine". You can mount uber 1400mm's on a Tempest all day long and your still gonna bite it because the tank is inferior to a Raven or Apoc. And this is assuming you are do...

I'd skip the XL booster...even with an amp and two T2 cap chargers you're out of cap in about 1 minute 40 seconds. 1 L T2 Shield booster, and two amps works better for me.
