Theres nothing wrong with gatecamps persay, but the increasing size and number of them is disturbing and is destroying gameplay. It is not uncommon to see gatecamps in lowsec at every important intersection from high to lowsec, even lowsec to 0....

Once you realise that amarr kill enemies by tanking them, and then removing the enemies cap, i think you will find they work ok. Look at the geddon for example :)
