What's a falcon's range now?
Someone said the rook was now, because of its bonuses on the level of a cerb?? Is it some kind of bad joke? Anyway, I wish my lachesis had some real damage bonuses like that. That guns & missiles mix is jut a joke for something named 'combat' in the gallente design.
Also, falcons had at least something wrong for no one cared about using a rook instead of a falcon.
I think there's still something wrong in the choice we have of force recon vs combat recons, you won't often choose combat recons. Cloaking is so important that it counterbalances all bonuses the combat recons get over the force.
And for falcons being useless, I still don't think they are, they are just no more immune to gate fights. -- Fanfest memories (the middle line might be inaccurate) : I looked in your eyes And I found the galaxy Now I'm stuck in eve.

Wow, this is priceless!
I'd really like some serious bug fixes. Like the Orca one, when ppl while takin' their ships from Orca's bay, get a FULLY OFFLINE FITTED SHIP (anyone had that? Pretty sure I'm not the only one here...) Oh btw you have to dock with that hulk & unfit/fit all over again, or you can't bring online the 3rd strip miner (huzzah for this bug).
Industry 1 as a requirement? Erm...whatever.

Well, looks like all the falcon pilots can claim a partial victory, these 2 changes seem to be missing from the patch notes now....or some developer messed up re-editing the patch notes...

But I know you guys are all about saving CPU time on the server, so why not just have a check once a day during DT that reverts training time to normal if the character is now about 1.6M sp.

I do not see this patch as being a nerf to ECM as a whole, just the falcon and the scorp. While I cheer that falcons are finally being "rebalanced", you boys lost the plot with the Scorp. Keep their range bonus. Rooks on the other hand, are now going to be the new pvp powerhouses, I don't know why pirates are whining, I can see them being mass produced. an extra 50% bonus to their ECM power? Shield and ROF boost? Lawl anyone?
I made a gallente character to use drones. I am not the best droneboat pilot out there admittedly, but I say again, you boys lost the plot. My arguments to this particular change : 1)Once there were 10 deployable drones, too overpowered, dropped to 5. - Understandable. 2)Drone ROF was reduced by 50%, but damage increased by 50% to reduce server calls. - Err... right. My dps is shot, but alpha has gone up. Domi sentry snipers! STILL NOT WANTED IN FLEET ENGAGEMENTS! 3)Bandwith added to balance the imbalanced myrmidon. - This one jst ****ed me off. Droneboats are powerful but VERY easily countered unless supported. Hello missiles? Most highsec carebears use em, can't you shoot the drones? No they whined to CCP instead. Tank was too strong, it killed my raven. Use a ****ing target painter see how fast the drones would pop. Fit your ravens properly. Idiots..... 4)While we boost/nerf/rebalance ECM and ECM boats, we are going to screw with drones even more, the one weapon system that could allow a defence against ECM. We will spay those little scamps, and make them obey your every command, just like good old Sansha would. - Words fail me. If I could hulk out, jump all the way to CCP HQ and beat some sense into your heads, I would.
I love this game. It is the best godsdamned game I have EVER played, because it is a sandbox game. I have sat quietly through all the changes, some good, some bad, some glorious. And some downright stupid. I will still play this game, regardless of how desperate CCP is to keeping the whiners in EvE happy, guess what you a**hats, the game is not for the weak.
PS : Bombers! WEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Oh and of course I think the falcon nerf with no real actual thought, and more knee-jerk overreaction to the whiners (who cant be bothered to fit the modules put into the game for just such an event when they can just whine to devs), marks an end to Caldari PvP outside of a Rokh pilot for larger engagements and possibly everything except small gang and ganks. My biggest question is, how are ECM supposed to reach the snipers without being blasted to hell? Even the devs know falcons get called primary in every fight, and that range was the only thing keeping them alive.
So lets review, Missiles nerfed, Shield resists nerfed, ECM nerfed. Next week maybe I can just cash in my SP and roll amarr as caldari gets removed completely from the game. Of course I expect a torrent of "Caldari tears are tastey" and "Whiner!!1one" etc but hey, thats just the way these things go, it doesn't actually count for anything lol.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to supply you all with a new update regarding additions and clarifications to the patch notes.
New additions are:
Tech 3
* The fourth offensive subsystem will allow the fitting of covert ops cloaking devices and the ability to use covert ops jump bridges. * The fourth defensive subsystem will provide a bonus to warfare links. * The fourth propulsion subsystem will provide immunity against non-targeted warp disruption fields, interdictor spheres or anchored bubbles. * The fourth engineering subsystem will give you a bonus to heat damage reduction allowing you to overheat your modules for longer. * the fourth electronic subsystem will provide bonus to equip an expanded probe launcher and gain a 10% scan strength bonus to probes per level.
User Interface
* Every scan result will now get a unique ID allowing you to manage and sort scan results with greater ease. You can now filter this unique ID and ignore all other results when scanning for certain signatures. * It is now possible to bookmark a 100% signature hit remotely via right click in the context menu. In addition, the scanner will remember signatures which were scanned at 100% so that they are not lost on subsequent scans. * The range for scooping items from a wreck or container has been increased from 1500m to 2500m. In addition the scoop range for drones has also been increased to 2500m.

Agility Changes
Agility changes have not made it into this release.
EVE Voice, Mail & Chat
A busy notification message will be displayed when attempting to start a private conversation with a player who is already involved in a private conversation with another player. This change relates to EVE Voice only.
Drones
I have made enquires regarding the status of drones attacking and not switching targets as per the player command. Players have been asking if this means that drones stay idle if your ship is damped or jammed etc. I will update as I know more.
Cyno effect
There is no change in this patch to the graphical effect of cynos.
I will add more updates as they become available so continue leaving questions or queries and we will provide answers as soon as they become available.

Ok Nav, thanks for the update. My question though is, if we're not getting a graphical change to cynos this patch, do we at least know if we will in the next patch, or the patch after, or if the idea of returning the old effect to us at all is being kicked around? I wouldnt mind knowing if its at least being considered, or if we're just holding on to false hope lol.

Disappointed that the stealthbomber changes didn't make it onto the news page.
Going to be insane alpha with 3 torps and a bomb but clocked velocity sucks (yes I can warp cloaked but that doesn't help me get into position on a bubblecamp unless I want to get sucked in and decloaked by the waiting tacklers before I can drop my torps, bomb and warp out).
Multiple kick in the balls for bomber pilots with the loss of cruise missiles causing the need to train torps and the removal of the training bonus to implants after podding.
Training torps to V without implants - thanks very much :(
Not to mention getting those expensive and bulky cov-ops cloaks, ammo and launchers out to 0.0 to refit the now useless bombers already there. Lucky for me I bought a load of arby siege before the price went nuts.
I forsee another bomber nurf soon as BS pilots complain about being alpha struck by 15 bombers.
As to the ecm changes, unlike other people I won't comment on a ship I don't fly.

It sure looks a lot like Empire L4 pve vs 0.0 bubble pvp - 1 : 0 And not a half time score either.

Can Gallente pilots get SP reimbursed or changed to torps due to the Stealth bomber change? This is not the same as before when a ship role was changed. As this time there are no other Gallente ships focuses on those missiles skillpoints. This time millions of skills points go to waste that took months to get that are of no real use for other Gallante ships.
The only reason I have any missile skills are due to the Stealth bomber. Now you're saying those skills are useless for your race, you wasted all that training time.
