CCP needs to take a hard look at Goonswarm and Hulkageddon to save EVE.

They have enouph protection to be emune from Hulkageddon so they decided to get rid of the high sec competition. CCP you need to take a hard stance against Goonswarm to save EVE and your jobs. I know this is a sandbox, but if the the sandbox fills up with **** you need to throw it out and get new sand. Goonswarm what are you going to to do when only pirates are playing and the player base is so low EVE dies a slow death like Star Wars. The only reason you are so big is because of high sec and the carebears. Carebears give you and other pirates something to fight against. When carebears are gone who are you going to fight then? I think your going to be playing with yourself!! Goonswarm do you think EVE cant die? I played in Starwars from its start until it died. At its high point it was way more popular than EVE will ever be. We thought it could never die. Another game designer is going see that EVE is weak and create another similar game. When it does carebears and your pirate members are going to leave EVE in droves. When it does CCP and Goonswarm are going to be crying!

My point is everyone will be crying when carebears are driven from the game. Im not a carebear but even I realize they are needed to balance the game.

Since PvP is the only reason why any rational person would choose to play EVE instead of a game with better PvE, PvP is the lifeblood of EVE. Why would they extend Hulkageddon then? Isn't Eve about militarily achieving objectives? Isn't it about networking and emergent gameplay involving other people? Why should CCP bother? Yes because the truth is Star Wars Galaxies died because another developer developed a similar game, not because Sony Online Entertainment developed, well, a second (worse) version of Star Wars Galaxies and overwrote it over the top. I often wonder what it would be like to be a part of the epic tear generator that is goon(whatever). However, I personally lack the drive, determination and intuition to be a part of it. That said, I highly doubt Eve is "gonna die". I came back for infreno and the game looks better than ever and I personally feel that the interface is easier to navigate now than it was, back when I started my first account in 05 (dead account) and then this account and now.

When you try to be clever and you have nothing to offer more than the crying thing, maybe you could take time to check your word usage. Kind of spoils the effect. To OP, appealing to the Goon conscience is useless. Appealing to CCP is equally useless. Goons are caught up in the badass attitude thing and CCP is trying desperately to make a second game that somebody gives a crap about. CCP has declared Hulkageddon to be a feature. That solves the problem.

You put up a tower, you defend it with real people, real people pull the minerals from it and sell it on the market. For the other two, if you have any evidence of it I suggest you submit it to CCP with all the details you can gather. Names, places, times, behaviors, everything. No, everyone is allowed to play, but everyone plays in the same sandbox, and the strong dictate how things work, because they are able to enforce it. If a big enough group of peaceniks were to take power, they could try to enforce a ban on ganking.

That's like asking teachers to change the rules of gravity because it hibders your castle building. Deal with the rules of the sandbox, don't expect or demand they change to cater to your play style.
