hey ya, great patch and all. one issue that have come to mind is that the bulletin board doesn't broadcast new posts. seems like a wasted feature. should atleast make the corp icon on the neocom flash like the mail icon when theres a new post.

Nice patch, space looks darker now. Much better now.
But I miss a thing, when I read about the warn tones when shields/armor/hull reached a point, I thought they will last till I get above the point, and not only be played for a few secs.
A setting for single warning tone or permanent warnings would be nice.

Really nice patch with cool little things like ship restrictions etcetera. Installment and download was painless and effortless. New stars and planets look fantastic. Fleetfinder is really cool. Love it. Great work CCP.

Quitting and restarting helped. It might just be if you go from full screen mode to windowed mode and don't log out.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the new starfield?
For some reason, despite it clearly being more dense, it actually looks like a lower resolution. The stars are too blurred in places - looking like a low res texture rather than countless pin points of lights, and so it seems to have lost the impression of 'depth'. It now -looks- like a sky box, rather than a convincing starfield.
Maybe I need to adjust the contrast and brightness on my screen, but it looked fine before.

Wow, I love the new planets and moons. Great job!
Now for the funny part, lol, believe it or not, there is one small problem which I'll simply post here and not in the issues thread as this is a nit.
Pre-Dominion, The Forge, Okomon Constellation, Saisio System
It seems that two of the planets have swapped places. Saisio VI and Saisio VII. How do I know this? Well, it just happens to be the first system I'm exploring with the goal of visiting each and every system in Eve. See my blog for details . . .

Second this... and a screaming 'you have been locked by another player' tone would be nice too; just to keep the adrenaline going.
Other than this I have two things to say.
1) WTF? its the day after patch day and it works. Who are you and what have you done with the real CCP? :)
2) Just AWESOME visuals... I had forgotten the initial 'wow' experience I had when I first played eve until I had it again just then... bloody good job.
Made of win.

It deployed smoothly it looks like.
The downside is my mothership has become titan bait as it did not receive a hp buff. Not exactly balanced that an 18 billion isk ship can be taken out in one shot by a titan, to be honest. It's staying in a POS from now on in a secret system.

Still waiting for my bootini to disappear, but until it does, a few suggestions:
FF:
1) Should not be able to set dest to boss if ur not in gang
2) When you right click a fleet linky, how is "open in new view" supposed to work? All I get is a browser error.
3) For fleet linkies, right click menu should have a "show advert" option, or something like that.
4) When fleet boss becomes the only fleet member due to ppl leaving, the advert should not be deleted.
evemail:
1) should be able to right click alliance/corp and have a "mark all as read" option.

Several problems that are apparent with the new patch (not that I'm complaining cos I love it)
1. The EVE Voice icon stays red/on even when the person is not talking
2. Having to click "yes" when you're about to undock with an aggression timer for EVER AGGRESSION YOU HAVE is annoying (massive problem if you multi-client)
3. I agree with a previous poster that I still don't like the new inbox look because it's too much of a clusterf**k and can't tell from personal, corp or alliance mails within Inbox itself
4. When typing in the exact item area of contracts, pressing enter doesn't trigger the auto fill feature or bring up the item list like before. And even after the box has been filled in, you have to press the "get contracts" button a second time to actually load the contracts
5. There needs to be a default setting that you can have set or different categories saved like you can with your overview. Having to set it so that blues are allowed, setting standings allowed each time is beyond annoying

It happens the same to me with my Mac client!
Downloading and install was ok as the first hour. Since I've started the jukebox all started crashing one by one.
Actually the EVE app doesn't work anymore!
Are the Mac users wiped out of EVE? I'll try tomorrow, but I'd like some help!
PS: New planets textures and starfield look great and amzing, just if it works!

Disappointed by the download speed...
Back in March, I could download Apocrypha at 1.2 mb/s, but Dominion won't go faster than 50 kb/s.
The new UI is fantastic, the round buttons, the nebulaes and the planets really looked old.

all the bugs need to be fixed, and there are lots, like the one that doesnt let me log in
paying for time that i cant use
it will be worth how ever many days or weeks it takes....
( as you may have guessed im not to happpy with thw whole not being able to log on aprt )

What ever happen to large pulse lasers, looks like a frigate is hiding inside my Battleship and shooting thru the window - looks so not right. And the jukebox, not too user friendly. |

Continuing from other thread:
I've imported an overview xml file with more than 5 tabs. I saw in the patch notes: "# You can no longer create more than 5 tabs when importing an overview XML file." Fair enough. How do I create more than 5 tabs manually. I can't seem to do this with one one of my accounts, but the account that I exported from is working just find with 10 or so.

Fantastic overall, pleasantly surprised at smoothness of patch release.
Few things.
Odd planatary graphic glitches, black line down one side like an overlap, distorted by clouds though?
And quitting crashes 50/50 of times.
