When you send corp mails they will always end up in your members inboxes because ALL mails end up in the inboxes. If they want to have a specific inbox for non-corp/alliance mails just see my above answer.

It's already hard enough to get members to read corp structure mails. In the old system I reduced the mails to the fewest number possible and organized by sender (My main account did general corp mails, my alt did departments, my industrial director did industrial mails, etc.). Please let me know how I can organize corp mail in this new system.
For example you could use the new bulletin board feature. It does require the members to check one more place so that's a bit of a downer, but it's a nice feature nevertheless.

Greetings!
Patching was smooth and I was positively surprised that the server was online way before estimate. Overall I am very content and happy with the patch. However, I also see some things that could use a little improvement so hereÆs some feedback:
- Really cool new planet and moon graphics, although I miss planetary development indicators on planets that are storyline-wise important. Like, Amarr Prime seems to be an undeveloped but hospitable planet in the 224th century of mankind. I would have liked interlinked metropolises, ruined atmospheres etc. Also there seem to be some graphic effects missing like moving clouds or lightning storms from the videos.
- Sadly, the overpowering nebulae were not nerfed :-) Seriously, some of the new planet skins just look too artificial before the nebulae. I always have the impression of flying around in a mug of freshly stirred latte macchiato. Please, please CCP cut down the amount and ôimpactö of those creamy background spoilers.
- The UI is too much ôComputers in the 1990sö-style. It is just functional, ôMS-ExcelÆishö and not something comparable with the semi-transparent UIÆs from your videos. Improve this please, it will add atmosphere.
- The Mail system is better than the old one but lacks functionalities to sort incoming messages. Thus, there is a bubble of incoming mails you have to sort manually, which is awkward. I should like to implement mailing rules like in any other mail program. E.g. assigning labels like ôcorpö, ôallyö or ôprivateö to people from the ôpeoples & placesö thing; or move-to-label X on keywords in the mail header. I imagine Alliance Executors or PR Officers getting nuked by an undiscernable amount of unlabelled evemail that they are reluctant to cope with.
- The Fleet Finder is essentially a nice feature. The standing 0.10 thing is surely debatable but I will not cover this issue. However, I should like the possibility to split the Fleet Finder into two adjacent windows, with one showing the broadcasts and one the fleet structure and composition. So it would be like ôJohnny Abraham (Armageddon)ö.
- I just like the top left Sovereignty-Function. Additional info upon one click, complete with some functions you would have to awkwardly look up on the EVE Map or on DOTLAN. Nicely done!
I will not say anything on the Sov and 0.0 stuff as I have not been there yesterday. I will go there today and have a look around.
So, one more the patch and content really are a job well done, but I would like to encourage CCP to do some fine tuning to various features.

thanx CCP
patching downloaded fast, installed great... i log in and thats when the problems start. i have gone from running everything on med FX at 40fps to everything turned off or on low and running at 5fps or less, and don't even get me started about the LAG... oh yes, i said it... the "L" word, that mystic thing that you say doesn't exist, running vent/TS with dominion is now impossible, and undocking, warping, jumping its all out the window
for the next patch try not worrying to much on how the game looks and try working on how it runs

Only a couple disappointments.
For the fleet finder, the 0.10 standing limit is kind of weird and awkward. I understand that will help new players not make security mistakes, but that's about it and there should be an option somewhere to at least put it to 0.0 so you can let random strangers in, if that's how you like to play Eve.
The skill Q window seems extremely slow to me now. The overall client load up is much faster, so that's a plus, but the UI freezes for 5 - 6 seconds when I open the skill Q window or each time I make a change. Changing the filter to all skills instead of just "skills able to fit in the Q" seems to make it a little faster.
The change to Gallente tag names is cool, except there's something about the font or whatever that I now can't tell what tags are which without hovering over them. I used to be able to tell if the tag was at least a Colonel or Major tag, now all I get is "Federation Navy" on all of them. Kind of went a step backward there.
Otherwise, I love the new planets. I like all the little things like right-click > Hide/Show Route. The Fleet Finder makes getting together with my alt(s) easier. The flat UI is kind of annoying, but maybe I'll get used to it. I like the new FOV setting. The sensor resolution and extra drone bay space on my CNR is nice. Haven't need the extra fittings yet. Can't wait to try the new new player missions (I hear you have to lose your ship in one of them :P ). And, oh, a bunch of more little things. Thanks CCP!
And the mail system is outstanding. Others will discover this when they figure out how to manipulate labels. I had my inbox cleaned up and nicely organized in about 5 minutes.

Originally by: General Esylium you know, I had quit eve because of all the blobing, and the rule of only the huge *****ly 390000 man alliances, I returned to eve for dominion with hope that this has chanced and smaller entities have a chance.
the first thing I check is infrstructure hub, size = 750,000 m3..... ..... .... wtf?.... .....
this means that to take a system in 0.0 you need a normal freigter with a 100 man fleet escort or a titan to jump bridge it, and you have to do that again for every system you take. freighter doing 60 jumps in 0.0 space, guarding it all that, are you kidding me?
seriously, the only thing you make stronger is the giant alliances, small alliances have no hope whatsoever of moving these things without being pets for bigger ones, that's is so f***ed up.
bye. /cancel subscribtion.
tbh I was very happy with the nice changes in graphics, mail and igb, but idd they're just cosmetic changes, while awesome, they don't affect game play that much.
I didn't notice infrastructure hub was 750k.
I wonder how much longer until other people notice how ******ed that is. I'll stick to missions now and hope the devs get some brain cells to fix that.

OK, please correct me if I'm wrong but I just notice something:
The players point of view in space bobs around like you are floating in water. I'm not talking about the camera shake which I have turned off. Anyway, I started getting nauseous when looking at my screen. It's like being on a rolling boat.
Is this new or was this in Apocrypha also and I never noticed it?
Whatever the case, I'd like to turn it off.
The bouncing around in space totally breaks the Emmersion of the game. There are no waves in space CCP.. seriously! Are you guys really that.... *Arachnia edit: I don't think calling game programmers 'stupid' is smart*
This is something I vaugely recal before but it has been 'enhanced' in this patch and is much more severe.
So far this is my only major complaint. Game patched fine.
The 'rocking boat' effect from the camera view is decidedly more pronounced in Dominion, if it even existed before in Apoc. It is very annoying if your sitting in space mining because you think your ship has 'broke lose' and started moving because you've accidentally double clicked something. I'm sure it's also annoying if your sitting in space cloaked doing recon.
Would love for it to be a turn off-able 'feature', not sure why anybody would have it on unless they miss their salty days as skipper on some old sea scow. For the rest of us landlubbers the effect is kinda nauseating.
Please install some stabilization thrusters on the POV camera, stat!
(PS: It's annoying enough that if you even created a skill called Thruster Stabilization I'd buy that skill and train it, imeeeeeeediately)

Some random impressions:
Love the low shield/armor sounds. Already saved my ass once when trying out an experimental fit and ****ing up the aggro management.
Report spammer might be my new favorite feature.
The planets are stunning.
There's no find function in the IGB? WTF? Also, middle click doesn't close tabs like every other application on the planet...
The fleet finder doesn't appear to work at all. No settings configuration I came up with would cause any fleets to be found.
Where do I go to modify my default fleet settings? And my share-rewards-with-gang setting?
The camera bouncing is annoying and needs to DIAF. I'm not on a fraking boat.
I have now idea how to use the new mail system. Least intuitive interface to date.
A stand alone downloadable patcher would have been nice since I have two clients I needed to update. I but I just kicked them off one after another and wasted a whole bunch of your bandwidth. Sorry. - Support DISBANDING the Alliance CCP Renamed at the Alliance's Request |

Planets, starfield looks great. Nebulae seem to be less defined, which is an improvement.
Graphics overall much more crisp, like going to "High" from "Med" without changing a setting.
Was able to access my Alienhand file instantly to use as the jukebox. Huzzah!
Stargate chatter very repetitive. That "Let me know" guy is everywhere. Audio loop needs to be extended, how 'bout some "Roger that", "Out Here", "Do you read, over", "Affirmative Gate Control", "Standing by", "Willco, over", "Negative, Gatekeeper" or other such terms that would mimic communication between Stargate personnel and pilots?
Camera shake resolved quickly after hitting "Control" and Rt/Left mouse buttons and moving mouse to the left. Ship movement/rotation seems much smoother.
IGB rocks, thanks!

New planets look great, the new FOV also does its job very well (the scale of things looked wrong - ships looked about the same size as a station - not anymore). However I have some opinions about the new stars.
The new starfield (background stars) are too BIG, some stars that are not even fully bright are bigger than 1 pixel - it looks like poorly done spraypaint (especially when zoomed in) - on higher resolution screens.
My suggestion is to scale it down (maybe half-size the current "starbox" texture) and tune up the contrast, so the brightest stars will appear tiny and DISTANT but very bright. the current ones just seem like distant moons or planets in the same system. I think this should really be taken into account especially people are getting bigger and bigger screens with higher and higher resolutions.
Also, where is my option to turn off shadows? It helps a lot to FPS in a congested scene.

The camera rocking while sitting still is bringing back my DMS (Doom Motion Sickness - yes it's a real term). I've never been able to play FPS games since Doom came out for long unless it could be disabled or I will actually reach the point of...well.....you've seen kids get carsick before, right? Downloaded and installed in less than 20 minutes.
No immediate problems at all but noticed the time delay when opening the skill training window.
New look, looks nice and sharp.
The mail system needs polishing up or setting up to make it more clear where the new mails are from etc.
Just so happens I updated the graphics drivers a few days ago so maybe that helped not have any problems.
I cant believe the amount of posts complaining of graphical problems when with all new released games and / or patches the drivers need to be the latest release 99% of the time.
Tip = install all new drivers before whining about graphics/sound ;)

Originally by: Handown Smooth running up to now. The only thing I encountered (only once so far) was when logging in and all chat channels became divided into separate windows, neatly arranged to cover most of the UI. I just dragged them back in place. It also seems a little bit more demanding on the processing power requirements as it is just that little longer to load environments.
Nice job.
Yeah, I get the same thing. I only have two chat tabs, Corp and Local. Whenever I log in to the game, it seperates them into seperate windows. A little annoying.

Totally awesome graphics. At last EVE managed to do an more accurate representation of space. The starfields are as they should be. I hope we get more different planets on each update (People always come up with nice planets in sims like Celestia and Orbiter, google it out). This is Deep space as it should be! Now as an explorer I can actually enjoy going all over the universe.

First impressions, starting with the yay!
Installer/patch downloaded and worked with no issues (and for the first time since Apoc deployed, hallelujah) Server/client was stable last night and this morning with no lag UI response is faster, particularly the market and selling stuffz Space looks nice Shield/armour/structure alarms, especially the latter's REEEEEEEEEEEE noise Hide/show route FTW ZOMG THE BROWSER WORKS
...and the boo-urns:
Incessant radio chatter = FFFFUUUU, it needs a separate volume slider or button to switch it off without losing all of the other world sounds Have to enter a path for the jukebox manually, could do with a Browse button/dialog Can't afford a Navy Mega/Domi

I don't like that bigger zoom on the camera, sure it does make the planets look bigger and majestic but it also make it harder to guess distance and ship motions, not to mention exagerated camera jittering and more graphic lag as objects are less subject to a lod reduction.
Right now it's like walking with goggles sticked on your eyes.
Please add an option so we can switch to the original fov, oh please.

Good job overall, a few issues:
The sliders to set standing for a fleet still can't be set precisly.
When someone has Auto-reject turned on and click on a fleet link, nothing happens. No messages or anything.
In parallel, the fleet boss get spammed by notifications that the pilot rejected his invitation. Surely with this new nifty fleet system, we could've get rid of the old system of the "invites". When a player clicks on a fleet link, it should go through since it is his decision no matter what his Auto-reject setting is.

Love the new planetary graphics evemail is different but I'll get used to it IGB ACTUALLY WORKS!!!
However I notice now that a single client for me is using ~65% CPU vs ~25% Before and running 2 clients maxes me out @100% usage, vs about 60% before patch... Any ideas?

So far, everything I have seen is wonderful.
I have 1 suggestion. The only way to "Configure" the jukebox is to right click it. You cant right click on it if you bundle it into the accessories. And once you have the configuration open you have to paste the path to the new play list.
Please make a button to the configuration on the jukebox, and a browse button to set the path to the play list.

For me, this has been the most useful patch to-date. Eye candy improvements aside, the new features have made my life as a CEO of a relatively large corporation much easier. The new mail system rocks, the new fleet system is a bit buggy but still awesome, the in-game browser saves a lot of Alt-Tab outs and I like the new Corp Bulletin Board.
I've only started scratching the surface of the new enhancements but so far, good job, kudos to CCP

New EVEMail System Annoyance
It's either a bug or an unintentional annoyance.
At the moment when you get a corp/alliance mail it comes along with the "Inbox" label and bothers you as a personal mail.
For the general players this probably isn't a problem, but for CEOs and alliance administrators it's highly frustrating shuffling through all the paper work and prioritizing mails every 5 seconds.
I just want to make a suggestion that corp and alliance mails STOP using the "Inbox" label. If at all possible. If you wish to see all mails together you still can use the appropriate tab.
If you (CCP) could make the "Inbox" be the personal "Inbox" I think it was intended to be, it would be great. :) Please re-size your signature to the maximum allowed of 400 x 120 pixels with a maximum file size of 24000 bytes.Applebabe |

I agree with adding an option for FOV - since I personally like the new zoomed FOV for better sense of scale, at times I would also like a zoomed out (or even fish eyed) FOV for better control of the environment without making my own ship microscopic.
And because of the 100 different opinions from 100 different persons, I think it is best to allow custom FOV (maybe within a range of maybe 30 degree to 130).
