Loving this Hulkageddon, so many free drones!
I warp into local 0.4 mining zones for some ratting and the miners flee leaving me lots of shiny new drones, can't think why. surely they aren't scared of little old me

Hulk prices have actually gone down a bit due to lack of buyers. Mineral prices however, are skyrocketing.

It's not entirely the killing of hulks.
Basics.. more ships going Boom, gankers n miners + mods = increase demand for minerals.
Less miners mining because they either smashed, or the other variable that is a whole lot less people are mining this week = less supply being put into market.
So stockpiles are what is being used. Stockpiles of prices set at 'pre-hulkageddon' are selling out to make more gank ships, plus the every day norm while the flow of minerals into those original prices are not taking place so frequently.
Also people noticing the low amount of 'gank-favored' ships on market, yet high demand.. causing an influx in manufucturing of ships to reap profits while minerals are so low from insurance fruad change.

hey guys - sorry I haven't been able to join despite thinking I could.
RL emergency cropped up ... last surviving parent taken ill so I had to hightail it 2 hours to old homestead, just in case... some things get put right slap bang into perspective 
Anyway - all clear and out of danger thank god.
Hoping to join in a little later today - will hop into chat as this char - Have NO Skills so fitting up fastest Frigate I can fly to scout. Based in Jita but willing to fly to join fleets to help scout like I promised I would.
Soz again and hoping to at least see some action.

here's the plan to REALLY solve the macro problem through the beauty of Hulkageddon III. Those bot-pods that warp back and forth even after the hulk was shot out from underneath them are RIPE for some SP loss. I am going to make it my mission for the rest of the event to pod as many bots as I can, and then RE-POD them in their next cycle. Imagine the emorage from the macroer when they log in to realize and entire hulk toon is wasted because he was podded 2 times and woke up in a newb clone the 2nd time.

Was good to cast off the shackles of my dusty mining knuckles and zip around in a ship looking for juicy hulks. BUT - will have to do it as another character as I almost got blended in my non-skilled non- equipped frigate by belt rats! Pah!
I guess the organisation gets a little more solid later in the day when there are more teams in more araes - there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing towards various areas and I kinda watched a failed gank happen...
May try and chip in later tonight depending on how quickly I get packed for a week away and see if it's a bit more co-ordinated... oh the temptation to find the gits who come up and blindly mine the same rocks I'd been mining... watch out you guys - you know who you are.... (and yes they NEVER respond in local)...
