Going off the top of my head for a light neutron catalyst (at work with no access to evemon or eft atm):

Also, what happens if we end up succeeding at an achievement we donated a prize to? Does that prize go to the random jackpot?

A simple question about the rules.
Would it be possible for several corps to take part as a team, while not being formally in an alliance?
As you already count alliances as a single entity for prizes, this wouldn't be very different. Although it might make record keeping a bit harder.

hmmm I suppose we could. However, I'd like to have groups like that mail a list of corps + a "team name" to Hulkageddon Jackpot AT LEAST one week prior to the event.
Ad hoc team making or changing will not be allowed.

Correct, it'll have something like a 3 second cycle time and 700 volley, so 4-5 of these should take down a hulk in a .5 np.

Ok in the sprit of fun and competition, there should be achievment for first or most ganker corpes in High Sec. Of course need KM proof of podding, but as i am a bear and no knothing of this PEEEEEVEEEEEPEEEEEE you speak of when a ganker finishes his evil task, is his pod Global Flagged for everyone to take a pot shot at his pod without fear of Concord retribution? If not never mind and i FAILED AT A IDEA
Thought that it could add a element of danger to the implanted uber warriors out there roflstomping barge pilots.

I don't think you have thought that through.
All hulkageddon people in one corp? set standings. Bam! instant identification of any suicide ganker entering the system. Wardec up? That means any attempt can be intercepted before you even get in range of the barge, and that independent non-mining corps can use you for PvP practice if they like.
It would make it fun simply because miners now have the ability to actually escort and defend their fleets if they chose to. It would remove the carebear aspect of a suicide gank: inability to be fired on when intercepted-and force them to, you know, actually fight?
You'd have to enable limited-duration wardec with no upper limit to be fair, so the geddon squad can pick and choose targets, but even then, miners would know they are a potential target and have an option to fight back.
Right now its just one-sided. This way would make it an actual battle and force both sides to face real risk. Even if you decide to carebear it up by blobbing, you just provide targets to others who can see all your tasty ships and be tempted to wardec you just for the good fights.
Then again, that would involve the possibility of losing, and having losses show up on your killboard, as well as angry miners blobbing back and camping you in station. Surw as hell would make it a real event now, wouldn't it?
 Best post in the entire thread. You hit the nail on the head for why it's so unlikely all (or most) Hulkageddon participants will never be in one corp/alliance.

Hello everyone,
Well I am very excited to be a part of my first Hulkageddon. However, I need some help. Specifically, advice on a crash training course and a low cost / SP ship setup that will do the job for killing mining vessels before being blown up by CONCORD.
I know there are a few skill suggestions in this thread, but to make things easier to locate and perhaps to help others out as well, I started a thread in the Ships & Modules forum specifically for recommended ship setups and skillsets. If you have some advice, can you please post in this thread:

@Intense Thinker: I like them.. but I just felt that Hulkageddon is a player run event, so why not add some player made music. Give it some extra personality so it succeeds beyond expectations and continues to happen in the future. Thought to myself, I'm goin' jump at the chance to give the event a lil extra life.

On a side note.. still no prizes for Caldari n Minmatar region kills?
