Maybe because it doesnt matter for scoring at all?
Our own killboard shows all the devastating losses we had to take during this operation, not that we care about these as a 1mill loss (on killboard, got a good deal with the thrashers so we actually lost about 200k isk for one) compared to a 150mill kill is always a good deal...
Just for those interested, buying 1k thrashers + fittings cost about 580mill isk, you get around 350mill back from insurance and need 5-6 to kill a Hulk. Figure in loot and salvage from exhumers (one single Hulk I looted dropped 75mill salvage and a gisti b-type booster), and its good profit.

And not a one of the barges or hulks we were protecting were destroyed. What I found amazing was how stupid some of you were flying in with legions, abaddons and such to kill a hulk - seriously...seriously...LMAO!
We got a few by having remote reps running on a tanked hulk. We'd call in a nearby system that a hulk was mining, the nubs would then all pile into the system in T1 cruisers and dessies, we would then sit back and laugh watching the nubs getting popped by concord. The fury in local at their failure was worth the effort  .
Unfortunately the majority of them were 14d toons so when we went to post the k/m's they failed as the toons had been minced

All of these miners claiming to have killed gankers are clearly trolling, as miners are too terrible at Eve to tarp anything.

I met a corp that uses a hulk as bait and multi-accounts to get 2 cruisers to warp in and frag them.
