hell you could probably name your toon twelve and a half percent and people will probably all but throw themselves out a spacelock wearing nothing but a greedy grin to give you money in this game. . .
Im guessing the real "why" is it stoped being fun.
cant blame you.

RAY:
Now ive been making supporttickets and writen on forums for 2 months time to resolve a problem that i have. please help me out with this!
I had to sell one of my toons as my isk was running out. Now i got 4b on an e-bank account, witch name does not belong to me no more. Will it be posible to transfer those isk to another account? I can still lock in on both accounts!
My first problem was that the isk was in pending mode and couldnt be transfered. Now the pending has been canceled but theres no option to transfer anymore. What to do?

As one who spewed some negativity in ebank's direction, Imo this is the correct move which earns some respect. Its about damn time :P
I personally thought you had 3 options pressing forward after the whole mess began:
1) Say F it and keep the money
2) Liquidate, likely via a share style approach similar to the one you are now adopting
3) Attempt to make back a good chunk of the money via extremely aggressive money strategies. Heavy amount of studying patch notes/Sisi, get in on technetium, PI NPC goods, reproc oversight, well executed market manipulations, etc.
By announcing the intention to attempt to NOT go with option 1, 2, OR 3, I think ebank earned a lot of the negativity that was shoveled in their direction. A simple statement of "we are going to liquidate, but its going to take time" gets a lot more acceptance than "F you, we aren't going to liquidate, instead we're going to invest in a lot of things with terrible returns". Congrats on finally (12? months later) choosing one of the options and going with it.

About how long does a Password Reset ticket take?
Just asking because it's been a couple days.

One thing you have to give the current Ebank team--Integrity. Being trolled and harrassed and called names by all the MD community, sitting on so much ISK... working so hard for no reward, and they still gave it their all, admitted their failures, and return what they can of your isk when they could've easily walked away with it all. And for that, they definitely deserve props.

Liquidation EBANK is liquidating.
Why? Because.
How? Shares will be issued to verified account holders, one share per full one million ISK. Dividends will be issued as and when funds become available.
When? Now. You have until the 1st of December 2010 to verify your account, after that no more shares will be issued and your balance will be forfeit.
Verification If you have supplied us with your API or BLEEP key then your role in the process is done. The bank will review your account and issue shares if no warning flags are raised.
Last Word Never, ever invest in a 'bank' again.
You post like this and people give you their money?

I came to EBANK after the Riddic scandal figuring you would be able to pull out of this. I don't have a large amount of Isk compared to others but to me it is a large chunk. I'm sad to see you liquidate and just wanted to say thank you for your hard work.

Hi Ray,
Firstly I would like to applaud you and your team in seeing through the whole operation despite the negativity thrown at you guys.
I would like to find out the following:
1) When would the shares distribution start and is there a time line that your team would be following? Or is it going to be distributed on a one time basis after 1st Dec?
2) After shares distribution, when would we be receiving our isk? Is it a regular basis or is it a one time off basis when EBANK has liquidated every asset?

what return of the investments are we looking at ?
Between 30% and 40%? or will it be higher ?
i know it all depends on how many ppl verify their accounts, but would be nice to know what percentage we could expect.

If you want them to continue to manage your money, make a deal with them. No need to have everybody's money locked up, however. Right?

Actually I got my password reset just fine this morning. A little bit of patience isn't a bad thing, considering it's done manually and mailed in-game to the associated account.
Is this the new direction of MD, that anything and everything is jumped on to be flamed? I've watched this whole thing from afar, checking on it every month or so to see of any new news. I wasn't frothing at the mouth in anger when Ricdic dashed, it is EVE after all. There were people left to try and clean up his mess. They've spent nearly a year trying. I can't imagine it's been very enjoyable. They've had to make decisions, I'm sure had to change directions a few times when something wasn't working out as well as they hoped, probably missed some deadlines they set. But damn you people missed no opportunity to cause a stink and kvetch and flame about every little thing. I've seen it all. I bet most of you posting and *****ing don't even have anything invested in it, which makes your third grade hyena mentality all the worse.
The truth of the matter is, after Ricdic bolted, they could have just divided the rest of the assets among themselves and called it a day, but they didn't. A small handful of people have spent the last nearly a year trying to make back the wealth that it took thousands of players to contribute to in the first place, meanwhile getting flamed and hounded for their troubles the whole way about any little thing that could possibly be nitpicked about, and then some. I don't blame them at all for being sick of it, and sick of you people. God knows I would be. And yet here they still are, trying to give the ISK back to the people who invested it. I agree with their decision. To the "well what about inactive people?" folks, everyone with an internet connection and still interested in having a toe in the water of MMOs knows about what happened with Ricdic, and if they even gave the smallest crap about their invested ISK in this, would have been following along to see what the eventual outcome of this would be. If they haven't, then there's a good chance they're probably never gonna come back to the game anyway, so better that everyone who does still have an interest in the game be able to move on with their EVE-lives.
If another year or something somewhere down the line a few people trickle back and wonder where their ISK is, it's just gonna have to be another day in EVE for them.
The few folks that were left have done their best with a tremendous burden, and if anyone else here were in the same situation, I doubt you'd have put up with so much for so long or done any better.
This is what I've seen as someone from the outside looking in and watching the whole situation for the past year who hasn't cared to gnaw and gnash at any possible thing like they rest of you hyenas, anyway.

what makes me sad is it was pretty clear from beginning their going to liquidate. It really was not queston of IF, but WHEN.
Looking at how much isk was missing and then first couple months earnings to compensate, well im suprised it took this long for BOD to realise: lets just call it and liquidate.
Im glad i only have something under a mil in ebank. since it under that i dont get share and there for no dividents either. Well maybe my 30% can go to some that need it more desperetly then me.
Just funny how bank after a bank in eve gets murdered at the end.

I didn't do EBANK as a role-playing idea... In the beginning, it was made to expand the secondary market. While your narrow point of view has always been troll like. If a Bank was done by correctly and actually followed thought correctly without scam or real life problems then it would be more then just a low interest dynamic investment. You know it, you would just rather troll then admit that a service that would allow you to interact with 3rd party sites do commerce and a host of other things missing from EVE.
ahh what do I care, you where one of the year long trolls, trying to convince you is like talking to a maggot to get it to realize it's a maggot and it's only lot in life is eating waste excreted from the rectum of everyone else.

When you log into the website you pretty much can't do anything until you input your API info. If you can see your account balances and whatnot then it should be good to go I believe.
That's just from what I've observed myself though. If I'm for some reason incorrect I'm sure they'll inform otherwise.
