Wow talk about deja vu. Did anyone remember what happened last time CCP did a lil' something with the server. Ya'll seriously gotta learn from the past.
What CCP is doing wrong is not keeping you all off the server it is rather that they didn't say, "It will be done when it's done".
Since when does **** like this go to plan?
My skills are all safely staged on 14 or 15 days, so I am slightly biased but if you were dumb enough to go to bed or work with 4 hours left in your training time, after all that **** that happened last time, then shame on you.

The laws are different from country to country as well as the guidelines for third party contracts (like credit card companies, etc). Unfair contracts law or Consumer Protection can mean something very different depending on where you do business or live. CCP has to deal with them all.
I dont think it can be summed up to a wiki article.

Then I took a (not so deep) breath.

so where does that wiki page state that ccp must compensate you in some waywhen a dt is extended? ccp has kept true to its word that they will provide you with a service (eveonline) which operates on a 23-7 basis within normal parameters and they also state that due to the nature of their service, the 1 hour dt each day may be extended due to unforseen circumstances.
also, lets flip the coin on this one while we are at it. ccp says you can play eve online for 23 hours of the day, but more often than not you can play an extra 30 minutes every day, should they charge you for the extra 30minutes you get from their service? surely they would be within their rights to charge for the extra game time?
anyway back to your unfair laws. the unfair laws are in place for sellers/service providers who benefit from it. ccp do not benefit from an extended dt, quite the opposite in fact. they get slandered to the high heavens, their name gets dragged through the mud and demands are made of them left right and centre.
