The blog mentions that the removal of learning skills is only HALF of the Xmas present...
So what do we think the other half might be? New ship? UI changes? I personally have no idea...

Reduction in cost for new clones, podding gets expensive as your skillpoints climb, it deters pvp for some when it costs more for your clone than it does for what you're flying. In these cases some people create low sp alts to satisfy their pvp needs. |

Hell yeah. Pain in the A.S.S those. If you have one, you might as well have an ISK printing press, but no matter how hard you work you can't get one these days. So they should be removed. However I suspect a lot of mega-wealthy rage quits if they do.
I'm +1 for the remap counter reset. If they are going fundamentally change everyones attributes they can at least give us all a chance to immediately remap them.

What fundamental change to attributes would that be? From the look of things most will have the exact same balance in attributes that they have now with a slight boost in training speed, so any skillplans would remain largely unaltered. The only people who will have their attribute balance changed are the ones who have only partly trained their learning skills and it is safe to assume they planned to train the rest, so the imbalance in attributes was only temporary to begin with.

I think it'll be a Tier 4 Battleship for each race, Minmatar will get the Tornado and CCP would have made their own for the other 3. (prepare for more space turds with camo)
The reason I think this is because it'd be pretty unbalanced if one race got a new ship while the others didn't.

4) CCP impliment a "panic button" for any pilot that is less that 6 years old. When pressed in low sec this button summons the entire CONCORD fleet to deal with ner do wells who might be in the system and immediatly make it 1.0 space.
This button can only be used every 10 minutes.

CCP comes to the conclusion that improving the servers only halts the lag at best, and works on ways for allainces to wilfully fight wars without coalitions.
Or they give my wyvern 3 more highslots with 5 launcher hardpoints and a range+dmg bonus for heavy missiles and also a 300% bonus for warp scramblers.

srsly, i already got everything i could ever dream about in just 1!! Patch. sorting items by meta lvl (hurray for lootselling) 1.5 million skillpoints AND all learnings at 5 from now on. the noctis... could there be more?!
on a serious not, i noticed on http://incursion.eveonline.com/en/incursion/waronlag in the top there is a BLACK harbinger on the sign/graph
maybe its navy tier 2 Battlecruisers

You can't be serious . That's not black, it just fits the colour sceme of the whole page. Let me explain what a Christmas present is, it's a GIFT for EVERYONE, so either it will be some fun but essentially useless item that will last for a short time then become redundant (like we had snowball launchers), or it will be some thing that benefits everybody equally.

No offense, but your idea was even worse than CCP Nozh's heavy handed "revamp" of motherships (that eventually got reverted to the original revamp idea). You can argue the merits of capitals and super capitals all day, but making them suck, to be a burden and a pain in the ass that no one wants to have isn't a solution either.

Unless i've read this wrong when we do the incursions we are going to get LP for concord. So my guess is we are going to get maybe some kind of extension to faction warfare but you can join concord and become a copper to fight the sanash professionally. Which will give us access to concord agents and the concord LP store which will have some nice new shiny ships for us to fly.

You want something epically cool? With the recent smashup partnership of Valve TTG and PA i'm almost tempted to believe that EA and CCP might say: 'What the hell?' To help promote ME3 and get ME2 revved up again they're importing the Normandy SR-2 as a concord cruiser gain-able through the incursions. And that ME2 will have downloadable content introducing a eerily similar plot to the Sansha Chain. It'll involve space combat! You'll have control of the Normandy!
Note the ship in question: The SR2 especially upgraded is one of the toughest ships you'll ever come across ;)
Note that this is all pure rampant what if class speculation. I doubt any of this would happen.
However i wasn't sure Poker Night At the Inventory was going to be so friggin hilarious.

You want something epically cool? With the recent smashup partnership of Valve TTG and PA i'm almost tempted to believe that EA and CCP might say: 'What the hell?' To help promote ME3 and get ME2 revved up again they're importing the Normandy SR-2 as a concord cruiser gain-able through the incursions. And that ME2 will have downloadable content introducing a eerily similar plot to the Sansha Chain. It'll involve space combat! You'll have control of the Normandy!
Note the ship in question: The SR2 especially upgraded is one of the toughest ships you'll ever come across ;)
Note that this is all pure rampant what if class speculation. I doubt any of this would happen.
However i wasn't sure Poker Night At the Inventory was going to be so friggin hilarious.
Anyway Fuel on the fire! ^_^
Weeeeeell... Just for the sake of discussion... If the normandy was to live in Eve with eve rules then it would utter garbage. Fixed forward firing gun? Shields that stop only physical projectiles? Admittedly it would be basically unkillable by missiles, but it would still be a frigate sized ship, perhaps destroyer sized with few defenses.
On the other hand, if the normandy brought with her the real(ish) world physics her universe lives on, it would basically kill anything in eve, with the possible exceptions of capitals, and that's only because it'd take more time and ammo than the ship could store in one go. No top speed? Railguns that actually do the damage the railguns are supposed to do? lasers completely ineffective except at very short range?
That said, in either case, if Shepard is on board when the normandy lands in new eden, we're better off directly bowing to our new overlord, just in case Shepard has gone the renegade route and wants to SHEPARD PUNCH us into submission. And in any case sanshas, all major criminal cartels, sleepers, obscure yet to be found (or found AGAIN) civilizations are soon going to be doomed. Jovians, I'm looking at you. Hiding behind not working gates? Shadily manipulating the galaxy? Shepard is watching you.

They will impliment some kind off skill that you can train , that boosts your training speed on other skills when it's done.
That or they will introduce some sort off "queue system" when training skills, like you put a 19h skill in there and then mabye a 3day skill?

Either close down the Jovian border again, i mean come on.
Everyone from Empire have buggerd off over here too escape the incursions, and when CCP added the Jovian Navy (read Concord on steriods) it kinda ruined the fun.
So yeah close down the borders, or remove the the Jovian Navy and make it null-sec once more.

Here we go, flux capacitor works like it should now, and i'm indeed posting from the 28th of November the year 2010.
Redesign off the JF's.
JF's will be able use an "Industrial Jump Drive", this means that your alt or Mate, sits at a gate (in highsec) and relays that Gate's coordinates to you. (via a Industrial Jump plotter mod)
You in turn lock onto that gate and *poff* you just jumped a JF into highsec baby.
This would solve the problems off "NO DON'T ALLOW CYNOS IN HIGH FFS"
Well i hope the elfs at CCP has had this in mind

In the interest of keeping the source secret, I have stripped all Eve Mail headers out, content follows;
To help with some boring activities, such as mining, we will be replacing your normal ship crew with convicted criminals. This should provide you with much needed excitement and pleasure when undertaking the more mundane tasks.
The Hulk skin will be replaced by this. This is currently planned as a 'holiday change' that will last 2-3 months, however we may extend it based on user input.
Lasers will be rebalanced to now deal Kinetic damage, with Missiles now dealing EM exclusively. Hybrid ammo will be adjusted to have explosive damage replace their kinetic damage. There are no plans for adjusting projectile ammo. (We don't buff slaves.)
New ship type revealed: The Mothership, Reborn! Players will now be able to obtain the new class of motherships. They will be roughly 1/4 the size of a standard planet and can be used to harvest humans form the surface for the (upcomming) biomass trade. Players will also be able to "hitch a ride" on these ships, meaning that you may take a support fleet with you, assuming the ship array has the space. Current mineral requirements are not finalised, however expect it to cost 10-20 times your normal titan.
Artist Rendering.
By popular demand, we will now allow pod pilots to deploy an 'anti-cloak' pos module. The module works by sending pulses of charged particles in a random and (mostly) harmless fashion, meaning the cloaking system found on modern ships will be unable to correctly adapt in time, resulting in a critical failure. This effect doesn't know the difference between friend and foe, so all cloaking devices will be disabled. You may set the interval it will pulse, with a slower pulse consuming less fuel. Current fuel plans are to use biomass from reprocessed corpses or the new harvesting feature from the mothership.

Yes quite possibly the reason you're hated by many; the veterans anyway. At the time I was only a miner and the proposed changes caused carrier builders to halt production which led to a huge drop in the value of minerals. My only skill in the game at that time suddenly was hugely impacted. Not to mention I wanted to get into a pvp-capable carrier. Now my toiletseat thanny just sits there doing nothing because it cant kill anything if it tried. Sure it's a nice ship RR-wise but considering Carriers IRL are the most deadly thing around... I am very disappointed still.

ah, i found it. Point your sisi triexporters at res/dx9/models/ship/special/science/pes4.
it's in the same subdirectories as the zephyr and primae, if that means anything...but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a player flyable ship

Hmmm "science" folder eh? Sounds to me like the Science ship that the F&I forum has been asking for since ... well along time.
Bonuses to Hacking? Arch? Gas mining perhaps?
I would also wager from the look of the folder that, like the primae, it will be a one time gift ship. Pretty ... but probably for station spinning only.
Just my guess.

Its a mobile cyno jammer interdictor, with thousands of kilometers of range.
The bulge in the front is where the interdiction hardware is housed.
Now all we are missing is the anti-capital t2 cloak Stealth battle cruiser.

This would be awesome. The time it takes to scan systems vs. the chance of a good reward just doesn't make it as profitable as it should be.
Plexing is TONS OF FUN in highsec sometimes anyways.

All new accounts will have no skill points allocated. A new account will be given 1.6 mil skillpoints to allocate as you like in the skill bank.
This will lead to everyone else getting another 1.6 mil skill points added to skill bank along with their reimbursement of learning skill points.
