Are there any plans to do something to sort out insta cloaking after jumping through a gate or something, perhaps even something as simple as a 1 sec activation delay after uncloaking from the gate?

I was wondering if you have thougth about the aparent lack of npc ships in space apart form the ocational hauler outside stations. im not refering to npc pirates here, im refering to the fact that the only wessels traveling space today are player ships. how about adding npc ships of the sivilian type to travel space and ocationaly give a escort mission. it would in my wiew add a little more life to the universe. cant imagine it consuming that much resorses if you do it cleverly and dedicated. the sivilian element in eve is realy not there. we all pilote military ships today, with the exeption of ore. how about bringing in a little more diversity.

Q: When will interdictors get some loving? How at this time do you see them being loved?
For example the Gallente dictor (Eris) is rather lol-wot. Two mid-slots on a ship designed to tackle, and at least one of those slots is always taken by MWD (ALWAYS fit an MWD in 0.0, and this is a ship that can only use its special function [bubbling] in 0.0 by game design) and depending on who you talk to it should also have AB fitted. What e-war can it fit then, or even cap regen gear? Also bonuses for the Eris, which is an immediate clue to never make these, let alone fly them:
Destroyer Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret falloff per level 10% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret tracking speed per level
Interdictors Skill Bonus: 5% bonus to Rocket and Light Missile thermal damage per level 10% bonus to Interdiction Sphere Launcher rate of fire per level
/Missile/ damage bonus. Not a hybrid turret bonus methinks. |

Are you thinking of changing the way suicide gankers simply cash in on the insurance after CONCORD blows up their ship (so effectively getting free ships every time)?
The universe is a harsh place, so why do suicide gankers get their money back from insurance companies after breaking the law in hisec and getting CONCORDed? To me a simple solution would be that insurance companies will not pay out if your insured ship was destroyed by CONCORD.
If this would be too much of a hassle to implement a line of code to check if the ship was blown up by CONCORD or not, instead of breaking/fixing insurance it might be an idea for CONCORD to FINE the aggressors for a response by CONCORD?
To me this way gankers have to actively scan for juicy targets (and not just blow up stuff for lolz/tearz) which might make up for the lost isk in having their ships blown up and getting fined by CONCORD for wasting their time (which would have been better spent eating donuts and drinking coffee).

About running reactions:
This seems such a core part of EvE; the best reaction to run changes from week to week.
Why can only the 'Starbase Config Editor' change the labels on silos? This presents a problem for our corp and many others that run personal POS's.
If we can permission up, anchoring, online, offline, production access, tab access; why can we not change the labels instead of anchoring 35+ silos and having to stretch the EvE client accross 2 monitors vertically every time we need to change the links? I came, I saw, I downloaded. |

Why will you not up the drone bandwidth on the Proteus T3 to allow it to field 5 heavys (as no-one uses the drone mod as it is gimped compared to gila/ishtar (as sentry II is better for insta DPS and you cannot field 5 sentrys or 5 heavys). I came, I saw, I downloaded. |

Some questions and suggestions: 1. Is it possible to have a blog where players can do suggestions and the developers of eve are checking at it? In the German forum there is a section, but none of eve is looking at that. Senseless. 2. PVP: I want more small scale and 1:1 PVP. Is there a possibility to open zones, where it is not possible to interrupt fights with carriers, that stops the small scale fights immediatly? One further possibilty are agents offering missions on 1:1 fights or 5:5 fights with different small fleets for example max. Cruiser or 5 frigs versus 5 frigs or 5 frigs versus 3 Cruiser or whatever. This could be part of faction war and the winner will get a bonus and lp. This fights can be in Highsec or Lowsec or in special zones. 3. PVE missions: There are too less lvl 3, 4 and 5 missions. Every missionrunner rescued the damsel 50 times...yawn... I think, lvl 1 and 2 is enough, every player will get as soon as possible to the higher levels. OK, and here are some possibilities like short storys, getting to different agents with different tasks. Another part is the nerf with the agents. OK, with the change to the new system eve want to dezentralize the mission runner to many different systems. But why only fighting agents, transport and mining agents? And why no Quality and less skills? May be there is a possibility to change the system to get the agent to a better quality with higher standing? This part is really poor in eve and there are so many things to make it better. A lot of player want missions, not only to make ISKs (the veterans do it only for ISK, because ist repeating on and on). Special bountys or escalations would be fine as well like the cosmos agents, I want much more creativy. 3. Anomalis and discoveries: Same as missions, please more content and differnet anomalies. And may be some more of them with different tasks and different bountys. May be not so much ISKs, there is too much money in eve anyway. May be there will be in the future discoveries on planets and moons, special hidden belts, stations or structures, comets, nebulae or dark planets spawning, which must be scanned? And for this you need skills? 4. Skills: With more content there should grow the amount of useful skills. Young player have the possibility to specialize and getting good in one part and older players can make more things like now. You see, I want more content. Is this possible? 5. Ships and all the parts of ships: I do not understand the segmentation of the parts. You have Tech I and Meta 1-4, after that Meta 2, and then the items from the shops and the officer items. A player can only produce Meta 1 and 2 and some special items dropped. Is it possible to change this? Tech 1 Meta 1-3 most of the players do not use. Tec 2 and Meta 4 is mostly near the same. There is a lot of space for improvements. What do you mean about this issue? Ships: T1 - T3: There are Ships only T1, most with T2 (a lot of cruisers and frigs) and one T3 (Cruisers). This is not too bad, but may be there are some possibilities for further enhancements (Modules for more slots for example or whatever)? IsnŠt it consequent to have all ships T1 - T3 ? T3 equipment with production?

1. what about other graphical improvements like *cool looking* ship explosions that are random and stay for several seconds for a battleship, new weapon effects, new damage effects and SHIELD EFFECTS?
2. what about sound? The sound in eve is terrible. 425mm autocannons sound like a little machine gun when it should be *BAM BAM BAM BAM*
3. what about line of sight and clipping for weapons? Friendly fire would add a big improvement for pvp and maybe also nerv blobbing in 0.0 a bit. You actually have to think before activating your weapons.
4. why does eve not have a proper path finding algorithm? Every little compuer game has at least a basic pathfinding but in eve, all NPCs fly against asteroids like if they are blind. This should also be added to the players ship, but thats not so important. NPCs first!
5. why are missions not dynamic but all the same all the time? There are so cool ideas like interrupting a big fight, wingmen that you get if you dont have other players, real escort missions, real attack a transport missions - not this bull**** when you warp into the mission, the transport does not even try to move to his target destination and so on.
6. why are anomalies so static and uninteresting, when they could be dynamic with cool random (hard) events?
7. why does counter ECM not work properly? Its imposible to counter a falcon, even if you want to.
8. what about the balancing of the falcon and drake? Is this under WIP?
9. why do missiles come out of the center of a ship and explode inside the center of a ship? Is there somone working on this?
10. Asteroid belts look boring and stupid. Why are there no real asteroid belts that are huge and wide and have realistic forms instead of this "u-form" with a radius of about 20km. Will this be changed one day?
11. what about the remodelling of these ships: Tempest, Moa, Aeon, Maelstrom, Loki (has some of the uggliest subsystems of all T3), Dominix, Raven, ... (in fact its time for a remodelling of all ships but i think these should have highest priority).
12. why not give different ammunition (every type) different graphic effects (while you are redoing the effects anyway)? This way it would look cooler and it would be more tactical if you know what damage the enemy does. Maybe give the 4 different damage types a specific color ID and if you do 50% kinetic and 50% thermal, the effect has a 50% kinetic color and 50% thermal color. Also i think the effect system should be dynamic that means that a 425mm autocannon projectile should be double as big as a 220mm autocannon.
13. please let me know why in a mission NPC waves simply pop out of nowhere instead of warping into the mission like ALL OTHER ships in eve have to do so? I know CCP is master in destroying immersion, but hell, this is already possible for belt rats, so why not in missions (and wormholes)? I dont get it...
14. what about a complete sound overhaul like in freelacer, where you can hear the docking personell telling you "Your docking request has been granted" or "Please stand by, you have now access to the docking bay 12" or at the gate from a random concord officer "your cargohold has been scanned for illegal wares, but our check has found nothing. Sorry for the interruption" or what about pirats "enemy ship spotted" or "Here is nothing of interes for you, please turn by, or we have to shoot you" "we warned you, now you will die!". Man there is so much that you could do... if it annoys people, make it optional in the settings and all are happy.

Q: When will web-drones work? When will they web within 10km range of themselves (as a 'for instance') and then close to the optimal of 1 or 2 km that most drones sit at? When will they be able to use web while MWDing?
I mean, they _work_ ... for a given value of work. They just cannot tie down something that's quick and (probably) using MWD though. Think battleship trying to swat that pest using the drone tools he's got on hand.
Drone MWDs up to target. Drone drops out of MWD, goes to web... "Say what? Target is gone!!?" Out of range, nearly instantly due to speed difference between MWDing target and no-longer MWDing drone. "It was right in front of me a moment ago when I dropped MWD!!" MWD after target, rinse and repeat.
Pilot: grngrngrngrngrng (from grinding teeth)

My corp was having a discussion on this the other day and no one had and answer so I am asking it here.
When do Wormholes actually show up in space? Do they actually exist before they are scanned down or must they be scanned first? When they do spawn, do the entrance and exit spawn at the same time or does someone have to warp threw the entrance before the exit is scan-able in the destination Worehole?

Take you pick of my questions
Will I ever be able to change the name of my character? Not that I want to but it comes in the forms so offer it would be nice to get a clear "NO NEVER!" or "YES in 2025". Many other games have it, you could charge RL cash or ISK and have one name change chance.
Would you ever considir incorporation tools like EFT or EVE MON into eve. So I can set up a ship a view its attributes before buying it or having the skills for it and I can use the required skills for that ship to hit one button and add the to my queue.
There was a beautiful bug way back when extra stars were added to the sky to represent the nearby solar systems. The bug would cause the names of constellations and systems to appear over the stars in the sky when not in map view. This looked amazing. Any chance it could be made a feature?
WeÆre getting new turret effect YAY!! can we get new missile effects? Like seeing the missile leave the ship instead of just appearing outside the ship then blasting off?
Will there ever be NPC haulers that transport stuff for you the current system of using players simply does not work? Or is there anything planned to revamp the hauling contract system in EVE.

1) What is the storyline / game immersion rationale behind the Dominion-installed sovereignty-related re-occurring taxation on null-sec entities? How is a primarily high-sec entity (Concorde), whose only practical and visible influence on null-sec is ratting bounties and the rating of "DED sites," able to monitor and enforce such high tax rates?
I understand the need for ISK sinks in the game, but the current costs of claiming Sovereignty and upgrading a system are not believable when looking at the game's over-arching stories and themes (and the clearly misleading "sandbox" description).
2) Why does it take so long for the QEN reports to be released after a quarter has wrapped up? How many person hours go into the research, data analysis and publishing of the reports? What percentage of pre-determined analysis queries are run against the database as compared to newly contrived investigations?
3) Why, when patches are released, are there so many undocumented but obvious changes to the game? Are developers not working to-plan and inserting their own, untested changes? Are the project team member(s) writing the patch notes not doing their jobs properly? Or are these intentional omissions by CCP?
4) Aside from the sorely mistaken "Quantity over Quality" study findings, why does CCP continue to attempt to release new content rather than work to refine and innovate with the current game mechanisms and content? Yeah, team BFF is nice, but a bit late to the game.
5) What is CCP's exit-strategy and timing for selling off the EVE IP and making a boatload of cash for its primary investors and principal employees?
6) What is the technical reason for those infernal "session change" timers associated with gate jumps, station docking events, fleet position changes, etc.? If there is no technical justification for those timers, then what is reason for their existence?
7) Why is the changing of energy weapon crystals instantaneous v. the 10 second delay for the changing of ammunition magazines for every other weapons system? What makes inserting a new magazine of ammunition so much different than swapping in a new crystal?
8) What happened to the "treaty system" mentioned during the period of time just prior to the release of the Dominion expansion?
9) What is being done to fix the ever-present "hey there are neutrals on the field" bug whenever a fleet (from small-to-large) experiences a session change through the use of a titan bridge, jumps a cap fleet to a cyno beacon or jumps sub-caps through a gate?
10) Why is CCP choosing this point in time to answer the hundreds (thousands?) of questions in this thread that were likely posed and left unanswered in countless previous threads? Is there serious developer bench-time? Is the new community manager trying to make a mark?
11) By what guidelines do CCP personnel operate when it comes to contributing meaningful content to threads that they either spawn or that address their area of expertise?

The upcoming release of Incarna introducing the Captain's Quaters has been aimed to introduce new players to eve universe. However what will you provide the existing player base. Will the existing player base get the same or will they be given the opportunity to customise their own captains quaters.
In the near future will all players be able to walk around their own ship's, capusel, Hangers, POSs, labs, assembly plants and etc.
Anyway what can you tell us.

en for a old timer as me,gonna alter the use of deep space probes so that we can hunt afk cloackers.so we get some exitment back in the game , blob warefare is booring and the russians take everything over , supercaps are overpowerd . and messing up the gameplay for alot of people who remember de hours of pounding on a station to take it --- we need the small fleet battles again and a anti afk clocking device-probe -jammer

It would also be awesome to have the ability to delegate permissions by the pilot rather then the roll.
For example, I Live in WH space, and it's tough to recruit because we all share the same corp hanger. The fear of theft stops us from recruiting and from people wanting to join us. It would be sweet if our CO could delegate "Corp Hanger 1, General Tab" to "Player X", and "Corp Hanger 2, General Tab" to "Player Y"
Are there any plans for implementing something like this?

With all the fuzz going on about Incarna and CQ, it's awefully quite about PI. Considering CCP wishes to integrate Eve and Dust through PI it seems quite some more work needs to be done on PI. Could you give us some hints on your roadmap and plans in regard to PI and Dust integration in general?

The current overview filtering by relationship is very difficult to use properly.
For example, if I ONLY want to show war targets, I also have to show neutrals and bounties and other criteria that have to overlap since it's "Intersection" based logic to show whoever meets all the criteria.
I'd like to see the overview filters work by INCLUSION and EXCLUSION - so that I can show ALL neutrals, and then exclue any corp members/alliance members/fleet members that are neutral to me by standing - but meet other criteria.
Do you think something like this could be implemented?
As of right now, to show ONLY corp members is impossible without also showing neutrals or blue standings and bounty standings and.. and... and which basically throws a whole bunch of other people in your overview that should be filtered out. ____________________________________________________

My question is about corporation lab/industry job permissions.
Is there any change to get 'em fixed so, that CEO may let members have access to manufacture/research/copy corp blueprints without them having access to cancel other members lab/industry jobs?
...and if so - here is suggestion for fix:
Would be really nice and constructive to get this changed so, that there would be 3 portal access level;
Top level access level: - May install corp jobs - May cancel corp jobs installed by anyone - May deliver finished corp jobs installed by anyone
Mid level access level:
- May install corp jobs - May cancel corp jobs installed by himself - May deliver finished corp jobs installed by himself
Low level access level:
- May look active corp jobs but not install, deliver or cancel anything
This change would mean a lot to many corporations and hand tools for CEO's to start building much more open industrial corporations.
I hope that you agree...

Giving the overwhelmingly positive reception of the GM events leading up to Incursions, is CCP finally willing/able to reintroduce the MMO element to its long brother the RPG?
On a related note: Low-sec is tired of being the redheaded stepchild that inherited all the bad genes and but a few of the good. Is low-sec ever going to matter?
On a similarly related note: Factional Warfare has become one of the main outlets for what remains of RP in Eve. Is CCP ever going to get around to actually making it all it can be and not just a glorified mission hub?
On a not at all related note: Communication. Communication. Communication. We want/desire/crave more blogs, at least those that are promised .. most recently the follow-up to anomaly changes and faucet control.
