Ladies, gentlemen, and Amarrians. It gives me enormous pleasure, not to mention relief, to say to you once again:

It's Clear Skies 3 
The new website front end has the link to the main download site on Eve Files, all hail Chribba for once again risking his site to host this monster 
If you enjoy the thousands of hours (and the ú3000 I spent on software and equipment this time!) I put into making CS3, I've set up a cheeky PayPal donate on the front page of the website as well 
I will experience a warm glow if you donate, and I will feel loved. Also, JR can use the money to buy a new top wingy bit 
Thank you all for your patience, I know this took longer than expected to create, but when you watch it, I think you'll understand why.
The film is rather large at 2.13Gb (sorry Chribba!), but that is due to the high def 1080p 5.1 surround nature of it all, at a bit rate that makes it look very nice. I figured you lovely people wouldn't want anything less :) It's in WMV format as that's the most playable out of the box on the average computer, but if you have any problems the
K-Lite codec pack
should be able to sort them out - it plays fine on my old XP machines with that installed.

downloading it since i liked clear skies 1+2
but why do you use .wmv as format its crap really...
when you already invest that much money you surely could get your hands on Avid or Final Cut and with those you could get much better results using quicktime as format with h264 codec which is a professional standard for HD broadcasting and you would not get a larger file in the end as well... and nowadays any computer can play quicktime movies, while many MAC users would not be happy with .wmv files.

Like with Silas this one will have to be watched a couple of times before i can fully comprehend it but i have to say i truly enjoyed it,and the fact that it is deeper then your previous movies is something that will assure that even more people will remember it,and watch it over and over again.
If this truly is the last one you will make i will be sad,but its still a perfect ending for the show,and i hope you will find other ways to keep using your talent

Holy crap. After watching this movie it makes me want to fall on my head and lose the last couple of hours of my memory so I can watch it for the first time again. So damn cool.
Sad thing is, it's now 03:17 in the morning and now I can't sleep anymore (usually happens to me when I see cool stuff or cool stuff happens to me). Lucky for me I don't have to work tomorrow. |

Needless to say this **** is pure win.
This is what (real, like, Hollywood) movie makers need to do. This thing has more emotion, humor and proper settings than most big ass studio productions. You should honestly be paid proper money for this. And it should be shown in theaters. CCP, if you guys don't show this at Fanfest...

Just finished watching the the movie - John Rourke is a genius I wondered if he could do it a third time but imo it just gets better and better - in fact this movie was better than many of the "real" films I've seen lately. Many thanks to the production team!

You knocked the ball out of the park and into bloody orbit. That was amazing. I never imagined you'd be able to achieve that level of visual detail, and the effects work you did is little short of astonishing. And it came bundled up with the humor and heart we've come to expect from Clear Skies.
Well done, and I can't wait to see what's on the other side of that wormhole in CS 4. :)

Word's simply fail me, that was simply brilliant there aren't enough superlatives to describe it, the amount of work that must have gone into that must be staggering but by god the end result is nothing short of epic. I really was not sure if you guys could maintain the quality of the previous episodes but not only have you maintained them you have significantly improved on them.
I for one look foward to Clear Skies 4, because you're just too good at this not to make another!

Really good. Best one yet, much more cinematic. From about 20 mins in there is some great work from your DoP and some nice editing. The guy who voiced 'Ghost' ties the acting all together for me, nice improvement getting actors involved. You can really tell how much you've come along with your production in this one, its much more polished. Looking forward to see what you can achieve with the next one.
You and your team should be proud of yourselves.

Not because the ending made me cry (excellent though it was), but because somebody (JR, and co.) made this for all of us, in the hope that we would like it, and put it up for us because they're proud of it. Loved the movie, Most definatly the best machinima (series) i've ever seen :D
my only critique would be that the pace of the movie at times was just a bit fast. Could also be because I was pretty tired when I watched it, and then everything seems to go too fast.  In any case, Great movie, it had some great jokes in it too that i'm sure will cross into the EVE mainstream :D

Really big thank you not just to you JR, but to everyone who helped make the whole series. When people ask what my favourite film is, Clear Skies gets mentioned. It got humour, good storyline, good visuals and superb voice acting.

This is almost like waiting for sequels to great movies and games like Lord of the rings, Halflife etc;
Ive watched clear skies 3 and are both happy and a bit miffed cause it was a great watch, but I dont want it to end! |

When I started eve I was linked Clear Skies the second day of playing, and the second episode came out soon after that. This feels like it have gone full circle whit this third episode and seeing it now totally made my day. ItÆs awesome.
I keep linking your videos to new guys, I keep telling ppl to watch these videos and I watch them over and over again myself. Thought I hope there will be more of Clear Skies in the future.
THX for the vid mate, thx for the vids. And hope you and your team feel like making more videos in the future, cuss I sure as hell will look out for them.

Its nice to know that it wont matter at what page count I post at, posting in this thread is awesome.
CS1 set the tone, CS2 took it up to where it was supposed to be and from what I understand CS3 will bring it to the end (of the universe).
Cant wait to watch this, JR and his team have true dedication and if there is something you need when doing long, story driven movies its, besides time and the obvious talent, a freighter load of dedication and patience because it really is extremely hard work.
I never sent you that evemail with my out most admiration for part 1 and 2 so consider this something of what that would have been like.
Only with more kladdkaka.
Will comment more after watching.

Just finished watching.
Easily better than many motion-picture films out there.
I can't fathom the amount of personal investment you put into your work, sir, but it's safe to say every one of us can definitely recognize how much it shines through in the quality of your masterpieces.
When my next eve sub comes round, I'm putting an extra 10 bucks in the paypal account with your name on it. I never donate to anything, but your trilogy is worth more than a ticket to my local movie theatre, and I had best put money where my mouth is, and I encourage everyone who agrees to do so too.

Epic finale! There is something very satisfying about the conclusion to this third episode.
I can't praise you enough. You've done a brilliant job introducing the characters, telling a set of explosive stories and putting it to bed tied in a pretty little bow.
If I had my way you would get a option to buy shares in Echelon Entertainment along with a real T-Shirt and pin. Really, the work you've put in is staggering and should be rewarded.
I'd love to see you do more work in the EVE universe in the future, perhaps in partnership with CCP Loxy's team and their superbly rendered models.
I know it will be hard to leave the series Clear Skies at that since you've put so much of yourself into it but I can't help feeling that it has come to a natural conclusion. You've done exceptionally well and should be proud.

Heh! I didn't notice that first time through, Ceq. It's as much an Eve reference though - there's a huge Black Monolith in the Dead End system, near Eve Gate - been there for years. :)

Awesome mate. i loved it. well worth long day at work and to come home to a good film. so many good moments. get into proper films already. Seriously when your sorted i hope you can do a full graphical film for eve. i will say the halflife2 engine is looking a tad dated now thats for sure.

Btw. I have one question: What audio codec was used in this movie? Because I can't play it on tv (playing it from external usb harddrive). Other movies plays ok, but when I tried to play CS3 it could not load audio.

Amazing work, John/Ian. Really. I've been looking forward to this for ... well, ever since Clear Skies 2 in fact.
It's a shame to see the trilogy that wasn't supposed to be one to end, but, how did someone put it? All good things come to an end. Sadly, Clear Skies seems to be no exception. I can't even begin to imagine how much work this really was, loved all the humor (and the easter eggs! ) - best movie of the year for me, can't think of any competition
...

Never almost cried for a fanfilm before. Well, first time for everything.
Excellent, excellent work. Can't possibly convey my praise to you and your crew for what you've done. This is amazing. Better than dozens of movies I've ever seen, television shows I regularly watch, even some video games that I play (except EVE), and they're making millions.
Unfortunately, not 100% available to the general public, since you need to understand a bit about EVE before you watch it (specifically, Gallente-Caldari relations for CS2, and Sleepers, Jovians, wormholes, and gates for CS3), but still amazing. Those fleet fights are what drew me in, and then everything else just slides together perfectly. Well-oiled machine does not even come close to describing this.

tbh I'm more than happy to be a part of it, but it's really all thanks to the awesome community that make this possible (and we did some preparations of the release, so it wasn't unexpected). Just looking at the statistics makes me go \o/ for the community, and I also find it a very good "test" to see how my tracker code behaves under heavier load (so I am very pleased).

I only recently discovered your work when I saw the preview to CS3, ever since then I have become a huge fan and have eagerly awaited this last installment. After months (lol!) of checking your site and impatiently wondering when it was going to be done, the Intel channel let loose the good news. However I'm probably your luckiest fan, I only had to wait those few months! Good luck to your future in your new profession, but from personal experience, remember the ship you flew in on, hopefully you cared for her enough that she'll carry you home if needed... Indeed there are some engine codes spread across the films, not wanting to spoil the hundreds of easter eggs but Ians the Toyata man (hence Clear Skies being the MKIV Supra 2JZ-GTE), and i managed to squease in my R35 GTR's VR38DETT, along with other codes across the films, my old R34 GTR engine code should be pretty easy to spot if you watch the prison break sequence in CS2

Clear Skies 1 was great, Clear Skies 2 even greater. How do you top that?

You did it! When i saw that the download is 2GB i was a little shocked, but it was worth it. I watched it on a big TV and it actually felt like a movie that belongs there.
The first 2 didn't quite achieve that for me. I enjoyed them alot, but they were just machinima films. Something was missing - and still is. But you got ALOT better at making a good movie. The feel was right. I actually felt like i was watching an event happening in New Eden.

Really enjoyed the first two, the third one's quality and visuals just blow them away. Hearty congratulations on delivering this labour of love to all involved. The storyline is progressing well through the episodes, the Jessica engine just made the visuals far better too.
Awesome job.
Two suggestions: 1. If the original mo-cap files still exist for the first two episodes, would it be a long haul to upgrade them to the higher-quality in order to match the third? There's some potential here for a DVD release methinks.
and 2. I'm stunned at how few (even older) players have never heard of Clear Skies. Many don't frequent the forums, and the CS films aren't discussed much outside of the circles of those who already know about them.
An ad campaign to raise the playerbase's awareness of these gems would be a cool idea. Add links and short details to your bios people, perhaps the devs could add a message to the login page in the little advert window for a week or so too?
p.s. If CCP end up hiring this team, I hope they have the good sense to keep out of storyline and content decisions, the originality of these works should be left unspoilt by marketing goals, the same should go for any future works from this great team.

Epic ending to the series. I can't see there being more without external help which is a shame but I accept that. With external help, I dunno, Clear Skies spinoff series following Cormark, flying around in Harpy HULL: 4A-GE (I have an AW11) trying to solve the mystery of the disappearance of the Clear Skies... Who can say. It would need someone big enough to back JR doing this full time.
Speaking of which, I was discussing with my partner how the space scenes were filmed... She was thinking rendering in 3d studio but the render didn't look right, so I assumed they were rendered in the eve engine but many separate layers were overlaid on each other in Vegas to create the result. Any comment?
Also we need a count as to how much has been donated ;)

She was thinking rendering in 3d studio but the render didn't look right, so I assumed they were rendered in the eve engine but many separate layers were overlaid on each other in Vegas to create the result. Any comment?
Thanks and In answer to this, the Jessica engine was used (kindly loaned from CCP) for all the space scences allowing for all the scences to be setup and recorded directly, so no layering, all good old 3d rendering

Ah I did wonder what the Jessica engine was as it was listed on the website as being used, but Google told me nothing. I take it that is the same thing that was used for Day of Darkness II? I did have a funny feeling something like this may have been involved...

Just finished downloading, though unfortunately I won't be able to watch it til after work. You may want to check your eve files downloads, as the torrent gave me an error message saying bad encoded data and the direct download only gave a speed of around 40 kb/s download rate only to quit at around 5% saying the source file was unreadable. If it weren't for that mirror on page 11 I would've had to wait for it to show up on youtube, which would be unacceptable .

So hello all - I gather most of you liked it, for which I'm very thankful, what a relief
I read every one of your posts, I'm very grateful for all the positive feedback, it makes the couple of thousand hours effort worthwhile! And now to answer a few questions that have cropped up, in no particular order:
(warning - wall-o-text inbound!)
Why wmv?
Without going into a big rant, I personally tried and tested several h.264, AVCHD, MP4, mts, and m2ts codecs and variants thereof, and every single one of them had a problem of some sort - corruption artefacts, bad sound, lack of support for 5.1, or just plain lack of portability. WMV worked first time on a basic Windows XP install, had excellent quality, and the resulting filesize wasn't hugely overboard. And Vegas would render directly to it, so there was no interim processing stage and resultant loss of quality.
Also, I can't cater to the 0.001% of people who use some open source media player on a minority OS at the expense of the 99% of people who want to watch the video without any messing about whatsoever. If your player and OS don't support one of the most popular codecs in the world, perhaps it's time to upgrade
The list of 'dead' people
This is a list of all the people who donated me ISK ingame after Clear Skies 2. There are a couple missed off as that scene was finalised about a year ago, but the majority are there. It's my small way of saying thanks, the same reason people's avatars appears in CS2 as the at-risk population in Teskanen station. Although it's a bit of a continuity fault that Chribba was apparently saved but also gave his life hah
Overanalysis of fitting screens
I needed a nice picture, so I stripped my armour tanked Fleet Tempest and chucked in roughly whatever they were going to use during the film. I wouldn't read too much into it.
Canon
Clear Skies is only based on the Eve universe. It is certainly not a documentary or an accurate record of it. If you really need 100% accurate video footage of how Eve Online plays, I believe there are one or two videos of that already available
Stowage
It's a nautical term for where you store stuff, not a typo.
Random Trolling
Not everyone will enjoy the film, that's a given. I'm fine with that, I'd be an idiot if I wasn't. People are different and their tastes are different.
I can, however, recognise a troll comment when I see one, as I believe most everyone else here can judging by the responses to them so far! I'd just like to say that I'm confident in my work and I'm very happy with (and ever grateful for) the positive responses I've received over the years. If someone feels the need to get attention by trolling, well, sadly something must be a bit amiss with your life. I won't personally respond to troll comments. I think you all have it fully under control, thank you.
Hull designation engine codes
Yep, I'm a fan of Japanese cars. I of course have a Toyota Supra, hence Clear Skies' designation being 2JZ-GTE Each code sort of matches the ship it's on, e.g. Smith's ship is the Lexus V8, and the Ulysses titan flagship is the Lexus LF-A halo model
Exterior shots
Mostly produced with the Jessica engine, as kindly loaned to me by CCP themselves. Do not for one minute think that this made the spaceship stuff "easy" As I said to CCP Prawn about the author(s) of Jessica - "I've never so much wanted to shake someone's hand and punch them in the face at the same time before"
The gate battle in CS2 took 6 hours to film in totality. Generating one shot in Jessica that lasted a couple of seconds can easily take half of that  But of course, the end results were worth it!

Oh and I'm trying to get it on YouTube in HD as we speak, I'm rendering 6 separate parts so it fits within their 15 minute maximum, but it's a slow process because I'm on 12hr dayshifts at the moment so I'm hardly at home!
Also, YouTube is currently messing up the audio for no apparent reason, which is fun.
I will post here and also update the website once the YouTube vesion is in place.

Ah, therein lies a tale Some of my friends went to a convention for Veronica Mars down at the Thistle Hotel in London, hosted by the Starfury convention crew. While sat at a round-table discussion with my three friends, Francis happened to mention that he's a big WoW player (but don't hold that against him ) and he wanted to get into voice acting more. Ricky I met through his love of Machinima. I entered the original Clear Skies into an expo that he was running, and to say he liked it was an understatement - he got in touch with me and we've been friends since It was about time I got him involved, he's got a brilliant voice.

This is an amazing part. Certainly low your writing. All 3 parts are awesome. Any plans for part 4 in jovian space?
However i have few inconsistencies. You have stated that you use WMV for maximum compactability (i personally thing that WMV compactability is awful) however this time it did not end up well. With windows default codecs there is no sound. VLC also brings in no sound. So you must have used a quite new codec in your WMV ( i admit my VLC is old, i like the older design better). It did play good on Windows media player classic running K-Lite codecs pack so no problem there. Though i have noticed that in some parts i could see a latter being cut off at the left so its possible that the player cut off part of the video. or was that intentional (for example during the credits).

Ian, I think your work should be promoting this game with more films. CCP should provide you the means (technological, financial, manpower and whatever else you will need). If you say that CS is over, its ok with me, but I'm sure there are many other stories needing to be told (and starting to take shape in your head, I bet). Let them out. Give us an EVE adventure of quality, once or twice a year. You can: the tools are out there, it just has to be your job.

I used to subtitle anime. Its an arse as you have to time it all manually so the right words appear when people speak, then reencode with it in. The clear skies team has literally only just managd to get the audio balanced and scenes knitted together right before going gold so they have had no time to do that. I am sure someone will be doing subs soon.

***I pulled the .wmv file into my editing program, and it, too, was unable to properly decode the audio. (It sounded as if being played at -200% speed and with a significant pitch decrease. Just FYI: It might be an issue eminating from the way you encoded the audio, and YouTube may be unable to adapt.)
I was wondering: Are we free to use clips from this, and other "Clear Skies" films, in our own YouTube movies? (With all proper credit given, of course.)

Clear Skies 3 Review
Well I waited 2 loooooooooooooooooooooong years for this to come out. I was a huge fan of 1 and 2 which lead to me have the greatest expectations for Clear Skies 3.
Now that I have watched it I can say that it was not what I expected.
I expected a great eve films with some good audio and good story.
Instead what I got was was some of the best film making I have ever seen in my life. The story was incredible and so fitting. The voice acting was top notch and Music made me laugh and cry.
Clear Skies 3 is better than some of the multi-million dollar films, made by professionals.
I believe its up there with "Avatar" but that is just my opinion.
An incredibly film, worth the wait and a must watch for any eve player. It is as close to an official eve movie as you can get, if not better :)

Such an amazing series of movies.....Clear Skies 3 is simply amazing. I've never loved the fact that my main is pure Caldari
*tear towards the end......then "HOT DROP O'CLOCK!!!" gave me chills and crazy excitement. No other real life movies have made me feel the crazy range of emotions that the Clear Skies series do every time I watch them.
to you John Rourke/Ian....thank you for the amazing time and effort you have put into these projects and remind all of us how simply awesome this game really is

Man. I'm not sure what to make of the fact that I picked up on the Broken Arrow theme during that scene on the Proteus, or when you used Apocalyptica's cover of Fade to Black during the surrender scene, but those were two particularly awesome choices of music imo.
The Clear Skies trilogy has been utterly fantastic, and even thought I know there can't be a Clear Skies 4 (for obvious reasons), I sincerely hope this isn't your last undertaking in the film form, because you have serious talent there.
Congratulations on a true work of art Mr. Rourke.
Oh, and while the Clear Skies trilogy hasn't exactly been short of crowning moments of awesome, the Hot Drop O'Clock moment perhaps beats them all. That was amazing, I laughed out loud at that moment it was so good.

I am of the exact opposite opinion.
I thought the script was really one long plunge before landing flat on its face and it is painstakingly obvious that the writers ran out on ideas or got sidetracked by poorly conceived ideas on more occasions than just once. I wasn't not expecting something like a Gone with the Wind-script but when Clear Skies tries to basically be Firefly in EVE, the very least they could have done is to be consistent, not that it has ever been the strong points of Clear Skies.

I can't help but think about how stupidly long it must have taken to do some 10 seconds of this, let alone the whole thing, mostly by yourself. (I think the longest such project I've personally worked on lasted just under 2 months before I got burnt out and didn't want anything to do with it anymore.)
So really, really amazing that you've finished it and I enjoyed every second. There were some flaws, and the script was far from perfect (very clichT in parts), but tbh I could say that about most big budget movies anyway and it's more than made up for by what a masterpiece this is!

Consider this: You put out movie length, well.., movies every couple of years to universal critical acclaim while doing everything else an average joe does. Thats something most movie studios would love to be able to do. Well done!

Why does a shield tanked Pest have armor rigs on it? Also with an overdrive and nano to go faster the armor rigs slow it down....Just a hodge podge of mods without any real setup displayed in background around 20:00 when talking to the chick?

I must admit that i cried several times during the movie. Very well display of emotions and WIN. This can be called epic in terms of machinima and EVE related video content. Reading there probably will not be a fourth episode would be a waste of talent and contribution to the EVE community. Very well done Rourke. You belong to the great ones and deserve CCP's gratification in forms of a monument in EVE.
Also thanks to everyone that contributed to this production. You give this movie the awesome sauce aswell.

Thank you for your efforts on this I've now got it uploaded in 1080p on my YouTube channel with working sound. Well, there is a crackle here and there but it's not as bad as the wmv disaster was. I do find it comically ironic that I ranted about wmv being the most portable codec and then YouTube choked on it, thank you Karma
The audio was rendered into WMA Pro 11, which isn't excatly the most incompatible trainwreck ever Yes it's ahead of the curve a bit (well, it is for us XP users) but that's because it supports 5.1 surround. I know 5.1 is pointless on YouTube, but my primary platform isn't YouTube, it's the full quality download

Hired by CCP? Then it wouldn't be a fan movie and CCP would likely attempt to exert control over it. As such, I think it should remain a fan production. Now, with that said, if he were to, say, produce a DVD complete with some bonus features, I would pay for that. And hopefully, so would many others. And through that, he would be able to pay for his time.

Great Great GREAT! Great ending of the whole serie, i have always been a fan and i loved it!!! Many good emotionel parts, but none of them wasnt that strong as the gate fight in clear skies 2 imo. However there were a lot more of these parts in this one, so all in all its great!

I subscribed to Eve 2 years ago, finally overcoming my resistance to playing an MMO, after seeing the first two Clear Skies and thinking : 'Yes, I want to be in this world'
Brilliantly done, good to see part 3 finally released. :) The reason for their popularity is that Clear Skies are good stand alone sci-fi stories needing no prior knowledge of Eve or MMOs.
Unfortunately I think this has to be the finale, with the Clear Skies sailing off into the sunset (or wormhole) Its difficult to imagine a story beyond this, the best stories need an ending, rather than going on and on and ruining what made it popular in the first place.
Thank you John to and your team for the effort in bringing these movies to us.

The story is great, and I even recommend it to my real life friends.
If this would ever be released on DVD, I would be one buying it.

The first two were very fun to watch. This third one is freaking amazing! I can't believe how you seamlessly combined the 2 games, did the lipsync and made some extemely nice spacefights.

Absolutely brilliant, they get better and better and this one was a true bloody movie.
Really enjoyed it was well wroth the long wait.
sad to hear there won't be an other one, but it is most certainly understandable. anyway you can go on know knowing that you created something that will set the standard for a long time to come as I doubt anyone soon will match Clear skies.

Along with a metric ton of applause, I'd want to sent John Rourke and his crew a few bits of (hopefully constructive) criticism.
After watching CS3 several times (and finally understanding most of the dialogue properly, being a non-native english speaker), I have two points that could be handled better IMHO:
First, I loved what you did especially in the second movie with the music, setting the mood for the scenes it was accompanying. I somewhat missed it in the third, where the music sometimes was cut off rather sharply, which tends to pull me out of the immersion.
Second, the space fight scenes at the end, esp. the drone/fighter fights and the chase for the Proteus, looked a bit too fast-paced. Again I'm comparing this to my favorite scene from CS2, the gate-fight, where Clear Skies needs a whole lot of time to reach the jump gate, even with a MWD on. Looked a bit more realistic from here.
Even with these points of critique, I love all three movies, and this one is definitely a worthy conclusion to the series.
(Not that I would mind another episode, but being rather demanding in terms of good stories, it would need a solid justification for a return of the Clear Skies.)

Ian, thank you for a stunning conclusion to the trilogy, literally blew me away. You certainly upped the bar for anyone else attempting this. Who knows, maybe soon we can create machinimas with in-game characters? Of course we'd need a bit more than CQ but I think this could truly become one of the best features of the future WIS :
Now about the sofa... I now remembered where I got the idea that Eve definitely needs more sofas, it was your movies. So you better get to work CCP and make a "Clear Skies" Sofa available for incarna :P

I'd love to see more of this kind of thing, but I for one think that this wrapped up John Rourke's adventures nicely. Perhaps a new story arc with new characters next time?
Great job with No. 3 by the way..."It's hot-drop o' clock!" and the entire subsequent battle scene put a massive childish grin on my face throughout

I enjoyed Clear Skies 3! The ship models looked awesome!
I was one of the original players that showed my appreciation by making a donation after Part 1. I was laughing hard when I saw my Avatar Pic in Part 2 on the Briefing Wall (thanks for that).
However I didn't even know that Part 3 had been released. But thanks to CCP being clever enough to put it into the 'News Ticker Banner' that was scrolling across the 'Big Screen' in my shiny new Captains Quarters, I finally found out about it and got it downloaded... while sitting on my virtual Couch! LOL
BTW John (Ian)... the 5.1 Surround Sound was a very nice treat to hear on my HTPC!
I would like to say thanks making for Part 3 (along with all the people that helped), and take a well deserved rest in w-space!

Thank you all, as ever, for your kind and awesome words of praise. If it wasn't for the unbelievable level of support I've recieved from the community, the series would have ended at the first one. I'm very proud to have achieved all this and to be a part of Eve Online's lore, I'm honoured to have had the privilege to entertain all you lovely people, and the story I always wanted to tell has now finally been told.
While I still have the outtakes to make (coming soontm) I'm moving on to other things with regards to creative writing and so forth, so yeah, it's definitely over for the CS series. It's been an emotional 6 years or so, and even when I didn't enjoy it, I've enjoyed it
I might actually play Eve now. Question is.... how the hell do you undock? I've forgotten

Ian, I just wanted to say that this third and final instalment of Clear Skies was one of the most enjoyable pieces of fiction and story telling I've seen in a while and thank you to you and everyone else that helped you put it together.
I only came across it by chance as i had stopped playing Eve and checking the forums for about 8 months. About 2 weeks ago i was bored and messing around on YouTube and for giggles a typed in 'Clear Skies 3' just to see what would turn up. I was actually shocked to find that you had actually made another one and spent 3 hours watching it again and again.
Later on I decided to show it to a few of my friend who have never played Eve and they thought the whole series was awesome. A few of them have now started playing and I have also restarted my own subscription again. There's been alot of changes and I think I need a new graphics card.
congratulations on making a fantastic series and good luck in your future projects.
Btw, looks like I died helping to save the Teskanen so thanks for the little bit of immortality |

Sorry but words cant express how good this series is, absolutely brillantly done.. Feel very proud Ian, you should. There should be an award given for the production. It is just that good. Watched all 3 episodes like 5 times now and would recommend viewing to anyone.
