Sometimes all the pre-set and my personal overview settings disappear.
All of them. Ships, gates, stations, etc. Can be a bit awkward really.
A re-log seems to fix it, then rinse and repeat when needed. This is not a signature. |

after reassessing the update called oddyssy i cam to the following conclusion...
1. your timed icebelts will screw the entire eve population 2. the implementing of new tech 2 materials at the same time as the update is beyond stupidity 3. your gate jump is way over the top and seriously anoying 4. the autoscan...... WTF??? please atleast let me turn that damn thing off 5. do you really hate highsec dwellers so much?

Not only that, but my loot for the day has been drastically less profitable. The cans that I get seem to have junk in them, regardless of which kind I grab. |

I have issues with the launcher:
1. It does not remember my usernames. I have to type in the username every time. 2. I have to type in my character name now too every time I have a new IP (which is every day)
So instead of only having to type in the password, I now have to type in username AND password AND character name every single time I log in. That is super-annoying!
Of course I will not use the launcher anymore and start by directly calling the exefile.exe. Not sure if this was the intended outcome though  . |

New overview bug:
Sometimes some ships are appearing empty and without standings after jumps or undocks. I've also seen it reported that you can't activate weapons on them. I wish I had more details for you but like all of the other overview bugs it's pretty intermittent. Seriously though, we didn't need more overview bugs introduced while you still haven't fixed the other ones. -áMy (mostly boring) Youtube channel. |

This is an issue for the players that ship courier contracts around.
Journal, contracts tab: Courier contracts that have been completed/delivered are still mentioned in the "In progress - accepted by" section. And that makes looking for the ones you still have to deliver quite tedious. |

Opening the star map freezes my pc, sometimes locks up on loading, sometimes loads and locks up after a few seconds. Only thing i can do is reset pc with reset button.
Only happens with star map not system map, seems only happens in space not when docked.
Anyone got this issue?

Some small graphical issues:
- as reported earlier, sometimes the background is black - no stars, no stations, nothing - overview-window minimized into the neocom-bar two times without action from me, also the chat windows - jumped to a customs-office, could'nt move the camera - frozen - after jumping into the next system, it was working again
PC 1: Win 7/64 SP1 Phenom Quad, 8GB Radeon 6000 series, newest drivers
PC 2: Win 7/64 SP1 intel Core2 duo, 8GB Radeon 5000 series, newest drivers
had absolutely no problems before Odyssey.

Can provide some information about this two issues: Undocking to completely black space on some graphics cards: Happened to me few times. I was scanning extensively, possible has to do something with using the solar system map. Wjen you have black screen, open the map and then close it - everything should be back.
Low frame rate on some graphics cards: Had this issue only with one station in system adjacent to Motsu (cannot remember which one). After warping to another station the problem resolved by itself.
I'm using laptop, with NVidia GT130M Graphics card and Windows XP. |

Not sure if this is intended, but this problem started since you updated station environments. Is there really a need to update pretty much static picture 400 times/sec? There was similar issue with SC2 when it 1st released, result was several fried video cards. |

In the last 30 minutes of exploration I've found two of the new Data/Relic sites that would not despawn. They could be scanned down, no one was there when I arrived, yet there were no cans at all. Either they're not despawning or they're spawning without cans. Thanks! |

Is there any chance to fix broken contracts view? It shows all contracts, despite settings selected, also showing finished contract as expired, which complicates things even harder and is making lives of many people even more difficult (traders, haulers etc)

username problem is solved by setting the launcher NOT to auto-close, then once all your usernames have been entered it will remember them and you can turn auto-close back on. |

This only applies to anyone trying to launch Eve using the launcher and finding when clicking the desktop icon the launcher does not do anything.
Starting point; All computers running Windows 8. Successful update completed on my main games PC and working fine. Game client files copied to my Laptop over the network using cabled CAT5 connection. Game refuses to load and run using the launcher when launched on the laptop.
Fault finally traced; During the file copy from the PC to the laptop it seems some files for the launcher were not copied, this seems to be because Windows 8 deems them to be system files and should not be copied.
The file and folder layout of a working copy of the Launcher should be; \appdata \cache \Microsoft.VC90.CRT launcher
However in my case the folders \appdata and \Microsoft.VC90.CRT were missing.
Running the repair.exe program sort of fixes the problem but in a roundabout way, what it does is download an old version of the launcher and deletes the new version. Now when you try starting the launcher the now old launcher downloads the latest version and deletes the old version restoring all the missing folders and files needed to run correctly.
I have not discovered a simple fix for this other than running the repair program and letting it do its thing, I suppose you could just copy the missing folders over using a flash drive but it seems a defeatist way to achieve it.
BTW if the repair program ends with and error message donGÇÖt worry just check the launcher folder for loads of files if they are there than you have the old version of the launcher, just run it and it should download the latest version and restore everything back to working again. Good luck.

I'm seeing this issue too - same specs, although I see it with the discrete 9600GT card active too.
I saw this in Parallels before Odyssey (and everything else runs like a charm in Parallels) and now it's in the Mac client too, so I wonder if there's an OpenGLism going on here? |
