Your not the only one sufferng skillchange related anguish ATM, not one but two of my chars need skills changing. Im losing valuable minuits here! I know that CCP will soon get to the bottom of any problems, as they have so many times in the past, a little bit of downtime its nothing when compared to all the hours of fun this game gives.

From what I can find, the big group up happened, which was surprising. Hope CCP manage to get this sorted, i just got back from seeing My Chemical Romance and was up for a bit of missioning only to find that the server was down. Ahh well.

I donÆt think we know EXACTLY what happened yet.... I went through all the threads in the last hour or so and there is too much speculation and innuendo.
At this point the wisest thing would be to pop a can of beer open - put on a DVD of your favourite show and relaxà

I havenÆt seen æLostÆ - EVER, so I am going to go watch first 3 Episodes, people say its good.
But, I do hope that we would be posted and kept up to date as to the developments on this issue.
P.S. I have no skill up eitherà. It was supposed to end just as the server went kaput.

well, some of us cannot pick and choose when to play and plan our skills etc to suit. I will be losing almost 24 hours of training if the server does not come back up soon.
Regardless of CCP's decisions on 4S's punishment for this basic DOS attack on us, I will quite happily urge every game respecting corp to war them out of existance; the name change should be the least of their worries.
Carlsberg dont make Eve Pilots, but if they did, i wouldnt be one of them.

Eris you have any update after 1 hour, I would like to know if I have to go to bed or if I can change my skill ?
I know the guys do work on the problem , but normally someone know if that is a small or BIG Problem ..
would be nice to see an update here soon :)
Would be also nice if you think about a way to comunicate such problem so everybody can see them and dont hide ist under a Gerneral discussion ... situation in Jita ... I think that is the reason so many new threads poped up ... for me it is clearly an outage and therefore belongs in that topic

4s is something every serbian on this planet identifies with. ccp changing the name while not changing other names connected to nationality, military units etc is racist.

i cant work out why people get so wound up when the server goes down, im sure ccp will get it fixed when they work out whats wrong with it.. again i could be wrong but there must be something very complex to run a game such as eve and keep it running smoothly 24/7 365 cut them some slack it'll be sorted in a hour or so

Hehe, I have the exact same problem, should be doing calculus, but I'm sitting here pressing reload on the forum instead :p
Anyway, why can't i reply to this thread the normal way? Thread show as unlocked from the main forum, but show as locked inside the thread (without any reply/quote buttons)..
I had to manually enter http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=reply&threadID=245274 to reply...
.. oh.. relogging fixed it.. must be a bug somewhere in the forum code..

It's just some people...There are 42 people in local in Isaziwa. Im guessing its mainly a login problem

CCP are not the enemy in this case, this is purely the pre-meditated actions of 4S.
I am not angry at CCP for trying to resolve a messed up situation, but you better believe I am mad at 4S for taking a decision by CCP to change their name (and rightly so going from the previous posts) as an excuse for causing considerable distress to the gameplaying community.
Carlsberg dont make Eve Pilots, but if they did, i wouldnt be one of them.

Half of you guys are missing the point of the initial post. A corp intentionally did something to overload a node to cause instability issues in protest to a recent decision. Dont be mad at CCP. Be mad at the guys mentioned in the FIRST POST.... and the great thing is that you have the ability to exact reveng when you get back online.

I sincerely hope there will be permanent bans being issued for those involved in creating this fiasco. These people need to be made examples of that CCP will not tolerate vigilantism by the minority who threaten the infracstructure of eve every time they have a disagreement with the GM/Dev/Game Design decision BRING ON THE BANS 
Ps: I don't know about everyone else but i don't wanna play Eve-offline

Odd...i was playing then my game just crashed to the connect screen and i havn't been able to log back on and i was nowhere near Jita at least i think Ommare isn't near Jita

Obvious what happened. Several hundred ppl in shuttles warp into Jita and started copying 1000s upon 1000s of bms....................BOOOOOM goes the server.
