If you can't petition I believe the Devs said to put it through the Ask a Question page cause the Petition sytem is borked atm. I have met one or two Serbians and they are very freindly people and proud of their history and nation, I did not however call them all racist and denounce their nation.. so I'm not all together sure how you may find them in your future dealings.

Congratulations on screwing the pooch bigtime and offending way more people with a clueless bid for censorship than you ever would have by leaving them alone. Give 4S their corp name back. Learn to recognize when someone petitions not because they're offended, but because they want to screw with someone. Do the right thing before this spirals out of control.

Violated the ToS by maliciously causing damage to the game world. The latter remains to be proven, of course. A petition for a change back would have been a much more appropriate (and mature) solution. Everyone needs to keep in mind - While we are CCPs customers, the game is THEIR property, and THEIR responsibility to maintain. This situation proves how much CCP -cares- about their customers, not how much they disregard them. The ToS and EULA for any game are absolute and should be treated as such. --- Slavick: Define favorable outcome, CABAL. CABAL: THEY ALL DIE. Slavick: That'll do.

Actually just thinking about eve in general, in local, guild chat etc you will come across loads of similar names. Characters with names sounding like sienn fein (though normally spelt incorrectly) etc are running all over the place and other equally unsavory names. There also seem to be a fair number of corps which have names the same (or similar) to real life corps, we even have a corp modeled after a **** magnate for godÆs sake, where do you draw the line!!!! Bad move on two parts in my opinion, CCP I fell should not have renamed the corp, especially an estabished corp, I think CCP have to accept that they made a mistake with this. Equally however, if the node crash was caused (no this is not finger pointing!!!) by the 4s deliberatly crashing the node, that too is wrong and an example should be set to ensure that it doesnt happen again.

CCP lives in a Real world and there for cant use UELA rules to hide behind to discriminate against a group of ppl, you must remeber that UELA is just rules writen by game developers, while UN conventions were writen by world and accepted by world nations and we all have to abide by them. so UELA rules have no standing if they support racism. 4s is an internationaly accepted symbol by all countries in the world, and UN. so it is legal. for CCP to say it is offencive and in breach of UELA is total hughwash. Guess what CCP, YOU ARE IN BREACH OF UNATED NATIONS(UN) CONVENTIONS!!!!!! so lets stop pointing fingers and give the guys name back. there is no courage to denay you made a mistake, but courage is in admiting one and corectin it, that is the only way to harmony.

Buy what has actualy happened teacher (CCP) goes and punishes the child infront of everbody, and child (4s corporation) dosent know what he did wrong, so he is traumatised. so we can conclude from this that CCP has clearly punished one side without hearing their story, so there for it was clearly biesed ( unfair) in its decision as it wasnt informed one. 4s corporation has clearly lost lot of face in eve comunity due to alegations which have n0t been proven, and clearly will have suffered . so CCP give the name back because you have done more damage already than the actual name has ever caused.
