Well I am still on atm though I think it appears to be a login problem as long as yuo were in when the server went pete tong you were fine.
In regards to what caused it all I will say is people should be patient no use jumping to conclusion when there is only marginal evidence about what happened.
If players have been responsible I am sure the devs will deal accordingly if it is due to server issues you only need to look at the dev blogs to see that the devs are trying to sort out the situation with the various changes planned.

omg I am going to try and be the voice of reason and i am not going to mention my opinion of the 4s fiasco, But today we had extended downtime and some behind the scenes tinkering. Normally when this happens anyone with any sense runs skill training with a long time for a reason. Not to mention how stable and 100% rocksolid the server has been running lately. Now I am sure 4s did not help the situation but lets put the nooses and burning torches away till we get an offical comment from a dev. And of course the devs will say somthing eventually because the will not use 4s as an excuse for the servers going kaput again because somone spilt beer in them or pressed the wrong button or somthing

I want a fully trained to level 5 skill as a compensation. Its a fair deal to all the paying customers.
No bucks no Buck Rogers. No customers no EVE-Online.
Just give something to compensate. Whe have already to much downtimes these days/weeks.
Or give one month money back.
BTW. FFS restart the servers thats simple as having a ****.

Jita was cleaned of all cans and shuttles. So it can't be that. And yea, it seems other players are still playing, but if they log off, they migth not get in again.

What I find funny is ppl complain about things that are/were done, but in reading the eula it stats that these things can be done by CCP. CCP owns the game and we are paying for the time on the game to help keep it up and running and for new development.
I have played many games onlone and have quit them mostly cause of ppl that don't respect others. Alot of game have a pcap rule for the game or league in which the game is played. The more time that passes the more violent it seems others online are when playing. When you find out some one is 14 and are using words and calling ppl names that they have no right to be called it just goes to show that ppl do not respecet others. IMO ..

I hear Salem is a very nice place to live.
I've been twice, pre-Halloween. Its a cross between the biggest cheesy giftshop you've ever been to and that street in your neighborhood the city insists preserve its historical atmosphere to the point they won't let you put up colored holiday lights. Its a good escape for Boston college students who haven't seen large patches of grass for months except the commons.
