For the record, I'm a database admin/dev and I've seen my fair share of servers going after an upgrade (or going down for reasons unknown for that mater.) I feel for you guys.

That said, I'm also only 3 days into a trial of this game. So far the gameplay has been remarkable. Unfortunately the reliability has been horrible. I'm starting to rethink giving up my FFXI account for this.

I'm not going to complain as I've been remarkably lucky: I'm on a free trial, so I'm not paying for the downtime, I still have another 5.5 hours on my skill, and my ship is safely docked unlike some poor unfortunates here.

I will; however, point out that this realy isnt the first impression you want to give prospective customers. Last login I saw there were at least 1500 users logged in on trial accounts. I wonder how many are questioning the reliability of the game as I am(whatever the cause may be).

Just wanted to point that out speaking as a person who's deciding to buy a subscription.

I know you are working on it and it will be up soon. Please provide your paying customers a reasonable explanation as soon as you are able.

I did not expect to hear something as offensive as this. Whoever wrote this has no clue at all. Following this logic some Germans were Nazzis, therefore all Germans are not allowed to play EVE. What a BS!!!

4S is nothing like NAZZZI slogan so please do your research... It has 1000+ years history and it was ALWAYS used among Serbs. Today 4S is official Serbian symbol. Saying that 4S is **** slogan is same like you say that every German is NAZZZI.

No. Which is my point. People are too thin skinned. Although CCP could easily make it so you couldn't use offensive names in the first place. Would of saved a lot of trouble.

You really need a clue. Swastika was not part of German history until WW2. 4S was always part of Serbian history. As I said before 4S is TODAY symbol of Serbia and NO ONE serious has complained before.

Has anyone had any trouble with their character(s) since this unexpected reboot?

I just logged back in, and one of my characters is missing 300,000 skill points and is no longer a member of my corp. (The login screen says everything in this reguard is ok). What is going on? Will clearing cache solve this, if so, how do i do it?

He also now has 8 mill ISK than he had before the reboot. weird.
