Well sometimes it is nice to figure out things by yourself, especialy in EVE but this thing honesty blew up my mind in the first place.
Would be indeed nice if the Mods would make this a Sticky one.

Would the +8 corp standing be required for both the purchase of a jump clone and the subsequent jumping or just the purchase?
Just wondering if its possible to leave my corp, buy a jump clone in a few locations, rejoin and then be ok to hop about

I would like to know as well if you can leave a corp - buy jump clones and head back in to another corp..

So where is the "Buy Jump Clone" option. I still have yet to see it. Also wondering how the skill points work out. Are jump clones skill point based? If they are skill point based, if you jump to a lower clone, do you lose sp?

Dock at a station with medical facilities, there is a second tab there.

Your clone always has the same SP cover, so a Jump Clone has it too when activated. ---------

I succeeded my test.
Clone jump to and from empire to 0.0 outpost works.

OK - so when you buy a jump clone - you are buying a round trip - and two clone essentially? You buy a jump clone and when you jump there - another clone is left behind with your implants.
If you get podded - you get put into you clone taht you would have bought normally before RMR? Then to get implant back - jump to the jump clone created for you when you first made the jump?
1: Buy Clone X1 in Station X 2: Buy Jump Clone A in Station Y 3: Travel to Station Z 4: Jump to Jump Clone A. 5: Jump Clone B created in Station Z with implants (irregardless of standings and facilities) 6: Get Podded 7: Appear in Station X (Clone X1 destroyed) 8: Buy New Clone X2 9: Jump to Jump Clone B in Station Z with Impants.
Buy new jump clone? And or is there a new Jump Clone C automatically created in Station X because a clone jump is being made?
Is this how it works?

Ok im totally confused as to how to "set up" the clone sequence...
I have 8.17 in the corp in question. I have the skill, trained to allow me one jump.
I "did" have my orginal clone, a RHO type, set to a differnt station, differnt corp, same system.
I then went to the corps station i wished to use as my jump clone loc I went into the jump clone screen. It asks me if i want to install a jump clone. I chose yes. It then shows me that I "have a jump clone at the station, with "no implants installed"... On my person, i have 10 slots worth.
Why? Do i need to "jump out" of my current clone to the one with no implants?
I thought ok, maybe its something with the jump clone not being where the "orginal, Rho" clone was set. So i changed the "orginal loc", to the new loc, where my jump clone says its based.
I now still have the jump clone, with the mesage, no implants installed" at the new, hi faction station/corp. This station now hold my "orginal" Rho clone.
Now i have two buttons which i can push. one is install clone, the other is "destroy clone"
Im thinking im not to ready to push destroy clone and have my orginal Rho (re:millions-o-isk) eaten.
Im also thinking that maybe the destroy clone option kills off the "jump" clone, this one being the one with out the implants, so its just a simple matter of re-doing it, with my Rho clone, at that particular station.
Its very confusing. If i understand right (and maybe i don't), I have the ability to create a jump clone which is a mirror of my current self, sans implants?
and then i can play around in less secure areas, with out implants in the body that im playing around in?
/edit In short, I want to be able to jump between implants/non implanted play....does this system allow/support this?
So, how is this done, exactly ? "..Id rather fall beside 10 lions, then stand with One thousand sheep.."

/me slaps forehead
2 systems !!!
#1) Clone activation and destination #2) Jump Clones
Install jump clone, go somewhere else with your 10 implants and dock. Open Character Sheet Stop training Go to Jump Clones Tab Activate Clone.
A few seconds later, your 10 implants are safe where you were in what has now become a "Jump Clone" and you can't jump back into it for 24 hours.
If you get podded, you always get a NEW CLONE, even if there is a Jump Clone in the same station, it's a different system. ---------

See, all it took was a simple clubbing over the head! ....
I had ppl telling me i needed to buy a "mirror" of the "reg clone" to use jump clones. Like somehow the two "clone types" were joined at the hip. By you saying differnet system, you are referring to the workings of, and not solar..
Thank you Jaa, thats what i needed to know.

I have a question. Say I install a jump clone in 0.0 I jump from empire. My "old body" stays behind in empire as a jump close. So I jump back from 0.0 to empire. Does the "jump clone" i orginally bought stay in 0.0 as my "old body" or does it get destroyed? It would be nice to use the two bodies as much as I wanted.

Better than that, you can then go to another station and jump to empire, and where ever you jumped from now has the "Jump Clone" as a target ---------

Originally by: Shayla Sh'inlux The skill is there not to jump in and out of empire.
The jump clone stuff is there to jump to motherships, titans and player controlled stations and outposts - ie it's 0.0 aimed content.
For empire dwellers they have made it possible to use jumpclones, but it requires extensive mission running to do so.
In effect, 0.0 players can jump into 0.0 or into a mothership when they're needed from Empire, but not back into empire unless you have +8 corp standings which is quite unlikely.
Anything less than these requirements would be open to wide abuse from the alliance players. I think this is one of the few things they didn't bork with RMR IMO.
Ehhh, I'm an alliance member, and I can jump to/from empire once every 24hrs using the new jumpclones. I currently have my jumpclone set in (system name hidden) system, which I have no standings towards at all, and I'm trying to decide where else in empire I want to have a jumpclone ready for me.

And yes, I think someone else pointed out, but it warrents repeating...
TO JUMP TO A JUMP CLONE: Open character sheet, select jump clones on the left, find the target jumpclone you want from the list on the right, right click it and select jump (after having stopped your current skill training).
Took me forever to figure that out, I was looking all over on the medical services button screen, on the jumpclones tab, and the other tab, and anywhere else I could think of, even tried right clicking myself.

Since I've seen some people say they have wound up losing their original w/ implants doing clone jumps, a question for those folks:
Assuming you petitioned it, is this something that gets refunded (ie, do the logs support so they can refund, or do you get the staple "we have no information in the logs, sorry") response.

Just to be clear:
You need the +8 corp/personal standings to create the initial jump clone, correct? In other words, I can:
- go to Point B where I have +8s - create a jump clone - go back to Point A where I have 0 standing - Jump to the clone at Point B - Jump back to the clone at Point A in 24 hours
Do I have it right? ---

even more weard is that in my new clone 1 of my low grade crystals is inside the new clone...
i petitioned it.

I guess this is because you can only clonejump once every 24 hours. So wait 24 hours and you can probably jump back to your old clone.

So you submitted a petition because you don't understand how jump clones work, even after reading a thread like this?
Did you READ this thread? Or did you find yet another outlet to complain?

This is the same question I have (i.e. getting back to your original clone if you clone jump then get podded). As best as I can see, noone else has answered it so far. Has anyone tested this situation and got back to their original clone?

The clonejumps are completely independent of the 'normal' clones. So you need the 'normal' clone in case you get POD'ed.
So in the case described in your quote, after step 9 you will be in your jumpclone with implants and you will have a jumpclone in station X (created atm you jump to your jumpclone with implants)
