It is called 'humility'. Seldom used in consumption driven world where people define themselfs only through property what results in greed and envy. |

Yes, it is terrible. Therefore in the future all women should be genetically enhanced to have super-racks. Greed and envy begone! |

But I ask myself is this the imagination you have how a woman should be? This is not an attack on you guys. And I do not want to start a discussion of what you all thing is beautiful. I only wanted to show a conspicuity.
I do not tell you what to do. EVE Online is a free game for which you all pay. You can do what you want. I only wanted to give my opinion.

Regards. Have you ever looked at the female superheroes in comic books and manga? Or movies? You know what makes them real superheroes? The ability to fight and do gymnastics with all that upper-body ballast they're hauling around. Also: Miracle-Fabric uniforms.
Now... guess how many many EVE-players also spent their formative years reading comic books or similar male-audience-oriented extruded product?

Look. to eb fair, i spent most of my childhood in fantasy land of one kind or another, and i still find big boobs and waists on girls kinda not sexy, i prefer athletes, if only because theya re actually fun to be around and are more up for "guy things" like rugby, pranks, and gaming.
plus the few girls ive grown up with who had "larger" breasts, always just felt so impersonal to hug and wahtnot, its like i gotta reach around two giant fat-sacks just to give them a hug hello, much easier to get close to a girl with smaller breasts (but i guess thats just me and my obsession with giving hugs to the very few people i can tolerate long enough to ebcome friends with).

Funny enough, making my character have a huge rack has actually made me money, the other day a random person commented in local about Alyssa's figure, and gave me 1 mil isk because of it. So, when people say making FF cups on your avatar =profit, they meant it hahaha.
But on a side note, bra size has really nothing to do with how good looking the character is. I've seen plenty less endowed female characters that are very well done. Just has alot to do with personal preference, I suppose. |

Hey Mang, I know I'm note a pro at the english language or anything... Hek.. I took Spanish and got a "B"...
Definition of CONSPICUOUS 1 : obvious to the eye or mind 2 : attracting attention : striking 3 : marked by a noticeable violation of good taste <-- what we try for in EVE.
There were a number of conspicuous changes to the ships fitting. <--- Obviously ASB fit! The Giant Secure Container was placed in a very conspicuous spot. <--- love the cans... The Crane has a few conspicuous red Marks on the front of its hull. <--- paint marks. She felt very conspicuous with her big coohoonahs. <--- what we're talking about here... He was uncomfortable about his conspicuous weight gain and baldness. <-- what we CAN'T do in EVE.
I understand your concerns/expectations for the male population... but not all of this is our fault... when the new character creator came out people were vastly disappointed that everyone was 6'0"and in shape... no one overweight... no comb-overs...and High heels didn't make a difference in height ... of which I was unable to even try on even though the gender/transgender wars had happened long before New Eden. A complete OUTRAGE!! But in reality... the Corp I was with at the time... spent a day posting pictures and critiques and laughing our butts off on some of the possibilities (remember all the stroke victims!)... and then we got back to playing Eve.
So no overweight(cankles and cottage cheese) sloppy gal with patches of hair falling out (skin disease not cancer).... and wearing a sweaty unwashed over sized man-beater(type of shirt), 18 tats and 32 pieces of stainless steel in her face. Just think that in the future most of these things will be curable/undesirable. We'd LIKE too... but the dang nanos in our bloodstream keep the weight off... :(
Just my 3 ISKies,
Jose Ronald Palasialdana

Often men playing as women in games are like drag queens, they have a 'hugely' distorted sense of proportion, though at times both make me want to puke I pretty much ignore them, its a free world and if someone wants to be misogynistic or ignorant, let them, it's a game after all and best to ignore them. Also anyone who would give someone something because of how their avatar looks is laughably dumb. That is not to say all men who create female avatars are this way, many just enjoy looking at females and usually they make them classy appearing (my husband for example does this) and I don't blame them, we women are superior after all and who could blame you for wanting to be one of us! |

Ignoring the feminists and staying on topic,
confession time: my char is pretty much how i would look like if i had been born female i dont have identity issues, but to be honest, it's pretty much: *checks pants* .. hmm.. i appear to be male.. ok, let's play along with that then in many of my dreams i dont actually have a gender..
i actually compared my relatives, and old photos of my mother and grandmothers, to see to get the ratios right, and man, getting the hip-waist ratio correct was not easy, it really wanted to stay in some extreme hourglass figure i got the nose wrong, have considered resculp for that, but meh,
it was an intesting experiment: i see that i care about my char's clothing more then my own in real life, oversize blank t-shirt and black jeans, is pretty much what have been wearing for the last 20 years, my char is a little more varied, depending on mood :) one thing annoys me with clothing options in this game: all female shoe options are high heels.. seriously? i dont have height issues? can i have just REGULAR shoes?
and yeah, i play D&D in real life, for long enough that i cant make characters anywhere without role-playing :)
also, thumbs up for Akirei Scytale and Aya Shinomiya, that's the two most real looking chars i have seen in eve :) Return varied color to Gallente ships! not everything looks good in DARK GREEN! |
