I reread some of this for some laughs and i've noticed ppl complaining about his content. For the most part his content is fairly good, 'given his reason for streaming'. I emphasize, 'given his reason for streaming'.
Now ill elaborate;
Lets ask streamers, gaming ones specifically, if they would like to be paid to stream their game full time and be paid. Full time being 7-8 hours a day 5 days a week. Now from what I have gathered when asking this question 90% say no. You sitting here wondering why would you say "no"? You could be getting paid to play games all day. That is the point most Gamer's play games to relive stress, enjoy, or to cure boredom. Now take you game and play it for 8 hours a day, it becomes a 'job'; stressful, long, boring, and well a job. It loses its fun factor after a time period of doing this, and the same would go for content, as you get more and more into the monotony of playing the game as a job you quality of content suffers.
The main problem with Mad Ani's content is that his reasons for streaming; as he has shown, is to make money and or work playing eve for a living. So what he has done is saved himself from going threw the degrading of a good content stream and starting his stream right at the bottom with Boredom, and just general content of no real substance.
Just the thoughts of a random person getting back into Eve. |

Even so, they do it because they enjoy it and want to. Now make it a job where they have to do it in order to make a living and survive, the game is no longer a 'game'. Thus all the circumstances change around why you play it.
However, I do believe that the people that play that much are the minority. |

It's interesting that in a thread where you stand accused of cooing at pretty ships and bomb runs instead of giving any meaningful information out, that you chose to interject with a video of you cooing at ships and bomb runs, whilst not giving any information out.
If you compare this to the other streams of the same fight, which referenced the different fleet compositions on the field, explained the tactics being used, etc, you're found sadly wanting.
If CCP just want video of ships flying around with some (actual, legal) music, they could do this and have it look a lot better - see: their trailers.

I'm amazed that this thread isn't closed yet. I think the general consensus at the moment is that Ani shouldn't be and won't get hired, because he looks like an impulsive liar, shows to care for legal rules; copright laws; Eve online EULA/TOS, Twitch.tv EULA/TOS.
In all honestly, I'm waiting for an ISD to perma lock this thread, because it's useless, as well as pointless as to why it's still here. At this point, every post is just "**** ani" or something, bar the random interjection Ani made earlier, that makes him look like an idiot for posting something that's doing exactly what he's claiming not to.
If an ISD has the time, can you please close this thread and have a GM give a yay or nay on Ani getting hired.
Only issue with the yay/nay, is if the GMs say "no," which I believe they would, Ani will cry constantly on the forums about it, and his whiteknight army will as well. If they say "yay," Ani will continue to pull bs on the forums, be a technical public entity for CCP, and then get his stream taken down for copyright infringment, and then cry on the forums some more.
So, as far as I can tell, there's just going to be crying from Ani and his whiteknighters on the forums for a very long time, no matter what CCP says, which without a doubt will be "no" since ani has shown that he's not worthy of actually getting a job for CCP. |

I think some of his streams are quite good but I stopped watching when he started to beg for money to improve the stream for a PC! This to me was a class of begging! Things do not just get handed to you on a plate you need to go out and work for it like the rest of us. Streaming Games, Fights is a Hobby at best. If CCP did create a "streming" role then Im sorry but I have seen better streaming from some low sec PVP fights and other members who post videos.
I found this reading EN24 and Sorry to say I am not upvoting for a Job to be created and if you really want a job then apply through the normal CCP website route as every joe blogs has to. |
