I will add my voice to the discussion...
There are a lot of problems inherent in a dual-corp setup that alliance won't fix. Sure we could form an alliance but that does not merge hangers - which is a major problem I've seen in just the last week.
If you're not going to release Soverignty then possiably modifying Alliances to allow for such a close integration of corporations that it's effectivly the same thing?

The logistics of operating one corp split into two is starting to drive some of us mad. When I eventually lose it and start chewing all the plaster off my walls I'm sending the repair bill to CPP. Release the skill, save your acountants a headache.
