I don't think so. That's a great idea though, would be hilarious if it worked. Populate the world with them, maybe the more you sire the more powerful you become, and the more hunted by humans.
plus, by factoring in npc vapirism and radiant AI, you're going to solve two problems at the same time! :D

Oblivion is great but it is far far from perfect imho
The much hyped unscripted AI speach system is completly broken.
Notable conversations i overheard included:
"Greatings"
"Greatings"
"Its a nice day today"
"I heard Brom is a vampire"
"Thats what i heard"
"Good-day"
"Same to you"
--------
"Hello"
"Spare a coin for an old war veteran"
"Same to you. Good day"
"Good day to you".
Also im not sure about the X-Box version but on the Pc npcs will spasmodically change their voice in the middle of a conversation, from say an old begger to a well spoken women.
Also, lets call a spade a spade Oblivion stinks (not the game but the planes of Oblivion). There is little to no variation between the 16 areas you are forced to trudge through (In all fairness you dot have to do them. I waited till i was level 16 before going into the first one by when i had about 7 of them scattered accross my map.
Horse ridding is also a bit crap and the minigames like lock picking are clearly meant for the X-Box and dont work with a mouse.

Oblivion still looks great and is one of the best rpgs ive played.

I think it's a worthy guess to say the game from the get-go has been designed to work as a console game. The whole game and interface feels natural on the 360, but on the PC there are times when you fight with it. That's usually a dead giveaway.
Fantastic game though. Hardly ever left my 360's drive, except when I get the hankering to shoot someone with an assault rifle. The I put in GRAW. :)

Just got the game, character creation isn't visible, just a white screen, same with the game. No matter how much i fiddle with the card it refuses to work. :(

Ultra High for me, thanks to the new hardware =)
Still slows down though, especially when I'm exploring new areas. Areas I've already visited tend to run much faster, which makes sense. Still getting smooth play in battles though, it just gets hairy outdoors in the woods.
Started a Dark Elf character, but I have a question. Where am I supposed to store all the loot I get? I can't afford a house until later, and unlike Morrowind I can't seem to find some shmuck to kill and take his house...

Get a bow with shock damage, or arrows with shock damage. Fire works too I think.
Watching people do backflips as you shoot them in the face for charging at you is easily in my top 5 badass things of Oblivion.
The Dark brotherhood as an overall thing, takes #1. The highlight of that group was probably dropping the mino head on the guy in his chair. So evil.
Still have nfc how you get the bonus(if there is one) for killing the captain in front of his crew. I killed him with all his guys on my ass and nothing.

Any special/named container seems to work fine.
I used vinceti's chest in the brotherhood sanctuary for a long time.
Still do, since it's got something like 2000lbs worth of crap in it.

If you are desperate for a house, get the one in the Imperial City - Waterfront district. It's only 2,000 gold(without upgrades).
Of course, you could always go for Rosethorn Hall in Skingrad for a cool 25,000 gold before upgrades...

Apparently the new ATI drivers force-enable AA, so while Oblivion says AA is off, it's actually on, meaning you get HDR AND AA, the results look like this...

Tbh you can make god like characters from the get go for the most part.
My favorite char atm is a Dark Elf,Warrior signed,customise class,focused on Strength and willpower and feated in Athletics,Heavy armor,Mysticism,blade,block,Destruction and Conjuration. For me it has been a walk in the park all I do is tank,deal damage,conjur when im getting wtfpwned and when I run out of Magicka I bust out a sheild and sword then whoop ass!

You're probably trying to play with a dx8 or lower card.
You need a dx9 card all the way, radeon 9500+ or geforce fx 5700+
