Edited by: Amataras on 17/03/2006 01:14:53 Today I bought PC Gamer UK. They gave Oblivion 93% but said it could have had 96% if it wasn't for the poor way in which NPCs talk to each other. Since its probably the first game ever where NPCs actually interact based on their A.I. i think i can over look the slight flaws.
Overall though it is amazing apparently ------- The Eve Diplomacy Table |

Bah! I will have to wait for like 3 or 4 months to be actually able to play it. Those games you have to order thru places like Amazon for them to ever delivered here in Venezuela , and it's a pain for me to order them besides having to make a trip to Miami and pick it up at a local game store hehe. Anyway when I get it, I will also leave BS to 5 -"There's no worst blindness than that of those that do not want to see"- |

If that's SMP, then yes, Oblivion supports that. Also it supports Quad SLI :P

I've had the Collector's Edition pre-ordered for 6 months now. I never pre-order, but no Elder Scrolls game has failed me yet, and by the looks of the previews this wont either.
I played Morrowind for 6 months. I also had the same thing happen to me, when I started I had no idea where to go and what to do. Uninstalled. Then after a few months when I played all my other games through and only had Morrowind left, I thought myself.. "Why not!". And there we went. It was a little hard at the beginning, but the more I played the more I liked it.
You need to live yourself in, and you need to do 1 thing at a time. Otherwise you end up with 1000 unfinished quests and no idea where to go. The Journal wasn't the best solution for that tbh.
Anyway 2 days to go! Well not.. we'll get it 2 weeks after it's released in my Country.

As far as I know, is 24th March here in the UK...makes it Friday 4 days from now...I'm trembling with anticipation! The only games that have had this effect on me in the past were the Hitman series, Thief series and anything BioWare. Morrowind was a great game, albeit with a few flaws, though it nonetheless took nothing away from it.
I'm hoping Oblivion takes what Bethesda created with Morrowind and just makes it bigger, better looking and sounding with more story and open-ended bits. That's what Morrowind was renowned for I think. Even if it's *more of the same* it will be a great game, but with the improved AI, GFX, combat/magic system I expect it will be even greater. I already have BS5 so will have to find something else to train! Hehe...actually it probably won't make much difference to my in-game presence, I'm rarely on these days. -------------

I still can't believe that I preorder this game and then today my gf6 blows out on me. currently running on a gf4 4200, and I wouldn't want to put oblivion through the shame of being run on such a crap card.

well, I was heavily involved in the morrowind mod scene, some of the works I was involved in getting some press coverage, and generally, driving me insane
Oblivion's FPS engine looks gorgeous, but leave me with one worry - a lot of FPS games give me motion sickness after only an hour of play.
anyone else have the same problem in games, and/or found the same with oblivion - I'd love to know before I buy on friday?

That's me. and not so much helped run it, as did run the entire thing along with Theta.
still got most of the assets on this PC. might update them with normal maps, and release 'em for oblivion.

You can't even run it. You need a card which can do pixel/vertex shaders 2 to even start the game up.
