My tip is a simple one for station instas: just make a BM _after_ you exit the station and you have an insta.
I find it surprising that people have elaborate and slow-to-use station insta tips here. While my method is quick and dirty, I've made 100+ station instas using the method above and every single one of them is instant.

Originally by: Cerberal When solo bubble camping (or with a small group) in 0.0, and you get say...a battleship target or bc that MAY have stabs (you can find this out by right clicking their ship, if there is no "Look at" option, they are currently outdoing your scramble)...
Ram them, then web them, as they start to align again turn off the web to increase the time it takes them to gain speed for warp. This gives you the max time possible for killing them.
For freighter escort duty: Have a ceptor web your friendly freighter before it warps toward the next gate as its aligning, this will make the freighter instawarp as the web for some reason only helps it warp faster. Useful for making escort duty faster.
Alt+click is quick 'look at.' --------

Tip for handling macroers and scaring the bejesus out of noobs
Fit a scrambler and head to your nearest maromart belt û drop a can and rename it ôYouö Then orbit the can and scramble it û the macomart shoppers will get the message that you just tried to scramble ôYouö confused they will then attack you and you can freely execute them ALL û no concord running interference. Also a naughty trick to play in empire noob belts *snickers* its funny to watch 20 noobs warp out because they think you are a pirate and just tried to attack them. Best Trick In Eve hands down

u dont have to sit and orbit it with the advent of tractor beams, just lock it tow it along while in warp alignment to a ss, more than u can handle warps in, warp out ss, then change to second ss, cloak :)

At any station that you use often, undock in an interceptor, then without moving, manually align your ceptor so its in a straight line out from the undock point. Go in that direction and hit the MWD, go for about 1000 or 2000 kilometers and stop, bookmark the spot. Then go dock and undock again, as soon as you have loaded and can see things, warp to the bookmark, you will instantly warp away before anyone can even lock you. Even in a battleship. This is very useful if you are being camped and need to get out of the station, or if you have a fleet of yours in the station and you need to get into space and get ready to fight. Now, wheres my bomber?

What are you talking about? That's totally incorrect unless there is some bug I'm unaware of. Try reading the tracking guide: http://www.eve-online.com/guide/en/g26.asp
I suspect you are trying to say that some guns have bad tracking so firing them at optimal range is not so "optimal"?

Well from my experience opt range is only optimal if its a stationary target or a large slow moving target. Once you factor in direction, speed, size, transversals, etc you'll find that you hit best (or plain just hit) at a range much farther out than opt range. Like at least twice your opt range.
I couldn't understand why I was missing so much at opt range, then I went out 1500m-4000m more and all of a sudden im hittin again.

This has been tested, but not entered into the general knowledgebase yet, and I'll confirm it when it goes out.
skiffs take very little volume, like 10K^M3. their cargo space is like 6.5k m^3. so you fill skiff cargoholds, and then fill your carrier with skiffs
its not an exploit afaik, but expect skiffs to increase in size by 100x :P -------------------Sig-----------------------

Edited by: Ishquar Teh''Sainte on 30/04/2006 11:16:13 dunno if it was mentioned before ... but a corpm8 of mine told me this one ...
"how to drop ships into a station"
for example - you have a lots of ships sitting in space (e.g. parked at a safespot/POS) ... now you could eject from your ship - board a parked one .. move it to the station - dock - undock in a shuttle .. rinse and repeat ... OR
you could use the following trick: board the parked ship ... jump on 15km to the station and click on the "dock" symbol in your overview ... right click on your ship and click on "eject" - now a message pops up (make sure it's not disabled before you do so) ... wait - when your ship is in docking range the "docking" over your neocom shows up (i think it's its name) click on yes in the "eject" pop up ... now you eject from you ship while it is towed into the station ... voila .. you're floating in your pod outside of the station and the ship is in your hangar ... ___________________

I don't understand, if the skiff's volume is creater than its cargo capacity, you'd be reducing the amount you can haul by filling your carrier with skiffs and filling their holds unless you're counting the volume taken up by the skiffs as part of the haul volume. So you can't really haul 450k m3 of stuff, can you? I don't get it.
well now you can transport it in your ship maintenance bay of your carrier/MS ... other tactics include iteron mk3 for example you can pack two iteron mk3 afaik in a carrier ... 500k m¦ ship maintenance - means an additional cargohold of about what? 20-30k m¦ .. using the skiff exploit (?) you can get an additional cargohold of [size of maintenance bay]*0,65 ___________________

Oh. Then that's just clever :D. Or maybe a bug with the ship maintenance bay. Ship maintenance hangers at POS don't let you store anything with stuff in the cargo bay in them.
