No love for Pure Blind, huh CCP. I guess the image you were trying to portray with it was....wasteland?
Anoms really weren't buffed, it was just a ploy to make us think that an extra 2-4m per poor anom would make us happier.
Nebula in PB looks more like a horrible photoshop copy paste than anything nice, but hey at least empire looks nice, right?
Docked in station uses more resources even when CQ is not opened and we're forced to load those resources for CQ even if we don't want to use it, patchnotes said we wouldn't, they lied =\ 15-20% CPU load increase when docked.
Wish I could say nothing but praise, but there were clearly quite a few things overlooked as normal for any patches that have came out. Maybe in a month things will be fixed... |

The Nebula are nice indeed, but don't prevent you from getting eye cancer from the new font. It is just too wide and very bad to read. Instead of just forcing everybody to use this crappy one why is there no choice on others?? Best work ever done by a blind developer i guess,
PS: The longer I have to read this font the more I like to flame about the GUI designer. Why has the auto pilot now white boxes around. Is the player base now mostly above 60 so they need a reading aid? We had already boxes around system name which was irritating, then they were taken out, now they appear on another place. Seems we have a box fetishist here. |

Okay, haha, very funny - now revert the April fools font please.
Also, the system info was neatly organized in a box before, now it appears messy and spread out - any reason for this change?
Finally, thanks for buffing the lower tier drone anomalies like all the other regions - oh wai.. they're exactly the same as before.
Other than that, loots of good stuff - loot all and the ship spinning counter are pretty sweet. |

This doesn't seem like a bug or tech problem, so I rather post it here than in the issues thread.
Corp bookmarks. Is there any way to control where they appear in the right-click menu? From what I see if any of the corp BM's is in the same system it just gets dumped into the "root", irregardless of any directory structure in people and places. Am I doing something horribly wrong here? Or is it intended to have a 100-item long list when right-clicking in a commonly used system?
Also, the new font hurts my eyes.
Otherwise, seems like good stuff! (Provided no more crashes any time soon) |

The nerf to Drone hordes is to harsh.
Can a dev please explain to me how they are balanced with bounty space for the individual player?
We now cannot salvage while we do the horde which we NEED to do in order to get any money. This increases the time it takes to do a horde significantly. Which reduced ISK income.
Oh not to mention in order to be efficient in drone lands you need...
A) A second account with a noctis pilot
B) After you complete your horde you have to goto a station (if there is one in system) and get into a noctis (which you need the skills to fly one) Then you have to go tractor everything and loot everything (salvage is optional but youd be dumb not to) then you have to go back to station (agian if there is 1 in system).
Then after A or B you have to then haul (so you need skills to fly a hauler or a second hauler account) your alloys to a station with a refinery and refine the alloys into minerals.(which you need skills to refine well) You then have to sell these minerals all before you see a single isk for your work.
Please tell me agian.. how is this balanced with bounty space? Cause it gives you minerals instead of isk? Please leave that to the poor miners getting ravaged by the alloys.
BTW everything else looks sweet i just think drone regions require much more work and skills/accounts to acheive the same ammount of isk. |

Seems pretty good so far. The nerfs to supercaps will cause more super pilots to join the largest alliances who can properly "support" their deployment, further concentrating firepower/wealth in EVE. The end result will be fewer "fun" fights, and will hurt EVE in the long run. |

ok, so my desktop installation of eve client got crapup by this update. And no repair.exe to be found anywhere...
Ok maybe i should consider myself lucky, so many expansions and this one was first that brake things..
So backup eve folder on laptop and then run update on it, works but bit slowly...
Make second backup with updates on external hardrive- and copy it over to my desktop maschine... Fixed...
So on my computers with minimum graphics, yes it looks nice. Altho im more interested on new blueprints and new t2 modules provided opportunities on industrials... Will be interesting times ahead on ship frontiers..
Other then those update problems, cant really complain...
Dear CCP staff, your corporation has QA department, please use them. I can now understand why people complain about buggy expansions... When theyre buhhy, theyre really buggy.
And when it comes to that Soundwaves devblog and 4-6 weeks of programming. I think i can imagine what is bossible then with 4-6 month of programming. Lots of things that have been much needed to fix or iterate forward...
But Direction is correct, keep it up and continue working on it.
PS. I see my firefox browser still has power to make eve client startup fail [Insert something funny or smart here] |

The font! I can finally read the PI screens! My eyes are saved! The backgrounds - makes me just want to float in space and look. The new warp effect is sweet. The new Tier 3 BC's I like! The new color scheme on some ships (gallente shuttle) :-D Did I mention how nice I thought the Oracle looked?
one question: in PI, why did you upgrade the link capacities? Now I have all of these waaaay upgraded links that I have to rebuild to down-grade them. Too bad there isn't a downgrade button.
and one comment: if I'm going to spend all that isk to put up a POCO, I sure want to be able to add defenses to it (jam, scram, hardeners, guns, missles)

So far the one thing that sticks out as really needing worked on is....ship lighting. The ships are really dark......so much so as to make them uninteresting to look at.
Please work on this. I know this is space and all and the only source of lighting is the star but come on. There is so much in this game that isn't try to life can we please see our ships at all angles? Please? We want breast augmentations and sluttier clothing in the NeX! |

Most things looking good so far.
Negative:
- You delayed the seeding of Fuel Block BPOs at the last minute!
- With the UI at 90% I can get the same or more info on screen as before, though it doesn't look as clear as the old font. Maybe I just need to get used to it. But not the numbers showing the quantities of stuff in my cargo and hangars, that's silly tiny and distorted!
Positive:
- It's all very pretty, especially the Viator. Already one of my fave ships and you somehow made it even better. Loads better!
[drool]
- You delayed the seeding of Fuel Block BPOs at the last minute! Oh, wait, I didn't like that bit.
Edit: Forgot to say, well done CCP for your efforts, this does look mostly very good so far. |

Dammit CCP, I wrong a huge reply to this thread, and then my page got ganked by your site maintenance.
For the most part this is one of my favorite expansions to date. Corp bookmarks are awesome. Missing shots are awesome. Engine trails are awesome. I love the new font, I can read things. I could go through all the awesome line by line, but you could pretty much take the patch notes and remove 1% of them, so the easier option is to go ahead and list that 1%
Primary thing here is the drone hordes. All other regions received a buff to their payouts based on the bounties received. Because drone regions donGÇÖt rely on bounties, they didnGÇÖt get a buff (or for that matter, any direct balance compared to other regions). However, it did effectively receive a huge nerf.
There are several disadvantages to drone hordes already. You have to salvage everything being the primary one. This either requires two accounts (cutting into real life money, or ISK if you play with PLEX), switching ships constantly (which cuts into isk because the hordes now take twice as long), or you have to pay a corp mate to salvage for you (again, cutting into isk). There is also the disadvantage to most pilots that after salvaging you have to turn the drops into liquid isk either by selling them directly, or building something with them. There is a lag created in payout here.
Most drone residents were fine with these disadvantages because there were also advantages, to one site in particular. You could spawn the entire site at once. This means that you didnGÇÖt have to worry about aggro changing from spawn to spawn, so you could run the site in the same amount of time by using a second account or a corp mate. You also didnGÇÖt have to recall drones because the aggro changed. You also had the option of only killing the battleships, taking the loot from those. This decreased the value of the site a bit, but increased the speed at which you could run them, it was generally considered more profitable. The TLDR of all this is that the disadvantages of these sites were offset by the speed at which they could be run, increasing the isk per minute value of them.
In the expansion, by changing them to a wave mechanic, you forgo all of these advantages but still have all of the disadvantages. You can no longer safely have a noctis in the site with you while running the site because of aggro, for the same reason itGÇÖs necessary to periodically recall drones, increasing the time it takes. You also cannot work your way through the spawns killing only battleships and warp a noctis in after, I found out the hard way that it seems you have to kill EVERY ship in the site before the despawn will occur.
This happens at a time that all other regions have received a buff to a greater or lesser degree, effectively increasing the isk/min amount that can be earned from all other sites. I encouraged CCP to look at sites and ensure they were balanced from an isk/min standpoint before the patch, whether this be the suggested change of bounty payouts on drone so they can be directly and fairly balanced or simply changing the mechanics. I have no problem with drone regions being different so long as difficulties are balanced by easiness.
Mostly, I wouldnGÇÖt have a leg to stand on if CCP had looked at them and stated that they were examined and found to be balanced, but the fact that they publicly stated that these were not part of the balance really sucks for those living in that region.
To those saying this is a GÇ£bot nerfGÇ¥, thatGÇÖs ignorance at best. ItGÇÖs been shown time and again that bots can be written to do almost anything. At best this will break them for a few days until the code is updated, and then theyGÇÖll continue to run sites, probably with more efficiency than a human ever could.
Oh, one more feature I love, the ship spinning counter, whatever smartass at CCP put this in, I <3 you. Same with the destroyed monument outside Jita. Overall this is still one of, if not, the best patch to date (IMO). I love the focus on the little things, they are force multipliers that make this game so much more fun to play. Thanks CCP, and keep up the new focus (by balancing drone regions first preferably :P). |

I like the new graphics. Especially the fancy new nebulae and the beautiful redesigned Caldari-ships (albeit some were just re-textured). I don't think I've been so fond of my Buzzard since I first bought it. And the Manticore, Hawk and Crow... Oh, they look bad-ass now. Good job, CCP. Seems like this is the most successful deployment so far.
However, I had gotten the impression that we'd be able to choose whether we wanted to use the old font or the new. I personally prefer the old one, but that's just because I've gotten used to it. Maybe I'll wind up liking the new font as well.
For now, I'll just look forward to my Hawk getting its fourth bonus. |

I guess you would say the same thing about tech moons? The fact is that balance is what drives the game. Hybrids were crappy, everyone could just train different weapons, why not leave them? Differences are good, they allow one thing to counter another or players to enjoy the game in ways they want to without being at a clear disadvantage. Blatantly allowing anything to be "crappy" and ignoring that problem is not good game mechanics. I've yet to run into anyone in this game that sees something as being imbalanced compared to other parts of the game and saying so what, leave it. Now I realize this isn't my game, which is why I said if CCP had looked at it, then I would (grudgingly I'm sure) accept it. The fact that they didn't shows they ignored the potential problems completely.
Anyway, I'm not here to argue about it, it's feedback for CCP, I'll leave that to the GD threads that are sure to be created :) |

Ok so ya a couple little issues, so what, with what you guys took on to make this expansion and its gone this smoothly, HOLY ****!!!
You ppl need to quit freaking complaining about everything, worse than teenage girls, stfu already. Half you issues would be fixed by simply clring cache, I did on all accounts and eve runs BEAUTIFULLY so far (thought limited on what i have done to this point in game since servers came back up)
Now for my comments to CCP:
DAMN NICE WORK!!! IN my just over 2 yrs in eve never was i excited about a patch and wasnt disappointed at all. Gone so much smoother than most patch days, the new content is awesome. My biggest point is i was afraid new content and updates would screw over my video card and force me to replace sooner than i could afford, BUT INSTEAD......it runs smoother now than it did before. And I am on an ATI video card which is shocking.
My hats off too you guys, great job, glad so see all the blogs about the change in direction and attitude towards eve players is for real. KEEP IT UP, you doing everything you can the RIGHT WAY NOW instead of how wrong it was before.
I piece of advise though, allow more time for player feedback before cut off to changes cause balance on tier 3 BCs is still rather off, the Talos bpo costing 60mil more than the rest for one thing. It cost more to build by 6 mil than any other....
I hope the balancing project continues progress so things like that and others are fixed down the road, be nice to see a place for all races in major pvp.
Over again, GREAT JOB, THANKS SO MUCH FOR BRINGING EXCITEMENT BACK INTO EVE AND LETTING US PLAYERS KNOW WE AGAIN MATTER!!!!!! |

Nebula in PB looks more like a horrible photoshop copy paste than anything nice, but hey at least empire looks nice, right? What a negative Nancy. no thanks for their hard work, no positives, no we just focus on nit picking two features. Thanks for the expansion guys! Keep up the good work!
Fine, you pay everyone's subscription in the meantime clone.
Nearly every bug FIXED over the last year is back - what hard work? Making new comicbook backdrops?
The truth is that most of the problems Tranquility has now have been seen on SISI for awhile - guess it was hard work to ignore the testers reports, see arrogant devs comments elsewhere about how he never read feedback.
Great patch if you love to make in-game movies, they look great on devs resumes afterall. As usual, playability improvements were minor - 'hot button' forum issues ignored - and plenty of more CCP con about 'how they will fix it in the future' really really this time. Incarna - exceedingly pointless - one cancellation already, *** going for two now.... |

Today i logged on too Eve after downloading the massive patch was happy too see the new tier 3 Bc also too see that the server was back online around on time not sure was at work so an massive sucess for ccp and i see they kept posting with updates with how it was coming so are an customer of ccp i was happy with the service. So i logged on too my high sec jita alt mainly too see if the new tier 3 Bc was on sale it was not people was justed getting the BPO and as i'm writing this the first are hitting the market, the game look great all the new stuff seem too be working in the way it was ment to ofc an few bugs have happen but nothing massive. So after see the the 3 Bc was not on sale i logged off and when on my main char and i was reading the shadow of xXDEATHXx allaince chat and seen an few people talking about an nerf too horde so i logged on too my carrier and scan the horde site and the nerf is too the time it takes too run/ salvage the site ( loot all button give me massive lag and old method is faster much) now takes on average 3 time are long too run and salvage an site which creates massive boreddom so far manged too run 2 site since server is up, also with the decrease in isk per an hour one can make mean that people and corp will do what is best for them and the corp so possible with the drone region nerf you see an odd corp jump into high sec too farm the incursion still nice to see them stay the same also something the new 10/10 drone drop for the location is it justed by killing an random drone as the bunker no longer take damage so not sure how the region gets 10/10
Also Region should be different but the scope seem to be unbalanced if CCp would post the extract about the research show for each region makes as per an hour using the same ship type as i would like too know justed how big the gap is |

Completely screwed up PI with the excessive taxes. Way to blow it. Instead of doing it right you half-ass rush it into place based on a calendar.
Used to cost a couple K isk to export a load of P2 items... now? 617K to export 5000 precious metals.
What the hell are you all thinking? Setting the tax rate to 5% on a PCO won't be the same as it was before... just on this one product I'm seeing over 200x the cost.
Wow, you failed this big time and are really screwing the market. There needs to be some serious adjustments to taxes for PI. Six months in the hole... it changes a man. |

I use a dual monitor setup, and I notice that when I resize my window after changing the location of my locked targets in the UI, the locked targets go back to the original location, which happens to be off-screen of my second monitor. In order to move them, I have to resize the window, and when I do that, the target location changes again... it's an endless cycle. I also notice that after resizing the window, the location information appears on the right side of the screen (F11 hotkey to make it happen otherwise).
I notice this isn't an issue if you simply move the window, but still, it's a bug. I thought I should let ya know. |

I knew this expansion provided loads of convenience alterations, but I was still amazed how much difference some of the changes actually made in my playing experience. I'm not going to go over all of them and the visual improvements are also certainly amazing, but special mention has to go the the change where once you press a button your ship automaticly moves in space to do it. That one little thing just made so many things much more convenient and allows me to focus on important things, instead of having to micromanage ten little things at the same time to achieve the same result.
Thank you, you all did a great job with this expansion. |

I am very disappointed in the new nebulae, they make the game look cheesy.
The whole point of a universe simulation game is that it is supposed to be dark with stars that you can travel to, like Star Trek or Star Wars. The nebulae you've added in Crucible are background wallpapers that we are forced to look at and cannot travel to.
Why implement something that players cannot interact with? At least give me the ability to disable it.
And please give players the ability to customize their font, the default font with Crucible looks disgusting.
Not an impressive expansion. A step backwards actually. |

A lot of good changes, but one bad undocumented stealth nerf:-
Very disappointed in the new limited amount of personal bookmarks players can have.
While the number now allowed is fine for people living in empire with npc stations everywhere, for 0.0 pvp'ers who roam hostile space and especially fleet commanders who need a lot of tactical bookmarks it's nowhere near enough.
Without the ability to have a large number of bookmarks then there will be less 0.0 roaming and less pvp there as a result.

Overall, I am impressed with this expansion. It has restored much of my faith in CCP as a company.
The first problem I have is the new font doesn't scale the way I would expect it to. For example, menu items and most tabs scale up and down, but module names are the same size no matter what scale or font size i use. There are many areas where the font size is just too small or too big.
Second, is the rather limited number of ship fittings and bookmarks I can have. I can understand that server side space may be limited, but give me the option to store as many as I want locally.
Third, I miss the smiley face on my Ishtar, but I love the new paint job. Surrender is still your slightly less painful option. |

PI is alot more expensive now, to import and export, painfully so. I guess this will encourage the new system tho.
Noticed that when dragging a large amount of PI stuff from the custom office to the launchpad that it often says that its too much, as in that i'm moving more than the launchpad can handle. That isn't the case however, and i'm forced to drag them individually, even tho the total amount is less than 10k that the launchpad can hold. Moving them in smaller groups makes it work though, so its not game-breaking, just an annoying bug.
Other than that, awesome expansion as usual. Keep up the outstanding work CCP!! |

The new limit will only affect a very small number of players, the issue is that it was completely undocumented and not mentioned in any of the patch notes etc. If it was then we would have had time to organise bookmarks on relevant characters to fit within the new limits.
The new limit seems high (13,000), however that's only about 2 per system in eve when you count them all. So one safespot per system and hostile / friendly towers + jumpbridges. That leaves not many spare for tacticals (where you want to place fleets / avoid drag bubbles etc.
Unless you spend most of your time in hostile space or you're a fleet commander this isn't an issue, for those of us where it is then we can live with the new limits if we have to via alts.
The problem is the fact it was an undocumented stealth nerf with no prior warning at all. |

Really don't like the new display for how long a skills takes.
"1Mo 2 days" is bad because not every month has the same number of days in it. This means (I'm assuming, we'll know in 2 days) that when we tick over from a 30 day month to a 31 day month, the number of days after the month is not going to change as you'd expect with the skill time reduction of that period taken into account.
This is bad UI design. There was nothing wrong with stating the number of days a skill takes and having it count down. In fact, that was perfect. |

What i do miss so far is the tactical overlay in the solar system view. Did you remove it or it is bugged? Time will tell how the changes to the ships and weapons/modules are turning out. Guess alot of whining and bitching will happen, as it does everytime^^. Why no Expanded Probe Launcher T2? Thanks CCP |

I typically am displeased with content in patches for the last two years or am angry about how CCP says the system will be backup by "X" time and fails to hit that target by almost half a day... This time around I have a totally different view. Yes, CCP ran over by an hour to an hour and a half. They did bounce the system at least once after but not the normal 6 or 7 times like patches past. As far as the folks missing their station spinning in the past, I can only say go in to space, cloak and enjoy the imagery. BEAUTIFUL!
Great job CCP, major improvement in patch and delivery. Still a few bugs here and there, but nothing that can't be sorted over the rest of the week. Thank you and don't let the tears spoil your triumph. |

I'll keep this concise:
Negatives:
- Gal shuttle and Comet have lost their iconic schemes.
- Muted colours. The new art direction is a bit too dark and lacks vibrancy
- Certain ships, mostly T2, have lost all their colours, Creodron in particular. The current extremely dark green needs to be reverted to brighter lighter shade
- New Font -> Too much spacing resulting in large increases of window size/space used. The "small font" which can be applied to the overview is perfect, and needs to have the option be applied globally for those of us with smaller screens. UI scaling to 90% causes far too many problems when the actual size of things like the icons and hud is ok.
- New nebula are far too bright. I appeciate you want to make them stand out, but they're excessively bright and are actually really taxing on the eyes.
- PI tax, possibly.
- No TE nerf/AC nerf to stop them being better blasters than blasters are alongside having brilliant general range
Positives:
- Warp tunnel effect is woo!
- V3 shaders!
- New thruster effects!
- Engine trails!
- All the CQ's! (had a quick look, they're now off again as they're still just eyecandy and lacking a use)
- Hybrid buff!
- General awesomesauce!
- CCP Guard on a "beach"!

At first I was like meh, but then I was like omg new UI pwns. Hated font, but got used to it after 5 minutes. Great patch. Loot all is great. per-ship orbit is great. ship spin counter is great. rubber band selection is great. new commands are great, and drone return is great. improvements to fitting window is great. overall a lot of things that make eve that much easier to use. |

I love the amount of content in this patch, it actually feels fresh! Long overdue changes have finally been made, we have new ships, items, better visuals and mechanics... and I esp. love the engine trails :)
The only major downside is the font. The size and spacing makes it difficult to focus between lines of texts, and it feels too "busy". It is distracting, and takes away my focus when reading information (local, chat, assets, skills etc) ingame.
The second part (somewhat related to the font) is that you gave us a scalable UI, but some things remain unscalable, for example the size of the player boxes in the local channel. Combined with the bulky font it is really distracting. I tried to reduce the UI size, it results in a smaller and somewhat more readable rightclick menu's, but it feels out of sync with the other big bulky boxes in the various windows...
Either fix the font, or give us the old one back, or give us the option to resize more UI components, or else I can forsee headaches trying to read stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like that you try new idea's, but make it practical and do it when its needed. This feels like fixing something that wasn't broken.
Apart from that, I love the direction you are taking right now, keep it coming! |

This release has made me happy in so many ways.
Love the ship fitting to market quickbar, new nebulae are beautiful, didn't die due to bugs after undocking, 100 personal fittings, waypoints now make sense, new ships, release was very fast, downtimes after were minimal.
Am extremely impressed tbh.
Whilst I don't expect every release to fix and meddle with so many different aspects of the game, I have to congratulate you on an extremely well released iteration.
Thanks for making the game I love a whole lot better. Good work - keep it up.
CCP Deserve some plaudits for this release even if it nerfs and buffs some of your favourite ships. Adapt or....well **** off tbh.

teeny minor point. the ship spinning counter doesn't offset, so when you have two screens, it's split at the middle. |

Could you fix the patcher so that you don't have to hit "OK" once it's downloaded? Maybe give us a checkbox for "install when downloaded" or something?
1) Come home from work 2) Start downloading 1.6G patch 3) Wander off to do other things for a while while patch installs 4) Come back to find patch downloaded, but not installed 5) Wait another 20 minutes for patch to run

Good update, but highly disappointed.
Tier 3 battleship's are a waste for those that fly Caldari as Caldari are Missile boats, not rails.
Corp Bookmarks are not what they were hyped up to be. You cannot right click in space, on an object and save its location to the Corp BM folder. You first have to save it to the personal folder, then move it to the corp folder. It is a pain in the ass.
Where are the alliance bookmarks? Same system, just for the alliance. Shouldn't be that hard if you have the system in place for corp BM's.
It is annoying how the corp BM's appear in space. If you don't create a folder for them, and just dump them into the Corp BM area it creates a huge list of BM's on your screen - also it creates doubles if you have the same in the personal folder.
Fuel blocks not being released for this update when they were hyped up to being released - unacceptable.
Finally the UI and chat is a total 100% utter disaster.
the 100% is too large, but when you move it down to 90% the boxes are a great size, but the text is too small.
If you move it back to 100% and play around with the actual chat size in the chat windows, you can make the chat size smaller, but the characters names to the right are still the same size as the UI, so it becomes unproportional. Annoying.
You still cannot read the amounts for stacks of items unless you mouse over them and hover. It is still hard to read unless you hover.
Isn't it possible to go back to the old UI and just increase the text size?
When will you reseed the faction tower BPC's?
I asked numerous times and got no response. Unacceptable communication. |

OK, we need some confrimation from a Dev here...
P4 items export tax used to be 50,000 isk. It is now 1,350,000 isk, a factor of 27 times higher. This new export price is more than the price of some of these goods pre-patch. This change alone has more than doubled the constuction cost of things like control towers.
From your devblog Player-Owned Customs Office:

CCP. I would like to thank you for making the drone regions a real **** hole of a place to reside...
You're telling me you "balanced" hoardes? You completely neutered them. This is a region that requires 2 characters to keep up with 1 character in bounty space. And I dont want to hear that "if you dont like it. move somewhere else crap".
It takes me twice as long to make 25m off a single hoarde now. Due to the fac that I cannot salvage at the same time...
So please explain to me how this is balanced with other anoms... I'm all ears. Is it just a big scheme to get players to buy more plex? Because isk making is clearly something you're not wanting us to do in our current region. Mining is clearly the only profitable way to make isk out here in the drone regions now. Its pure crap.
So myself and all the other drone space dwellers will be anxiously awaiting your explanation of neutering drone space so horribly.

Well..... MOST (but not all) of the things that got done this patch is stuff vets have been waiting on for yearS (as in MULTIPLE, PLURAL, YEARS). So, good on you for finally getting around to doing your jobs I guess devs......
Now. If you could only actually make something NEW to do in the game rather than just making stuff we already did more complicated. That would be a trick the devs could pull that would make it worth paying a sub for.....
So, my official comment to Crucible is this: Back to work devs. This is a tiny, MINISCULE, baby-step in the (mostly) right direction. Don't get anywhere near patting yourselves on the back. You're not even CLOSE to being done or making Eve actually be WORTH what we pay for it.
But, and I hesitate to say this because you devs let this go to your heads SO easily: Thank you (devs) for finally starting to act like you have come to your senses, and actually care about keeping your jobs and company intact.

I think so, they changed the the base price for P4 to 1,350,000 ISK, the Concord Customs Office says that the tax rate should be 10% ergo 135,000 ISK. So somewhere is the value set to 100% instead of 10%, but then again the tariff size should be smaller than the base price so some bright CCP'er should have a look at that...
Edit:Just tested in game, a P4 product with 10% taxrate(from Concord Customs Office) gets a export tax of 135,000 ISK. Tax used to be 50,000 ISK but since they doubled the tax and increased base price I guess it's fairly safe to say it's working as intended.
However if someone puts a POCO with 100% taxrate, it should land at 1,350,000 ISK |

Universe is nice and bright... ship preview window is very very very dark.
Science & Industry window is bugged: * Can't sort by M.E. P.E. group etc. * No columns for M.E. and P.E. and such. * Info that would be in columns doesn't render for anything after the window opens, just the initial stuff when the window is opened.
Font is horrible, but strangely an improvement since it is bigger.
My Charon must be too slow for trails. They only show momentarily when coming out of warp.
Other than the above, it is an impressive graphical improvement. Amazing what CCP can get done when they put their minds to it.

Since the release of the expansion I have been unable to undock to experience the additional content that the cruicible has to offer, simply due to the fact that my mechanic seems to have gotten so drunk that he has smeared poo all over what used to be every caldari ship in my possession. (I think the time he has spent redesigning the raven has really gone to his head.)
I honestly cannot imagine ever flying the floating space turds that are now caldari boats. (Considering the possibly of setting the zoom out on max and tactical overview to distract me... while I wait for my minmitar training to completeGǪ.). Because at this point I wished I flew minmitar boats because letGÇÖs face it, even space wrecks look much better than an entire caldari fleet.

Yes nice expansion, pretty pictures and swooshing engine trails, new ships to go bang-bang.
Now about the money:
Who came up with this new PI tax scheme? HOLY CRAP.
Do you guys realize what that is going to do to POS fuel costs? Hello? People get ready for some serious t2 cost increases. These taxes are at the base of the t2 production supply chain. So their multiplier by the end of the chain - the product - is going to be severe.
And, by the way, is there a list somewhere of the new taxes and a list of the new t2 modules? not obvious in dev notes.
Thanks. |

After the CQ debacle, Crucible sets CCP back into my good graces. Very, very good looking stuff. Still working through the functionality changes. As for the font, it's fine for old dudes like me who have crappy eyesight. As for it being an improvement? Hard to say. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm good with it, but other may see it otherwise. So the feedback is 99% good. 1% feh for the font. Nonetheless, Crucible lets CCP continue to earn it's keep from my wallet, and isn't that really the bottom line? |

The PI tax changes are the result of reference values being increased significantly, and rates themselves being doubled. See: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/CustomsOffice and https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=33468&find=unread for more information.
It's a really good long-term economic change -- just give market prices some time to adjust and don't sell your goods for less profit than you were making pre-crucible. |

Personal bookmark limit is now somewhere under 13000 - we have a member who has 13000 and is having issues. They need to restore the old limit, because it wasn't an issue prior to this patch.
Personally - I have a few thousand, and I don't think the limit should be any lower then about 25,000. Once you start setting up 2 perch points on every gate, an off-grid for every gate, perches for stations, 4-5 safe-spots in every system, it gets up to a few thousand very quickly. |

Haven't run into any issues yet, and everything looks fairly sexy. The "Enter CQ" button is a good addition that I didn't notice on SiSi. New warp tunnels are sexy, the warp-jump button is sexy, new nebulae are sexy... Haven't tried the new BC yet, but I'll assume they're also "sexy".
Oh, and of course the RETURN OF THE ENGINE TRAILS
Good jorb there, CCP. This is a great new expansion. I'm sure there's a few kinks to work out, but so far most things look fairly clean. Also: Team Papercut in Atlanta, great job on all the "little" features you guys cranked out so quickly. I'm liking it. [IMG]http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt96/lincolnlogolas/ASSlogo.jpg[/IMG] |

I have a few small problems that annoy me:
- Cargo containers from wrecks don't seem to remember their position like they used to. They seem to be all opening middle, tiny, and tabbed. - Loot All should automatically close the window for unanchore cans. - Bookmark folders have been reversed alphabetically (I'm getting S, 2, 1 instead of 1, 2 S). - Drones don't have engine trails! - Some ships' engine trails don't work right: my Machariel has the old engine effects when it's moving, when it warps they apper for a second and then disappear. (Compared to a much slower Megathron that does have engine trails). - Opening and closing the ESC menu makes space go greyscale for a second bit. - 100% mode is a bit too big and 90% mode is a bit too small (95% mode?) - In 90% mode, the icons and brackets are all smudged, like they're only being half rendered. - In 90% mode, ammo count is almost unreadable. |

regarding the new font: I can kinda agree with both points being argued here. Yes, the new font is clearer and easier to read, but it doesnt really look very good. I feel kinda like i'm reading off a computer made in the 80's. Maybe an option for those who want readability and another option for those who want things to look good?
Also, was it really necessary to remove the separators from numbers? For me at least its somewhat harder to read numbers with just spaces for separators.
The new texture for the Gallente Comet doesnt really fit all that well. I realize you guys are going for consistency with the factions, but its kinda like you took a really nice car an dipped it in a vat of camo-paint. The original model obviously wasnt designed for that.
Apart from this though.. everything else looks pretty good. |

Corrupted patch file, asks me if I want to download and run the repair tool, I tell it to do so.
Repair tool downloads, pops up a "waiting" mouse icon for a couple seconds, then exits out having done NOTHING.
Trying to run the repair tool again does NOTHING.
Why do you even include this "repair tool" when it has NEVER EVER FIXED ANYTHING in all the times I've had to try to use it?
Crucible for me so far is 100% FAIL - and I don't have the damned bandwidth cap available to download the entire game. If this borked repair tool isn't fixed, this is a GAME BREAKING ISSUE.

Good job towards alot of things ccp how ever there is one issue i woudl liek to bring to your attention. Drone Hordes are further nerfed . The loot is reduced and the whole thing has become a long grinding process. There is no advantage of one having multiple accounts and tring to do one horde anymore. A carrier can do them as fast as battle ship now that hrdes coem in waves. I wish ccp woul had added more danger to the hordes not make them even more boring. Hordes dont provide standing, bounty and any form of mods / Faction mods. To where bounty sapce can prove 200 Mil plus worth of mods in some single loot. a Single horde provide 35 mil only in salaveg and refinable compunds.Whish is now further reduced. Hordes were a good soucre of minerals in past now its at the point it not even worth doing. I can go in bounty space and with less effort make fast isk. I have access to both types of regions drone sec and bounty. I am just pointing out the un-balance. I would not like to think that ccp is supporting a certain group of people/region over teh others. there are eve players that just kill mind less rats and make instant isk to buy plex. and then there are people that take time to salavge and refine and build. the ones that actually seed the market. But it seems that way point click making fast isk to meet plex is in favor then people who are builders, More loot has been added to none drone sec regions while dronesec loot is nerfed (average 700 glossy per horde has be reduced to around 80) . This is unfair. This hints favor over one group of peopel/ region over then the other. |

The UI scaling needs more options. Even set to 90% everything is larger than it was and using more valuable screen real-estate. If we could have 70% and 80% options that would probably help those of us that don't have larger screens.
That said it looks great when I play on the TV. |

It's your fitter setting, either use "show all" or check all the different types of sigs and make a new "sig"-filter. Otherwise the sigs will disappear when you get them >25%.

Every other ship has the description followed by bonuses. And, there are no words breaking up the text. Can we get some uniformity? |

i) Everytime I open my ingame notepad, I recieve the following message:
The text of the note you entered is too long. It currently contains 5861 chars. The maximum length is about 3900 chars.
Click Yes to continue editing the note, otherwise click No and the changes will not be saved.
This message will persist on appearing even when the notpad is closed.
ii) Whilst in space; although I have all ships, stargates, collidable structures etc enabled on my overview (they are all visible in the overview column) I am not able to see these items in space (they are not identfiable with their relative tags). The only things which I can see in space are mission npc's. Note: This only happens on one of my accounts. |

Wow, you failed this big time and are really screwing the market. There needs to be some serious adjustments to taxes for PI.

I especially like the improved resposiveness of the client. After a jump it used to take several seconds before I could issue a command to the client, like warping to the next gate. Now the client becomes responsive again almost immediately.
I had already noticed this on sisi but thought it was due to lower server load on the test server or something. Nice surprise to see that it's the same now on TQ |

I think the patch was great except I EXTREMELY dislike the changes to Drone space Anoms. There used to be a point to having a carrier until it was nerfed. Now I try running them and my drones keep getting aggrod even when all the aggro is already on my carrier, so all my drones get killed off.
That alone is enough to make me want to stop playing altogether. I just got the ability to fly a carrier on two characters, and right when I do they become pointless in running hordes.
I think it was a bad idea. I think instead of nerfing the drone regions all the time, maybe someone should look at the bounty regions. People make massive amounts of money running sanctums but they don't get nerfed. Why always the drone regions? It doesn't make sense to me.
All I can say is I tried playing tonight after the new expansion and I had to stop. It just wasn't worth doing anymore. Yes, it's just a game but I was looking forward to being able to use my carriers on Hordes. Now there's nothing to look forward to. |

I skill to torps V for this ship (not a big bombers fan, nor using BS), and at least I would like to have been informed before the patch notes. Seems that I will still use Drakes for years to come. I was very excited about the tier 3 BC's, and that bad surprise kind of blew the pleasure of the other improvements, wich are pretty sexy (especially new nebulaes and some UI improvement). I'd especially like to pay my complements to the new Font designer. As a player in rapidly advancing middle age its a sight for sore eyes.
However there is one issue I would like to raise and thats the new warp effect. After only a few minutes of watching this the nausea it induces is quite unpleasant. Indeed it seems just about perfectly tuned to trigger a migraine .
Now speaking to others I know I'm not alone in this and so would ask if you could please consider adding a graphics option to turn the warp effect down or off by say >> 90%.

I very much like Crucible.
I have two things though.
The window for market orders... When you type in a price when putting up an order, there isn't quite space enough for the digits - it makes it a bit hard to see what you're typing - could you add perhaps a few more characters room on there?
I am also having graphics bugs and trouble now - my system looks like it's overheating, but my monitoring programmes says it isn't - flickering, lock-ups and my mouse turning into a big blob of distorted colours. Was the same for a while with Tyrannis or Apocrypha. Cannot identify a local problem or recreate it in other games.
The look of things and the features are cool - and on behalf of my gallentean friends: Thanks for the hybrid gun tweaks - as one pilot said yesterday "Hey! Today I feel sorry for everyone non-Gallente!" |

It sounds like you need to look at your brackets, which are an additional overview setting option. You can "Show all brackets". If this doesn't work -- your first overview tab will sometimes malfunction -- you can create a second overview tab, select all your items you wish to see with icons in space, save this as a "bracket profile" and then load it into your overview tab number 2 along with of course the normal overview settings you use for missions.
I hope this fixes it for you, and my apologies if the answer is too basic. GL. |

The Crucible expansion looks very nice indeed after one day of playtime:
So far:
Pros:
1. Nebulae, starry sky and warp effect with the trails, very nice 2. Ships look much better now 3. Combat more enjoyable with all new features 4. New CQs: stylish, particularly the Amarrian with the status
Cons:
1. New fonts: I preferred the old sci-fi style, gave a more futuristic impression (font size is not yet a matter to me) 2. The new old icons for turrets(of any kind): please bring back the old new ones(or some improved version of them) as soon as possible. As an industrialist i prefer to manufacture real weapons not children's toys(only turn off in this expansion) 3. The new sound effect for mining I'm not entirely convinced about. I still miss the sound of ore being extracted from rocks.
But overall an improved gamer experience with this expansion so far for me(just please change the turret icons)

I like Crucible. Space is looking gorgeous now. Corp bookmarks are great. Here are my 50 cent:
Jump Gates are looking like completely bathed in too bright ambient light, makes it look flat.
Scanning with probes 1: There's something fishy going. I don't know if the reason are the new filter settings. I was able to scan down everything in our wh with 8 probes good skills and superiour equipment by: Scan, step down on step scan range, move probes together to keep intersecting coverage of scan space. Now this behaves strange: Sometimes signatures just disappear, and I really had my filters all checked. I even had this phenomena when I used the 'Show All' filter.
Scanning with probes 2: The mouse look feels strange, not like the camera when moving around your own ship. I noticed the movement speed was very high on Sisi before Crucible hit TQ, now it's wrong in the other direction, feels gooey.
PI new taxes 1: Please get your information management straight, so many people(me included) haven't been aware of the new base prices. This was very unpleasent.
PI new taxes 2: You adjusted the baseline prices for the various PI products, but are you going to keep it updated? And if yes, how often? It may end in a spiral of sky rocketing prices, since the taxes will be handed to the customers.
Corp bookmarks/locations The polling mechanism for new bookmarks/locations should be reduced. Hey you guys send a packet to the client when his/her wallet changes, so why not update the bookmarks the same way? Too much traffic with too many members in a corp?

Apart from my own experience in Drone space I cannot ignore the comments made by other players about the new expansion. I feel sorry for you guys that such hard work seems to end up in a stream of negative feedback. In general the expansions always were a major improvement, however I think this time you managed to achieve the opposite. I really wonder in how far CCP listens to feedback, but the worry about the change in anomalies in drone space was already communicated prior the release, but you guys still went ahead and did it anyway. Another way to mess it up is the high tax implementation on IP. If you guys are trying to do this with the intent to drive up the market price for mattGÇÖs produced via IP, then I think you need to do it more gradual, and not such a big jump. Also you are going to lose customers, because the game is going to demand too much resource for some folks to be able to play the game adequately on their system. I am sorry to say, but the positive in the expansion is overshadowed by too much negativity, believe me, I rather would have seen otherwise. And this is only the feedback from your English speaking customers, I wonder was has been said on the Russian and other language forums in regards to this topic.
Best of luck on your next release.

Excellent deployment with a rather forgiveable extra hour thrown in for good measure. Pure Win.
There are a few issues that need to be discussed but overall a job well done.
Props to your staff.
One last thing. A shout out to all the former staff who played a role in this expansion who are no longer employed at CCP. Your contribution is much appreciated.

There is a new feature in Crucible - display of jump bridges of my Alliance on the star map. Usually, there are allied allianses such are Solar Fleet and Solar Wing. As far as I am the member of Solar Wing alliance I can see it-¦s bridges but don-¦t see bridges of Solar Fleet Alliance. Without this ability the feature is quite useless for me as far as I can use (and usually use in fact) Solar Fleet bridges also but don-¦t see them on the star map.
I would suggest You to consider ability to include allied alliance bridges dislpay on the star map. |

I downloaded the patch, the patch installed itself, the patch failed, i ran the repairtool, it worked. Nice!
I turned on max details and undocked.
And i was like: OMG! I have spent like one hour idling in space watching my ship flying around in this lovely nebula.
btw: i like the new font. its new but easier to read.
Good work CCP. Welcome back to FIS!

Flawless patching in less than 15 minutes total, rearranging the UI, figuring out the changes in scanning and corporation bookmarks/locations, checking the towers to find everything working as intended, logging in a second account to check the load on my system, fiddling with the (new) graphic settings, etc., etc.
All in all, in less then one and a half hours everything was to my liking and I was admiring the new view.
Thanks CCP, for me this expansion delivers. Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

The UI is nice and clear, and seems a lot faster thanks!
The close button actually works now, which is fantastic!
New backgrounds are nice, but perhaps a little too busy, it can be hard to pick out the ships against some of the brighter star filled backgrounds.
I like the new warp to jump function, a lot of the changes in crucible seem to make the game much more intuitive, good job!
Love the Raven remodel, can we have the blackbirds done next please?
One small gripe, the Caldari Navy ships have a pretty awful new skin, what is that meant to be exactly it looks like it was done in MS Paint or Minecraft. Not a fan of this new look at all, sorry. You know what'd be nice? Perhaps in the future give us a selection of skins to choose from on some hulls, especially the faction hulls.
Overall 8/10 for this expansion. |

1) love the eyecandy , engine trails.. cyno effect.. its win - would love to see the trails a bit longer tho, maybe you could just implement a "slider" in the client so numbnuts like me could do spaceship-acrobatics :)
2) UI rescale = win , not much love for the lettertype tho.. but guess thats getting used to
3) anomolies changes , needed.. and its good :) ( screw the drone boys )
4) the patch itself was a bit of a fail, had to run the repair tool to make clients work ( on both pc's )
5) probing ... errmm... wth ? mah probes!!!
6) new TII modules, niceeeee
7) Fuel blocks... Love you!!!! *kiss*
8) new Tier battlecruiser... yarrr!!!
9) corp bookmarks.. , as soon the WH bro's can actually probe again... they will love you for it.
all in all , its win.. you keep my subs for a while :) |

i will add that i love all the change made, but since im playing on my laptop and the UI scalling to 90% rly adds alot more stuff i can see on my 1280/800 screen, i would like to request if we could get an overview scalling as a separate scaled item please ^^ it's great as is but some stuff is just too tiny on my screen, if i could boost it by another 5% that would be just perfect.

Well here's my two pennies worth:
1) From July this year my Graph in PI resource went AWOL and couldn't be fixed > Crucible fixed it so YAY for whatever whoever and whenever it was fixed > Thank you
2) The new font is awful! It's like some Amarrian let his Slaver Hound at a font book and this is the result. Please can we have a choice of fonts and styles e.g. extended or compact like we had before so we DO have a choice.
3) The nebula and star fields are simply DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! First thing I did was whack my graphics up to max and undock...quickly followed by a loud "WOW!" in my Local System aka Home!
4) Loving the new warp tunnel effects > yeehaww watch out planets!
5) As with the highlighted in blue skill training in the Char Sheet would it be possible to add that to the Agent in the Destination Station you dock at for active missions so you can see who you shoul dbe clicking on when you auto-dock please?
The addition of setting a course to a Station is fantastic, thank you, but for those that run multiple missions at the same time it gets a bit of a drag going back through the Journal again. I know, all you haters will say just don't set course for the station and head for the system but the Station is what is given in the Mission Briefing.
This would be really really a fantastic addition or alternativily add the Station as a column to the Journal where it list Missions, Expires etc?
Overall though, fantastic work CCP and ex-CCP'ers, I'm falling in love with EVE all over again and I'm 8+ years in.
All the very best to all.

Personally I wished they wouldn't put motion and music on the Splash Screen, it's annoying as anything and when you are running multiple clients slows logon on down and deafens you at the same time with double haunting music...but it is a good tune
Maybe it could be a one time only thing like the EULA or an option to "downgrade" the Splash Screen in Settings

Dearest CCP,... I have got to congratulate you on a job well done. This is probably one of the first expantions that ive witnessed that has gone well,...smooth and easy.
I like the Gallente BS,...nice.
Scence ive just got back in game about a week ago i really havent had time to mission any in my mega but im sure its all good and getter than it has ever been. Before the patch though, i was experiencing one thng that was quite annoying and that was wieh mining, i was getting a noice like a T-1 miner and was very annoying to say the least. AFTER the patch, i get a bit of a rumble and a thud when the lasers are firing,...i like, very realistic,..although the rumble could be a bit louder to simulate the lasers firing while sitting in my pod. Use the first person perspective when thinking these things thru,...."what would you here when sitting in the pod" In the past it seems as if you all programmed the sounds as a "third person perspective", im not flaming, just pointing this out. The first person perspective would be much better IMO.
AS FOR THE UI,..I played with it a bit last night and the font is a bit odd, dont get me wrong its good but it is a bit hard to see, especially at 90%,..the 100% is just too damn big, ATTRUSIVE would be the discription. I like the 90%,...but the font could be changed up or even make a selection for the user,....again just a suggestion.
Thank you for all the great content, Ill get back to you later with further reports, and keep up the exelent work.

Really like most of the changes. (Not sure about the new font, looks cheap, but maybe I'll adjust with time.) I am having a problem with the new font. at 100% it is much to large and full of jaggies (this might be my lousy computer requiring lowest settings). The bigger problem is that when i set the UI to 90%, which looks much better, the numbers do not seem to scale, and so when i'm bidding on expensive ships, i cannot see the entire price in the price box, the ISK cents get cut off.
Please fix, this isn't critical, but it is very annoying. |

Even if the tax changes are bugged. If you get charged more tax, dont quit selling your PI...
CHARGE MORE FOR IT! ARE YOU INSANE?
The one person who stated,"Hey stop crying and wait for the market settle," is the only person who doesn't sound like a lunatic. The whole point of all these PI changes is to make it more competitive and therefore more valuable.
No one. NO ONE living in null or low sec should be b****ing about interbus tax. Grab some friends, blow the IB PCO the F*** up and start charging every one else on your planet export tax, and laugh your a** to the bank.
This is causing market fluctuations it is not "THE END OF PI." People need it for outposts, POS, and industry. As with all things when the demand for this stuff sky rockets, because as you claim people will just stop making it because they feel they dont have the need to charge more for there PI goods when more tax is applied, the price for PI will go up and the concord tax will seem like nothing.
Im sorry the people endlessly crying about the PI tax, either dont understand markets, or worse they dont want to do the work to build there own offices.
Right now theres solo pi people saying F*** you the PCO gantry etc is too expensive. Maybe you should stop playing eve solo and create a PI corp. PI is moving towards what it takes to run POS etc, thats a good thing. The social aspect of eve is what makes it attractive. If you want to play eve completely solo go back to running missions. Or in fact just uninstall and go back to playing freelancer. The social connections you make in this game are more valuable then any isk you could be raking in, at the end of the day if you have no isk and no friends then theres no reason to be playing this game at all.
Im sitting on my PI till the market adjusts. If you do PI in empire I suggest you do the same. If at current prices you wont make back at what you loose in concord export tax wait until you do.
This aint rocket science folks.
PS If you dont like living in drone space, make your money some other way, or move. No one cares about your hordes. Anoms are still broken as much of PVE is broken in this game, what they did to them was a tweak not a fix. |

Im having issues with the Corp Bookmarks
As i have a very disorganized personal bookmark list (imagine all the bookmarks on the root folder), i dont have a way to drop a bookmark that i have in the middle of my list easily to the corp bookmarks tab.
I have tried exporting it to an Item but corp bookmarks (at least on the mac) wont be added if you are adding it from a Bookmark Item. The only way i was able to move one of my bookmarks there was to Edit the name, make it start with "Z", then sort them by label and that way its right next to the Corp Bookmarks and i can drop it there.
The way i would like it is whenever i right click a Bookmark it should have an option "Move to Corp Bookmarks", that would be just perfect for me.
Aside from that great expansion :) |

The "new" Apoc skin (if that's the right word) is hideous. And it has no reflection at all (which may be the problem).
The freighters are very bright and shiny. Most likely due to the light increase and them not getting a reskin.

The removal of W-space jumps from API is very disappointing. It wouldn't be so bad if NPC kills were also removed since anyone can still tell that a system is active and its inhabitants vulnerable. The lack of counter balance that null still has local and intel via API available smacks of a null-centric undocumented "feature". But, hopefully, this is a bug rather than a "feature"? Crucible Expansion
Positives, (I'm sure I'll find more as I go along): 1. I love the nebulae. Really beautiful. 2. Increased ship details are nice.
Negatives: 1. It still seems to immediately lock up on my MacPro although bizarrely I can play it fine on my less powerful MacBook Pro. I've tried everything so far to no avail. Bah! 2. There's not enough font size control. The settings only seem to affect a certain amount of text on the screen and a lot stays resolutely big - urg! 3. The graphics are really beautiful but to me the general feel of the interface feels a lot more clunky and large than the previous version.*
*If I could get the bloody thing to run on my MacPro (20" screen X 2) it wouldn't be so bad but the screen on my MacBook Pro is just 13"! I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. |

Doesn't seem like it. I've done everything trying to get feedback on this. Mainly, was this intentional? I realize of course that the "fix" was. I'm wondering if the consequences of this change were fully thought out though. I'd also like to know, since drone anoms weren't in any way balanced with this patch, if they will be soonGäó and if so, exactly when soonGäó will be.
I've gotten no replies on the forums and when I opened a petition I got the generic "I'm afraid GMs cannot discuss or make any decision regarding game design. ". Nor has a GM or Dev felt the need to reply to the topics started about it in GD (other than to lock one and point it here).
CCP, I'm not really sure why you've declined to comment on this issue at all, but I'd really appreciate some feedback on our feedback. I was told this was where I should go to post such issues I saw with Crucible. This of course goes for all feedback being given here, not just this issue (though of course this is the one I'm interested in). I'm trying to refrain from crossposting in a dozen different places to try to get a reply, but at the moment I feel like you're all busy posting replies to the Crucible trailer thread and not reading this.
Edit: PS, if this is because you're unsure of how to answer this, or exactly what damage you may or may not have cause, etc. That's fine, just let me know that you don't have the metrics at this time, but will be looking at them and balancing them next. I can handle waiting a little while, I'm just uncomfortable with a vague "we didn't do them" because CCP has a bad track record of getting back around to things they've missed (which is one thing you guys have worked on with this expansion, I hope it continues). |

Took me 2 tries downloading the patch to get ONE that worked. Repair tool, AS USUAL, did absolutely nothing to fix ANYTHING - why CCP even bothers with that total waste of time effort and bandwidth I do not understand.
UI changes broke a lot of stuff. Autopilot no longer optimises. nebula and instation backgrounds so bright they wash out the UI. UI font issues got WORSE. Had to completely FIX my UI layout again - only to have the broken "smartwindow" DISfuntionality procede to mess up half of my setup before I even got it finished the first time around.
SO far, I'm seeing nothing but MINUSES out of this expansion, which makes 3 in a row for CCP.
Says a lot to me that PLEX pricing has gone into MAJOR COLLAPSE the day after this turkey of an expansion was relased.
OK, I do have to concede that the new font is more readable - but it appears to be more readable because the NON-ADJUSTABLE SIZE of the font got noticeably bigger, more than the actual font changes helped. And the changes to the "Route" display on the main screen overall are nice, makes that more readable - so I guess this expansion isn't a TOTAL loss as far as I'm concerned, just 98% of a loss.

Negative for me is that things takes up way to much room on the screen now, for example in "items". Also, whay does the logo in "station services" have to take up 1/3 of the screen height?

Dumb complaint. Stacking the cargo hold with the hangar is ok - but the client does not remember that I've separated cargo when I go back into a station. |

I haven't been able to check out a lot yet, but from what I've experienced so far I'm very happy with this expansion Captain Quarters seems more ressource hungry though than with Incarna. Also I like the new font. Download and update went also smooth for me.
Thanks and keep up the good work CCP! |

Epic fail on the PI changes. The taxes are WAY overdone. Also if POCO's are gonna be that easy to take out then they need to be super cheap to put up.
When you first introduced PI pos fuel costs went up enormously. Now they are going to go up even more. CCP are you just trying to get players to stop having pos's?
Terrible changes, this does not balance anything at all. In fact it complicates the game and the markets further, which is the last thing EVE needs.
You took something that was working perfectly fine and broke it. Just another way for you to continue chasing people away from the game. |

Well overall a very nice expansion. Lots of good tweaks, good graphic overhaul.
The bad is the tax rate for pi. I can't afford rl money to play the game and need to buy plex. I did this with pi factory planets. Right now they are not worth it anymore. Setting up poco's in low sec is also not wise for me since I cannot defend them. Will have to look into other isk making options. Probable train one character for joining the vanguard bandwagon and let the pi accounts get inactive.
So bottom line for me is that it is still a great expansion, but will cost ccp an account or 2. |

Thank you CCP for this awesome expansion!
I love almost every part of the update, with very few exceptions. Read this as a constructive feedback on the game in general, now that you are fixing the small things that have annoyed us for years :D
One of the very few bad things to come out of the new patch is the new skins for the gallente shuttle and some of the navy variants (Federation Navy Comet, Raven navy issue other Caldari Navy issue ships). I understand that the gallente shuttle had to be put in line with the other gallente tech I skins, but I will still miss the yellow boat (like I miss the brass colored dominix from before Trinity). But I have never understood why spaceships should be colored after patterns that are used as camouflage on planet surfaces. I particularly dislike the new ACU pattern for Caldari Navy. It would be much cooler (and realistic) if the ships had other paint jobs. The Khanid ships are by far the most badass looking ships in the game (please never change the deep black with blue ligts, thank you). Maybe the Caldari Navy could be deep blue (still connection to the Navy on earth, but more spacy) or have large metallic looking parts, reflecting the new nebulae. A silvery or blue metallic look would suit the dark grey of caldari on the special issue ships IMO.
The new feature of showing the alliance jump bridges on the star map is very welcome, but it isn't really useful at the moment. 1., it only shows JBs belonging to you own alliance instead of the jump bridges you can use. With the new mechanics (no password) it should be possible to see allied JBs on the map (and you should be able to fuel them, I do not know if this can be done now). 2., the autopilot should be able to use the JB information to calculate a route. I am not sure that the autopilot should be able to jump you through a JB, but no one autopilots 0.0 anyway (If they want to get to the destination alive). 3., it should be possible to color the jump bridge lines (curves) independently of the others for greater distinction and readability.
It is about time that the skill queue gets integrated in the character sheet. Since the original implementation I have found it strange that you have to open the queue from the 'skills' tab, only to get the exact same information (your curent skills) dublicated to a new window. Why aren't the queue just showing right next to the skill list? With the new interface this is double strange, since the two are scaled slightly different and thus not aligning vertically (design ocd nightmare).
The drag and drop market feature is awesome, but the market needs a more thoughout overhaul. In stead of just dragging fits to the market quickbar, you should be able to drag anything into, not just the quickbar, but anywhere in the market window. Say I have an item in my hagar and want to buy more, then I just drag it into the market window and voila! If I drag a ship from the ship hangar into the market window I should get the info for the ship itself if it is unfitted and a folder with the fit in quickbar if it is fitted. The 'show market info' option in the right click context menu should take you to the relevant page in the market (as it does) and open the relevant market group (like EFT does it). Then you can easily browse to other meta levels.
One thing that irritates me more than it should (I have written this in two other feedback threads in the past year) is the inconsistency between market groups and item sorting. Please, please fix the 'sort by type' or add a 'sort by market group' option that does exactly that, sorts your items by market group. Of course nested exactly like they are on the market. The 'Group' identifier on each item has absolutely no value at all. I don't care that 'confiscated viral agent' is 'biohazard'. I can find it in the market under 'trade goods > radioactive goods'. The other trivia (biohazard) belongs in the description. water and oxygen should be placed with the planetary items where they belong. Mercoxit mining crystal is sorted before all the others because it has the group 'Marcoxit mining crystal', all the others have the group 'Mining crystal'. Wtf?!
The drag and drop feature in eve should work more like it does in Windows and Mac OS: if you click and hold on some item the window containing that item should not go to the front. It is extremely annoying that the target window always gets hidden behind the window containing the item. Also, the window handling itself could need some love. Double clicking on the window bar on top should maximize the window to screen resolution (minus neocom), not collapse it (or you should have the ability in settings to choose behavior, then bittervets won't complain). I love the windows handling in Windows 7 (drag to top to maximize, drag to left to fill left half of screen, double click bar to maximize) you could make capsuleers lives easier stealing those ideas.
Again, I would like you to know that I am really impressed with all the new features, and I love playing the game. It is only because the game means something to me that I have taken the time to write all this. After this expansion I now believe that something will be done to adress these issues!
Cheers! |

I am probably repeating something that has been said many times but CCP every thing is awesome in this patch but one thing. Your new Teir 3's? Take them back to the drawing board on their stats, they look great but are not HALF of what you made them to be. I got the Tornado and yeah good sniper... So? Thats boring and all this ship is good for is suicide ganks. Oh and clearing EWAR off a field of battle. Oracle is the only one worth looking at and its still meh. I guess my thoughts are that you get very little out of a ship that is VERY skill intensive. Oh and I thought Caldari are the race who use missiles because you really seem determind to leave us with MEH Blaster boats. Otherwise good job and I might dust off my Tornado if you make it worth it. |

I think most of what you have done is great and really hope that this is just the first step, keep going with the good work and continue the balancing, improvements and enhancements.
That said I am horrified at the fact that the ability to search through your assets has been reduced to just a single string. I place wide area buy-orders and really need to not only search by name but also by quantity. When I have trit in practically every station, I want to know the stations where there are more than 1,000,000 units. Why did you do this?
I also dislike the way windows are grouped and the only option not to group means that every time you open a window, it is at the default size and position. As the size is too small, you first need to expand the window. Then as the position is never going to be right as it appear over the previous window, you then need to move the window. So that is too much hassle to use, so using the grouped windows is the only option (that does not cause the amount of rage that results in k/b being driven through monitor).
Finally, when you log out and the client restarts, the password box no longer has focus which is slightly annoying.
Sorry of these issues have already been mentioned but the thread is too long for me to read all of it. |

I haven't really played yet, so I pretty much have only seen the new nebula and warp tunnels, which I do like . What I really dislike though, is the UI scaling or rather the new font. The typewriter font you have choosen is way to big when scaled to 100%, while everything else, like labels and stack sizes, is the same size as before. If you scale down to 90%, the new font, while still rather ugly, has an acceptable size while everything else is too small. Especially the stack sizes, which are almost unreadable while sitting half a meter away from the screen. You probably - hopefully - had a reason to use a different font, but the sizing definitely needs some tweaking.
Also, load times are way up now. It's taking me now 15 or more seconds of black screen before anything shows up on startup, while it may have been 5 seconds before the patch. Ingame loading seems to be slower, too.
So far, nothing much has changed. |

Yo everyone,
im too lazy to write the same again, so here some copy paste from another topic:
" While i agree with most of the changes, i find that ccp hit too hard on the dram's speed. It used to go 6k, nau its 5k... dats not 'slightly' slower... dats a totall smack in the face lol. Generelly, it seems that things got nerfed/buffed bit too harsh in this expansion.
Imho, the Dram is supposed to be the fastest thing in space. Sure it was too fast. But nau, its just 'some' frig... Also, why on earth does it have a drone bay? Its one of the smallest frigs, a drone bay just doesnt make any sense here... It shud be removed n just added to gun dps.. what ya say?
R.I.P Dramiel, Welcome Daredevil :D "
...other than that, ccp u made a fantastic job. The game looks n feels so awesome nau, thank you! |

I'm sure you'll get enough positive comments, that's why i'll focus on the things that bothers me
1. Salvaging and the loot all button is a half baked idea from people who don't salvage.
We still have to go through the motion of opening each container, going up and down the screen 35 times.
We gave you plenty of good ideas to eliminate this gruesome clickfest
-Auto-loot option on salvage module -Shortcut key to open container in the overview -Drag and drop of multiple containers from the overview to the cargohold
2. Strange behavior from all windows
- Can't pin them anymore - Chat windows disappearing on log in - Portrait unloading for unknown reason (getting gray portraits) - Minimizing chat windows might cause the window to appear in double [...]
3. The jukebox is playing 1 song then browses all songs at lightning speed into an infinite loop. This bug has been going on for over a year now. Still not fixed !?

Logged in last night and spent an hour flying about taking screenshots of the new nebula. Beautiful.
Also very impressed with the new captain's quarters, immediate warping at gates and implementation of corp locations (as I live in wormhole space, this is a Godsend).
Kudos to all CCP employees that contributed to this expansion - truly majestic.
Did have an issue getting up off the couch after sitting down in a Caldari captain's quarters, and seemed to find myself loading back into the Amarrian ones again and again (out looking at my ship when I'd originally been in the room) while checking on my PI. All forgotten though when I undocked and once again stared at the heavens. |

Very impressed with the patch - it looks great. Lots of great new features.
Frame rate in captains quarters dropped. Normally sits on 60 fps (v sync) - but its at 40 fps now on a 2600k + 2xGT560 SLI. I will try it again later to see if it was just a one off.
The only real issue I have is that the Naga as a Caldari ship should use Torps. It makes the Caldari disadvantaged not having its main weapon platform available.
Not many who concentrated on Caldari over the last few years would have large hybrids trained up due to how useless they were, but they almost all have torps trained. Admittedly my gunnery skills are average and missile skills are good but the Naga with 3 rof mods in the lows it is just over 200dps better than a HAM drake - but effectively tankless. I wouldn't wanna take on a well tanked HAM drake with the Naga.
Keep releasing quality expansions like this and I'll be happy. Can't spell crap without rap. |

1) I really like the new font and it's made my EVE experience undoubtedly much better... but I did some testing yesterday and looks like I'm in a fortunate situation- 100% scaling suits my screen size and resolution, in my use case everything is perfect.
2) scaling to 90% on 24"@1920x1200 simply does not look good. There are several issues, worst is what is probably the source of all "my eyes get sore/tired/burn" -comments, they are real and the fault is EVE:
- the font looks like it's a bitmap font that is scaled to a non-native size, and anti-aliased, making it blurry and actually hurting my eyes. Idk the actual tech behind the font, but problem looks very similar to a bitmap font displayed at wrong size. UI scalings should lock to nearest native font size, and work from there.
- there are several scaling errors in various parts of the UI; words appear in different font sizes (Items list), text is not aligned to baseline, words are not aligned to left.
After this test I fully understand the rage and think people should seriously be more chill about each other and the font. CCP should also look into this technical issue, it is not as simple as different opinions.
That said, I've never felt this good flying in space, it looks drop-dead gorgeous. |

Jukebox playing fast sounds like a sample rate issue. If you use an audio interface and not a soundcard - make sure you have not got it set to a high sample setting. I have had this issue before but only on the high end gear.(Usually running asio drivers) Can't spell crap without rap. |

CCP, you just killed solo industrials producing PI materials. Because: - New taxes are way too high, or the price on the market will be multiplied by 10 or 20. It's not really a problem, if it's intended that all related materials will see their prices increase a lot... - To avoid these taxes, PI players in corp/alliances will shoot INTERBUS and place their own struct - Solo players will not be able to do that (too expensive, or their struct will be shoot down by other guys) which mean their selling prices will be way too high.
So solo players that find their way in this career will now have to forget it, start from scratch and loose the last X months (years?) they spend to learn the 3.5M skills point needed to be an Elite PI From one day to another you can't play anymore eve like you enjoyed until now.

Overall I am very pleased with this expansion the only exceptions to this are:
1. The POCOGÇÖs tax rates in WSpace 17% is way too high 10 % to 15% would be more realistic.
2. The very limited access to gantry BPC's for the smaller Corp say with 6 or so ACTIVE members who are locked into a WH. They wonGÇÖt have the man power to spare and/or ease of access; a Corp CEO may not want his Corp involved in incursions or FW for similar reasons, whereas larger corps can detach a group to be dedicated to this.
It often seems, at least on the surface that the smaller groups are not favoured by you, when it comes to this sort of thing, not sure why. Internal politics or otherwise maybe their voice is not loud enough like the big Corps and Alliances.
This makes me feel this specific element of the BPC access has not been thought through fully. _ _ _ _ _ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
A thought to consider.
A point I feel that should be looked at is the Corporation Bookmark folders, there should be the ability for members with a certain level of authority to pass word them just like Hangers. Why? you may ask, well you may want to very quickly pass out book marks within the Corp structure/hierarchy but only to certain trusted key personnel for war purposes etc; especially as spies can and will infiltrate Corps. And I am sure they will be eager to try and access Corp BMs if they can.
Apart from that, this seems to have been a good update so far.

Two things I love most so far:
THE FONT
Now text is much more easy to read on my CRT.
THE STARS
As anyone with basics of physics/astronomy knows you just can't see stars in space, lest nebulae, without BFG telescope. But this time I don't give a damn. Seeing all these stars knowing all of them are systems in EVE world... That's just awesome and I have no words to describe it. It's the very first time in my EVE experience when I actually feel I'm in the space.
Oh and of course tons of other improvements (I fly Gallente, y'know ;) ). There are warts and glitches too, like people not showing in station guest list, and to some people certain changes are less welcome than to others. But overall it's very good expansion. Keep up the good work. Thanks. |

If someone now shoots the Interbus COs I'm using and builds their own, it's good for them. I need to rethink my PI and most probably will leave RvB and join a real corp for a change.
My specialty is not useless, I need to adapt. This is not a game like chess with a certain set of rules. New Eden is a living universe, constantly evolving. Those who adapt, prosper.

PI taxes as stand are likely to cause a large, long term, undesirable effect on the player economy.
And, sadly, I say this while making a fortune on it, I want that to stop, because I can see where this is going to go badly for the game in general. |

You got wrong impression :) Of course it's normal that playing in group bring more values (and the group is more than the sum of solo). It's also normal that some area of the game are not available if you play solo. But it's not normal that an area that was available to solo since more than 1 year (if I correctly remember), where players have put money, efforts and time is now just unavailable any more. And for which reason ? Just because they put very high taxes. Why so high ? For me it's not necessary. Lower taxes will reduce the difference between poco and interbus/concord, which mean it may be still valuable also for solo players.
But you say it yourself : after this change, you'll probably stop solo PI. So this patch just removed a complete way of playing Eve to solo player. It's like playing chess game with a set of rules that changes in the middle of the game. |

Its not only PI which has changed a LOT.
The Drone Region got a real badly nerf. Doing Drone Hordes AGAIN was heavily nerfed, which cuts my income from those more then triple. What i now do is adapt and go away from completly doing this and find something else.
This is not a small balance issue. Its really changed doing them with a income factor of 3 to 5.
I dont think someone will fight for them anymore. I am pretty sure lots of people will hate drone region now and better go somewhere else.
There is no instant isk. Loot is heavily reduced and you have the problem to convert drone loot into isk. And its not only the isk income in general, but people are leaving and i feel lonesome. |

Since MY thread was closed (i did NOT make mutliple topics, perhaps you want to adapt your text to properly reflect what you mean) . The reason I didn't post to this thread it is usually filled with either whining or fanboi-ism - I thought I'd make an actual contructive post instead - which gets locked. CCP has a hard time learning things don't they?
* - original message - *
Hello CCP,
I've seen an improvement on the way you deal with things and hope in this thread to make good on a promise of better resposne to feedback.
First off: I think this patch fixed or improved a great many things. A loot all button brilliant; training times indication for a ship you see but cant fly yet, well done. New nebulas look nice too (and persistent 3d positioning of em - impressive). Finally some love for hybrid gun users. all great stuff.
Just to make sure people understand that this is not a whine thread. There are a few misses too however (in my opinion, mind you)
This thread is for listing them and hoping you pick up on t them. If you got any question or want elaboration - contact me and ill add.
Wreck loot window size - The loot button is great, but why does the size of the loot window keep resetting? Please make it so that the game remembers the preferred "wreck cargo windows size" please. Sometime you DO want to choose by hand. it annoying to have to resize the window every time.
Gallente retextures - No accounting for taste obviously but most of the gallente retextures dont really work. why? 1 lore reason: Gallente are supposed to be the artistic heart and soul of the eve universe. They now fly the drabbest colored ships around. Doesnt feel gallente at all. I'm sure its possible to come up with a slightly 'darker' theme without taking it this far.
more important - gameplay reason: It looks ok enough in hangar but out in space i can hardly see my ship anymore. Thats annoying. I'm missing visual clues. Its to dark to make out details. Even in the "sunny side" you can hardly see stuff. The bright new nebulas make this even worse,
both things make me a bit sorry for the obvious work that went into it - but it needs a rethink. I dont mind the actual new looks, but please a little more color saturation and/or reflection would go a long way.
fleet window disppears havent been able to reproduce but my fleet window disappears occasionally.
font I dont mind the new font nearly as much ans many other people, but i wouldn;t call it an improvement. Its too "thin" by lack of a better word. Makes it harder on the eyes to read it. Im sure its possible to come up with something that scales but is easier on the eyes

That's my first bug of the day. My characters have to be staring at the mirror at all times. I got around it by either sitting on the couch, or by standing in a corner. Of course, ship hangar is still an option, but I do enjoy the news feed.
The good part? I just got a BPC for a Talos, and completed construction in just under four hours. Bad part? I have to finish Battlecrusiers 3, AND get up to Large Hybrid Weapons. 5 days away from flying with any kind of fitting. |

Fix the PI tax ( as in reduce it) or face a major problem.
1. we could unsub
2. we could stop making PI :)
3. we can continue to complain till you give up.
4. I heard new MMO are coming out....
5. We complain outside Eve on public forums, pass the bad word around CCP does not care about it players.
6. pass the cost to Eve members, ( this is what you want) all you want to do is sell GTC/Plex, so if you increase tax, you force ppl to buy plex for isk. ( rob from the poor)

The only issue I have is the drastic change of Gallente and Caldari skins (Amarr and Minmatar still look fine) but when I fly my Gallente ship which is darkened now combined with flying in new darker nebulae it makes it more difficult to truly notice and appreciate the ship. Granted the changes look great when docked and there is enough adequate lighting. Other than that I appreciate the changes and found them most useful. Thanks! |

Hello,
first i'd like to say: GJ CPP! Crucible turned out to be one of the best expansions ever. Browsing the patchnotes, i could not believe the number of changes u made. The game looks and feels absolutly awesome now... the new warp effect is my fav, do not EVER change it again! Also the tier3 BCs are one intresting addition and will prolly bring some fresh wind into Eden. Thank you very much for this!
There's just a few things that bother me...
Imho opinion, the Talos is OP. With a balanced fit, it gets up to 1100 dps and 45k ehp. It's also the only tier3 BC with drones, which give it a counter vs frigs. It does have weaknesses, its speed and range, but this does not justify such a dps and tank (and drones). I know that gallente are tradionally droneboats, so it makes kinda sense to give drones to the Talos. But these tier3 BCs are one special concept... capable of dashing out immense dps at the expense of defence. The Talos is not vulnerable enough. It should be made an exception for this ship class and the drones removed. Another acceptable way is to give all the tier3 BCs a dronebay of 25m-¦... Talos can have 50m-¦...
Speaking of the Tornado, it's slightly UP. It does have a great speed and range, but the dps is really too low compared to the other BCs. Talos, 1100 dps, balanced. Oracle, 1000 dps, balanced. Naga, 1000 dps, balanced. Torndado, 780 dps, kinda balanced (not easy to fit 2 gyros in 4 low slots - where u also want DC, TE and nano) Its dps should be uped by 10%, that would be fair i guess.
The Oracle is well balanced imo, and it looks amazing. The Naga is kinda useless compared to others... just give the ship missiles lol...
One last thing... i think the Dramiel's speed/agility was nerfed bit too hard... It dropped from 6k to 5k... so that inties can catch it... Why not buff the inties instead? So they actually become usefull in frig combat. Generally, i would rather buff all frigs slightly (which are not OP), instead of nerfing the 'OP' ones. So that we see some more frigs in 0.0 and low... really too much C and BC size...
I guess thats it... Do you guys agree/disagree/care? I'd like to hear some opinions on the ships.
Balboa, out. |

I'm having several visual issues shown in this
- Mining drone lasers show up once and then do not move with the mining drone
- Targeting asteroids sometimes does not stop the targeting animation after they are targeted
- Clicking on asteroids will show the roid name, but then clicking off leaves them selected and the name stays in space even after I leave the belt.
I'm also having the following other issues:
- Industry tab does not show columns in the Blueprint Screen. BP stats only show up for some bps.
- Unloading a mining crystal from a strip miner II then reloading shows Reload ([item].typeID.name). If I activate the miner without a crystal then stop it, it will show the name of the crystal I want with (used) after it. I'm noticing this with Pyroxeres II crystals
- Orca pilot and I are in same corp and same fleet. I can put ore into the corp hanger and can right click to stack it. However, when I try to drop ore of the same type on ore of the same type in hanger I get this message: Notify You cannot put items into that container because it belongs to (orca pilot) and you are not in their fleet, their corporation or held in the highest personal standing by them.

Thank you CCP for a great expansion. Deployment seemed to go very well at least from my perspective.
Things I really like are
The short online time for POS modules. Maybe their was a reason for this back in the dim and distant past but I am heartily glad those coma inducing waits are over.
The new warp tunnel. The way space bends when warping through a planet is great. Before it just looked rubbish. Now the immersion of bending space time is excellent.
Good to have engine trails back and everyone loves new ships. Thanks for finally working on hybrids as well.
Now I am looking forward to some real content in regards station establishments.

I think it's nice that it is possible to press the 'dock' or 'jump' buttons before being in range, with the result that the ship will warp or approach as appropriate. It would be handy with a small indicator on the button to show whether or not the ship is in range, since this is not indicated in any way now.
I'm not so fond of the similar functionality with the open wreck/container button, since attempting to open a container slightly out of range can result in an undesired course change.
I'd like to suggest that this behaviour can be configured, or that the autopilot only attempts to warp to but not approach an object that is out of range. |

- Some anoms in 0.0 got a little to much love, i wouldnt mind some lower once getting a bit more spawn ballance so i can keep my BS soloing lower once and not just crappy once. Just increasing the spawn isnt gonna make it better, but spreading out a bit more would be better. Its nearly impossible to get the same kinda ratting done pre-patch, and there not buffed enough to team run them.
- Empire PI: Just scratches the whole thing plz, youll never get it working nicely it seems, i allready gave up all my planets cause of the new costum offices. Its cool for low-sec and 0.0, but kinds useless in empire it seems.
For the rest im glad to see manny changes made, and im really hoping CCP is gonna keep this kinda changes comming. Maybe someday we will see the vision of CCP merge with those of the players ;)

Here's my feedback for the features that I've tested so far:
- PI improvements are great. You don't have to enter planet mode to import/export stuff and the import/export functionality has been greatly simplified. Somehow I've managed to miss these changes in the patch notes, so I was pleasantly surprised to see them in the game; - New nebulas are much better than the old ones. - Ship textures are pretty cool. Even Drake looks refreshed with these new textures. - Tier 3 BCs are a great addition to the game. I can already see many uses for them and many counter-tactics against them. Of course, their potential balance issues might come at a later date, but I don't see any major problem now. - Although I didn't care that much about engine trails, I won't turn them off once I saw them. Smoothly curved engine trails that you put in this expansion look very good... like they were a part of the game from the beginning :) - New racial CQs look very good. The performance is OK. (Gallente wins the coolest award :) ) - Slightly lower FPS on my desktop machine while in space. I guess the new nebulas and textures came with a price. Since that old computer have to go anyway (5+ years), it's not that much of a big deal, but I think you might want to consider changing minimum system requirements to play the game. - session change timer is more clear now, which really helps - POS changes are fantastic!
Features that I like but haven't tested yet:
- supercap nerf was long needed. The changes in Crucible are a good start, but you must keep monitoring the actual battlefields and act if something is still wrong. - Dramiel nerf is also good. - haven't seen the gate alignment yet (currently in W-Space), but I like the idea. It's a small thing but it still adds to the variety of landscapes of EVE systems
I can list many more things to the list, but it all comes down to one conclusion:
That this is one of the best expansions in a long time. It definitively needed to be after "Incarna". CCP, you have showed again that you are capable of delivering great stuff when you are lead in a good direction. I don't generally do this kind of thing, but after Crucible, I have started a "viral-marketing campaign" on all forums, facebook, twitter and other social networks that I use to try to drive more people to try and play the game. Even Crucible trailer is made perfectly for that purpose.
Thank you for this great expansion. |

Well, I had to re-set almost all graphics options in Esc menu to high just to see everything. While it all looked great, game was very laggy and almost non playable. After almost losing my ship within the first 1/2 hour after the expansion, I reset graphics in Esc menu back to low.
Thanks for changing the active module icons on the UI back to original. The new Text font is also great. Much more easier to see everything.
New Nebula's are awesome. Very impressive effect of getting larger or smaller while traveling. Like the way the Jump Gates are positioned. The warp bubble effect looks cool but it still needs the blue and red colors fore and aft. It also looks much more realistic while warping through planets. All this is very nice.
The new Autopilot and Jump commands are excellent. Someone else mentioned about the Cargo option in the selected items box for cans and wrecks, it definitely needs something like having it flash when within range. This should probably be the same with the jump and dock options as well.
Ship trails and the various degree of star brightness was nice but since I have an older low end computer that requires Eve graphics options to be set at base minimum, I won't be seeing those. As someone else mentioned, all this has indeed created more strain, lag, etc on the client side. The game is still playable but seems the minimum specs requirement that was listed is now lower than what's actually needed.
The color changes in the system map for scanning is good but the 3D effect creates more work. When rotating the camera from side view to top view, the signature and probes will reduce or enlarge. To keep the same view or size aspect, now have to work the center mouse wheel and re-zoom back to desired viewing aspect. I also noticed that if the signature isn't kept in the center of the screen, the probes become offset from the signature while using the r-click mouse button to place probes and signature in different area of screen. Bookmarks in the system map are very hard to see, those need to remain visible at all times.
Thanks for adding new DED sites to the game, this was needed to be done a long time ago. I haven't noticed any difference to existing anomalies, maybe that change was for low sec and 0.0 sec space only. I can't wait to collect the new Deadspace modules.
Ship skin changes are great, especially on my Sleipnir. Love the idea of a Command ship having a Camouflage paint job. Shouldn't have nerfed the Dramiel. All the other Pirate Frigates should have been buffed instead.
Captains Quarters are excellent, Eve needs more WiS content to become the ultimate Science Fiction Virtual Reality Universe that it was meant to be. Sadly though I also won't be using it due to graphics options being set to bare minimum.
Thanks for fixing the Forum BBC error for links. That was definitely getting very annoying.
Well, that's about it for now. Over all this expansion seems to be mostly win. Props to all the Dev's for all the hard work.
Guess I should really start looking into getting my 10 year old desk top computer upgraded, doubt it'll be able to handle too much more. |

I dont like the super celebrated new feature that makes your ship to aproach a floating can when I order to open it. Sometimes you have cans out or reach in your overview mixed with cans in range. You could click them and open them and go fairily quick. If some can was out of reach it simply didnt open. Do didnt need to look at every one's distance. Now what happens is my ships starts moving away from the main can group if I am not carull enaugh. I know I am ultimatelly responsable of what I do but I simply state this feature does not make my life easyer but oposite I have to be more aware of distances of each 30 or 40 cans around me so I dont mess with the one or two that are 10 km. away. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=41496&find=unread

The new font may seem "amazing" or "great" at times, but in all honesty, whoever designed it hadn't been around in the 80's or 90's when designed fonts need crucial guidelines to adhere to:
A) The "tracking" (the space between fonts) is obviously at "0"... but when you look at the printing/font that we are all reading right now... even the information to the left ... underneath my name, for example, has even "tracking".
What does that mean, some may ask? Well, I see "School of Applied Knowledge" under my name. What I see is an EQUAL amount of spacing to the "right" and to the "left" of each letter, making the "l" next to the "i" next to the "e" next to the "d" in "Applied" seem wonderfully next to each other, wonderfully spaced and even.
What I DO NOT SEE IN THE NEW GAME FONT is the same guidelines and behavior:
The letter "e" in the game is too "left aligned" which leaves more space before the next leter... this causes some words to seem out of space or separated unevenly, and this is causing legebility issues, regardless of what font size you choose or what scalability you use.
MOST noticably is the oppositely "congested" numeral "0" (zero). It is pushed to the maximum edges but then, when a symbol like a "," (comma) or a "." (period) or even a ":" (colon) are immediately after the number zero, it is "wedged" right next to the "right end horizontal line" of the zero character. This makes reading symbology difficult.
An example would be the TIME: 08:04 in the lower lefthand menu column is barely noticable. This is not only because the ":" (colon) is immediately set up to display right after the previous "character/number" but also creates problems in reading AND SPACING.
This is most noticable when seeing the "thin" (unboldened) print o the font (something we users cannot replicate) - yet we see it in the TIME, DATE, TAB TITLES, and MARKET PRICING. The symbols are far more "thin"... and when you use them in an unbolded way, the TIME (for example) loses any sense of visably seeing a ":" (colon). So the time may be 10:42 or 01:16 but when you look at those TWO examples alone, you'll see uneven spacing near the "colon"... and to make things worse, the colon is much thinner, and therefore not visible.
This adds to NON-CONTINUITY amongst all letters and numbers. Anyone who has designed a font professionally knows that there needs to be an exacting amount of space on both "left" and "right" sides of EACH letter, number, and symbol. This creates a universal tracking...
This "new font" is LACKING that continuity.
If you doubt it, take a look at the lowercase "e" in any siutation... especially the market, but even in typing mail. The "e" (lowercase) is "left-side heavy" and therefor places 1 pixel (or so) too much extra space on it's other side before the next letter/symbol/number. This is more visible when you select an item and have it "emboldened"... like the price of something when purchasing/selling an item. Also see in the market listing... espcially when a "zero" is involved... Right now any of us reading this text/forum IN A BROWSER, will see the evenly spaced lettering made by the pre-existing (and functionally made) font. I see it in the predefined typeface we all see "beautifully" under our portraits ( definied in the source code as style=display: inline; float: right; font-weight: bold; text-align: right;) and even the undefined font my browser is using to type this text - which is very different. What they all have in common is even spacing on each side of each letter. Especially the "e" which seems to be one of the few (but several) problematic characters in this "new eve font"...
If I typed "new Eve font" in the game, we'd see a slight bit more spacing to the RIGHT of each instance of the letter "e"... and this breaks up the words formed by the letters.
This has been, as a font designer and editor in my personal RL career in the past 20 years, something that I'm wrestling with as I am "trying to LIKE the new font" but I simply can't. What makes it worse is that we have the only option of seeing the "normal" (slightly boldened) version/thickness of the font in all things... EXCEPT when the UI uses a special THIN (or as some may have come to know as "NARROW" version of the font)... this NARROW verions means almost a 1 pixel line version of the font that us user can NEVER user: "possibly anti-aliased", but nonetheless, a problematically visual situation in: the CLOCK TIME, DATE, MARKET VALUES, LISTINGS of the "very much BROKEN" CORP BLUEPRINTS section of the Science and Industry tabs, as well as labels for all tabs of most windows, including the tabs for chat windows, hangars, etc.)
This is hurting the eyes for several people.
The solution, after reading the Feedback AND the Issues pages seems to be almost 50/50 for all people... "all" at least as in "all people who have chosen to bother voicing their feedback and issues".
This is one of a myriad of problems, but I'm filing this under feedback because it is something we all want boiled down to:
OUR CHOICE.
Half of us love the new font. Great. I'm very happy for you people who love it.
Half of us dislike it, hate it, or "can't put our finger on it, but we don't like the change". Well, there in itself lies a problem:
Just like the CQ (which is a bug report of heell I've been working on filing because I seem to be a walking "head and half torso" defying laws of physics... and even in the Hangar (also with a windows problem that makes the whole thing "float around" instead of just the ship, creates a situation where you have users who WANT A CHOICE.
If anything is supposed to be "great" about any upgrade, it should be to give a choice to its paying users who wish to continue playing the game.
It may be personal for some, it may be visually medical for others. The reason shouldn't be the issue. The issue is in the flaw of the font's CURRENT design.

Build 306979 to 321452 addresses Patch notes for Crucible
Improvements that significantly improve EVE for me:
1) The new font. It's not perfect as the post above me states but it is way better than the old. 2) Jump button being warp to or move to and jump is very nice. Can be confusing if I only want to warp but I'll just have to pay attention. 3) POS fuel blocks. 4) Corporation chat MOTD. 5) Corporation bookmarks.
Most other improvements have a lesser effect on EVE game play for me. I'm glad new things like engine trails can be disabled.
Changes that degrade EVE for me:
1) Nebula and increased sun brightness. The increased brightness of the background makes it even more difficult to see the not so bright pulsing green of active modules, overheat indicators on modules and other important objects in the direction of the sun. I would like to have my background perfectly black with points for stars. 2) Window pin is not working. It would be nice to have pinned windows act as they did before Crucible. In addition not allowing them to fold up when double clicked in the heat of battle would be good. 3) The log loading delay when displaying the Star Map. It's very bad for FCing.
When working on EVE please make improvements to gameplay such as the items listed in the papercuts dev blog http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=3108 and less new content. |

WoW. Just an amazing expansion and I've only just started to explore all the new features.
In no certain order, New nebula's are not only beautiful but much easier on the eyes. Black on white scanning screen is soo nice and easy to use. New Tier 3 BC's are just gorgeous. OMG the Firetail's new paint is just amaziing. Hookbill and Navy Caracal are very nice to. ( Navy Osprey is still ugly enough to be Gallente )
Need to refit almost all my hybrid ships but that will be fun. So far buffed blaster Thorax is very nice, just not vs a Talos. That hurt, alot.
Peeked in the new Gal CQ. It's nice but until I can install a gun rack and Quafe machine it'll stay off.
Two corp mates have re-subbed after a break and they're also very impressed so please keep it up. |

FEEDBACK FOR CRUCIBILE 1.0.0 Patch #3:
ESTIMATIONS versus ACTUAL NUMBERS:
I'm confused by the choices made in this new update to "estimate" what "1 MONTH" is... (yet when it comes to billing, CCP definitely knows to say "30 day period"). So when looking at the Skill Training Queue window, because of the nature of CCP and EVE, I want actual numbers in days, not estimations of "months" since not all months are the same. It also adds to "blockage" of the skill name itself with this new wider font.
IRONICLY, just the opposite has occured elsewhere in the game:
IN THE FITTING WINDOW: Somehow the "Targeting" range has been "un-estimated".
Example:
In the ship I'm currently in, the fitting windows says I have "Targeting" of "72.12431106328 km".
Seriously, I think 72.12 km is enough for me. And with the new font, because it's the thinner version of the font, it's so small that the symbol of a "." in that huge number is lost.
I also agree with the suggestion earlier to allow us to choose between which font we want to see in the game. The "new" font, or the old one. The new font is difficult in its non-conformity of spacing ("tracking" between characters) to read. Try buying or selling something in 11-digits or more range, and even though it's big, when it's in red and spaced out, it's oddly hard to quickly interpret.

The best thing about this release has to be the graphics.
That said, all functionality improvements and/or fixes have been majorly overshadowed by new bugs caused by a rush to implementation.
Like someone said before, I'd rather have 1 or 2 new things work great than 50 new things that work like crap. |
