I don't think you will be the only one. I guess the ratio of 170k subscribers to 1mill accounts is gonna change some what.

No, because I'm not going to pay 50 bucks a month to train accounts I don't use. My main is fairly diverse and can do most things my alts can do anyway. I have no reason to pay 15 bucks to train cruiser/battleship 5 on an alt when I already have it on the main.

Haha! I would actually be happy if we got this in place unsubscribed training.

It's not exactly a matter of being fair or not, it was a feature in the account pages until just a few days ago.

Lots of good stuff, some not so good and some mandatory crap.
Few comments on skills:
Repair system is no longer required for the remote armor repair systems nor will it give a bonus to these systems. Logistics really needed a nerf.
Electronic warfare is no longer a requirement for ECM drones. Why the hell not? Sharpshooter's still required for sentries is it not?
Ore Processing skills no longer require metallurgy and refinery efficiency but refinery and science. I'm sure miners will buy you a beer at next FF. Will they get to relocate those now useless 500k SP?

Every action has consequences. Stop whining when your "clever" plan turns out to hurt you in the end. And keep that guilt-inducing "fairness" nonsense for yourself.

No. They can no longer abuse the goodness of him paying them.

If we can't eject while docking, it'd be nice to be able to undock in a pod. Would cut down on noob ship and shuttle clutter in front of stations where people podjump.

Is this wise? How can people training harm CCP? The last thing everyone says to friends who "quit" is "set a long skill training!" and them getting BS5 or whatever is an incentive for them to return, removing the incentive is a reason to not come back.

Yeah, getting rid of pod-docking is LAAAAAAME. Now there will be way more shuttles and noob ships floating outside of stations and we get to look forward to playing way more 'the wolf, the sheep, and the cabbage'-riddle if we just want to move ships around in one system.

Well I pretty much loved everything about the patch notes. I'm not liking that I won't be able to train skills while my account is inactive. It was nice when I moved to come back to Drone Interfacing V, or when I started at a new school and canceled my account to come back to Battleship V... It was always a nice incentive to know your still somewhat progressing.

this is seriously the worst move you could make, i realize that the thinking behind is that you can earn more if ppl keep paying even if there are times where they dont want to play.
But being able to train while account was deactivated was one of those things that really binds players to eve and keeps them coming back.
\ yup the first time i have to miss training because of rl job and they stop my skill and i dont get back in country for a few days from working, ill sell my account , its not worth it to me if a company that wants me to continually invest in them isnt willing to invest a little in me as the player, not just in thier creation. and it was one of the features that kept me coming back. now i want you to think about that oveur, and all of you. some of us only came back, because you gave a little back it was the difference between some cold uncaring sob company, and the one that won my loyalty for what , almost 4 years now since beta ended. and im not the only one. having incentive ( like cruiser 5) was one of the reasons i reactivated my account. tell us. please. as a leasee of this intellectual property. other than adding content to try to make yourself more profit. what have you done for us as a Customer. and is this the right move.

Edited by: Paladineguru on 25/11/2006 03:51:43 im sorry for continuing again , but the more i see this the more incensed as a customer i become. but i find it hard to believe that if it was that big of an issue , they couldnt have gotten it right the first time. not to mention it was a "FEATURE" oh and its nice to see that gtc and the macroer friendly enviroment that it supports is being given precedence over customers whove payed with credit cards or cash. guess they dont want the game free of the parasite that isk farming is.

Edited by: Daelin Blackleaf on 25/11/2006 04:39:33 Can someone explain to me what benefit was served by shuffling around the refining skills other than, as far as I can see, making Refinery Efficiency 5 useless?
Happy to hear of the change to the learning skills though. Working through them is one of the most off-putting aspects to newer players.
All in all.... can't wait, so many goodies, so many needed tweaks and fixes implemented.
[EDIT: Dropped a word there
