Originally by: Mack Dorgeans I find it odd the Hawk gets a cargo boost but the new missile boat BC, the Drake, still has only 345 m3 cargo on Singularity as of today. Shouldn't that ship get more cargo than the amount apparently held over from the Ferox when it was created?
Also, why is ammo getting lower volume AND the clip size for weapons being lowered? With more HP on ships, shouldn't weapons be able to hold more rounds so additional reloading doesn't nerf DPS?
Flawed logic for the win How would 'additional loading' Nerf DPS? DPS is determined as "Damage per second" If the clip size and the ammo size are reduced by the same ammount then there will not be any change in the current RATE of reloads... which means no change in DPS. What you are proposing would result in a huge INCREASE in DPS because of FEWER Reloads over the same time period. Thus negating the entire purpose of the increased hp on ships in the first place... which would be counter-productive.

It is highly recommended for players to delete their instajump bookmarks before the Revelations deployment. This action will improve client performance and decrease log-in times. Note: Normal bookmarks will not be affected by this change.ö I am a little confused by this. How do you tell the difference between Instajump bookmarks and normal bookmarks? I thought both bookmarks are made in the same way and are treated the same by the game. Surely my normal bookmarks will get deleted as well? If not how do you tell which to delete and which to leave?
It's posted somewhere but I can't find it at the moment. Last statement was that all BM's within 40km of a celestial (warpable target) will be automatically deleted by the system.

I've read, I've absorbed, I've screamed, I've cried....
Overall **** nice, in fact very bloody nice.. hold one 1 sec whats this....
Predetermined setups for new char's, 810k sp, possible to have 2 lvl 5 skills from day1, what the f**k is going on here, talk about giving new char's a jump start, what about the god **** rest of us who had to do it the hard way. Or players only a few months old who are doing it the hard way, this is an outrage, whats wrong with them doing it the way everyone has had to do it, miner/pvp/industrial..... OH no now we have to give them a "jump Start" this in my mind is an insult to everyone before them.
Make them train the **** skills the same as all the rest of us have to, **** it

There is a dev blog. You should read it. Might make things easier on your heart rather than throwing a total hissy fit.

I have to ask, why can't we undock in a pod? Why was this option even taken out in the first place?
I see other people have asked about this, as well as asking why with Revelations you can no longer eject and let your ship dock.
There are so many shuttles and noob ships floating around space because of this and that can't be doing any good.
I dont mind the nerf coming with Rev, but let us undock in are pods.

Question about this:
- It is no longer possible to log into a trial account if there is already an active client running on the same computer (subscription or other trial).
So this only affects trial accounts and not two full acounts right?
we can still run 2 accounts at once as long as they are both paid for?
Thanks ;)

Will the fix be in this patch for the mobile lab loophole that allows them to be used even while offline?
I can't see it in the patch notes, but it's been said before that this, err.. 'feature' would be removed soon.

Yes it's still fine for running two paid accounts at the same time. This just stops you logging onto a trial account if you have one or more paid accounts active. ----------------------------------- HaHaHa! This sig is edit proof! Sadly, it appears so. -Capsicum \o/ I Am Invincible \o/ |

Dunno if anyone noticed or has said so far, i have only really skimmed through this thread, but the description of the new regions sounds somewhat...short. This is the quote:
Originally by: Revelations Features Section 23 years ago, the Gallente/Amarr scientist team of Oisin Lexmoreau and Radagast Bohat were doing research into autonomous drone tech and ended up creating Orphyx, the first self-aware drone, who of course promptly went bat****, flipped out and killed some people. The hapless duo's research was then appropriated by the Federation and used, three years later, to assist with the building of stargates into regions of unexplored space, a project known as Operation Spectrum Breach.
The scientists in charge of the project believed they'd found a way to keep the machines' rebellious instincts under control, but they were proven disastrously wrong when a whole generation of construction worker drones simultaneously went rogue, attacking its caretakers and destroying their outpost. Not knowing what to do, and fearing the chaos that would ensue should the berserk machines venture back through the gate leading into Empire, the project's leaders shut down all gates leading into the new regions.
Shouldn't the story then follow that the gates have been rebuilt, etc?
Ps. Sry if Ive missed the added story somewhere in this thread on in a new Eve Chronicle.

Originally by: Kaaii Im really interested in what you all plan to do with large ship asm arrays that are already anchored in 05+ systems. Can you give any details?
According to Oveur, existing LSAA's already anchored will stay there. The restriction is on the anchoring of new LSAA's.
I apologize for the lack of final determination on the status of bookmarks, the Database Admins are still determining what direction is best needed to take.
Patch notes have been updated with some clarifications, specifically regarding the ore processing skills and jump clones. The updates are in green.

Is it possible to get an answer regarding hi-sec capital production in those LSAA's? Will it still be allowed? Will GMs still help us move out the Capital ships produced or will we end up with them just sitting there never coming out?

Since bookmarks are stored on the server side why can't they just be deleted during the downtime through a straight DB query rather than wait for us to log in and flood the servers with deletes while we're live? Just an idea. -- Lil Miner Newbie Skills Roadmap | CCG Card Lookup |

will there be an option for it to be still saved in PNG???
Yeah, what's the reasoning behind this? Just when PNG is finally establishing itself, with full support in IE7, CCP switches to JPG? IMHO, PNG > JPG > BMP. AFAIK, there's no rights issue with PNG as it's open-source, and surely in this day and age we don't worry too much about larger files anymore?? (Okay, not as large as BMP, thank you )
hmm still looks like no answer and also no option to save screenshots in PNG ahh well ill ahve to do it all in fraps

Its a nerf because you GAIN 12.5% to your tankling ability but LOSE 25% making a net LOSS of -12.5% to your tanking ability through passive recharge etc ----------------------------------------------- Great minds think alike but fools seldom differ
