I got an email from the publisher on 04/18 saying shipping would be delayed a few weeks while Seren mapped the "new" content. My CC was charged however upon order confirmation.
Any update on this, SS?

Happily last night I finished all the Empyrean age content updates to the EVE Strategic Map Book and it's off to the print press - I expect shipping to start around 16th May. The guys at EON will be emailing everyone to keep them up to date.
Thanks for everyone's patience on the delay - having the new content will definitely be worth the wait!

can i make a small suggestion *hides from lynch mob*
if u do a new updated one in a few moths might be worth adding like acetate (sp?) over each map so in effect you can scribble notes over the maps that are wipe clean for like tactical ideas and so on
please dont kill me in game *hides*
but still welldone on the project :)

Yes, I check the price for "Rest of the World" shipping (I'm at South America) and shipping price is really big, around U$ 11 for a book map around U$20 (price of maps if fine, btw).
wow, some people usually get it good, in Australia typically shipping is at least $10 even if coming from within the country, for stuff from Europe / USA it can get up to $50 USD of shipping, even for books. Mind you it's not usually that bad if you can bundle things together, though most shipping is based on weight. The book could just as easily be $30 USD with 'free' shipping ;) Less complaints, same outcome :o
But yeah, $10 shipping from Europe is pretty good I would have thought, for places like South America and Australia especially.

They are currently only available through the EVE Store. An alternative would be to use a friend/family members credit card and pay them the cash.

Mine arrived this morning. Hurrah.
Initial thoughts.
Pick a page (e.g. 17) - look at Fovilhi and Zaid in C7. Since it's printed on glossy black it's very difficult to spot that Fovihi has a station whereas Zaid doesn't.
Now look at Dysa in G9 - it's got 2 station services but the little dots are so small and are dark red against a dark red on black that I have to pick the map up and hold it close. Same with the dark green ones - the only ones that are really clear are outposts where the dots are black and the circle bright yellow.
I guess I'm saying that the colour red and green are too dark. As is the grey as well for 0.0 - it would probably have been better being brighter.
What would also be really useful would be an alphabetical list of each system and what page and grid reference. That way when you are lost you can quickly look up the system you're in and jump to the page and grid to find where you really are.
Overall, not unhappy with it.

How do the new regions connect to current ones?
How many new regions? Systems? Will small alliances be able to carve out a niche, or will it favor the large alliances?
So many questions and no book to look at.

If you could please email them to support (at) eve-maps (dot) com, that would be great. There are a number of changes in the Empyrean Age data that are different to the current server, so I can check.

Hi Zakgram, at your request I've put an alphabetical and alphabetical/page listing onto the website for download in Excel and CSV format (CSV is for website developers).

debated a while on the book, then heard all the good reviews about it, and i decided to get it... i started my order... then i got to another screen... $11.60 for shipping? brining the total cost to $31.55.. 
oh well... thats a bit much for me. guess i'll stick to the free ones.

Considering I haven't been able to type for 3 days since boxing up hundreds of those damn maps, I think $11.60 is far too cheap

I got a notice that mine shipped quite some time ago but it has not arrived yet. Do I need to pod the mail person? I saw the blurb about next day air or whatever and now I'm worried.
Any way to check status of shipment?

I would hope that US & Canadian buyers will start getting them from Friday, mainland Europe starting around now-ish (Ms. Steele got hers today). Of course all territories and states are different and you should expect to give a few days of leeway. People should certainly get them before the release of the expansion :)

the only disappointment is that it is out of our budget... too bad i can't pay for this using isk...
