Thanks to each of you for your feedback.
Based on all the comments, I've refreshed the preview download and legend to the current prototype version;
- Sec Status is now rotated to vertical orientation
- Complexes are shown more simply
Also there is a segment on EvE TV which has some video of the prototype.
Some more improvements are due before launch with the goal being to release around FanFest.

I'd buy it just for the nastalga of it, how much?
I know you would need to charge a good amount of shiping, like 5$ or something, i would pay abought 20$ I would think.
ad maybe another fee for updates and extra single pages.
but I do not have any debt so I'm lucky and might want to pay less if I had like allot of debt on credit cards or something.

Hello!
I like this Map and will buy a printed version. Maybe download-able to print it by my own.
DonŠt know if U allready talked about this point. I was to lazy to read the whole topic.
In the lower left corner of the map, there is a symbol which shows the Corp of the rats.
It would be nice if near the symbol, the dealt dmg and the dmg i should deal were marked.

You don't pay for the ammount of ink used, when printing professionally. You pay per plate. As the strategic maps have so many colours, it probably won't be printed in PANTONE colors, but in CMYK color, which is four plates (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black)

Yes, this is the reason for using a professional printing press: To keep the EvE look and feel, and keep the cost down. Once using a printing press, the main thing that reduces cost is the volume of the print run.

I dont think its a good idea to try to jam any more info into these maps. I, for one, dont find them confusing... yet. But were close to the boiling point.

It's been ready to go to print for 12 months, all the delay is waiting on CCP | White wolf. You know how it goes .. CCP merged white wolf, then the guy assigned to do sign-off moved to the states, then white wolf moved offices, then they wrote the pretty coffee-table book, then .. *sigh*
That said, it will be released within the next 45 days regardless of glacial movements in Iceland.

My family owns a DTP Printing facility here in australia, i used to help manage it back before i ventured off into my own thing...anyways.. Binding is where they sting ya price wise...pending the binding method u choose ( i assume ring, as you state it will lie flat).
Printing itself is rather cheap provding they dont have to stuff around with your artwork (bleeds, colours (ie convert to cymk) ect)...

I've been testing a digital print facility in the USA that also enables doing single A3 maps as well as the book, and the quality is excellent, so will probably stick with that. If you know of one in Australia, it'd be beaut if you could EvEmail me the URL :)

I believe that a boost is needed to get CCP, white wolf, and however else you need confirmation from to move this priority up. *cough cough* goon style *cough cough* Sorry, something in my throat there. 
But seriously, CCP and the other I don't think realize the importance of this, and need a fire lit under their rear to get it signed.
Granted, it could be that they are just overly busy with rev3, but I don't see the issue with why White Wolf hasn't gotten back to you yet, nor do I see what will delay CCP anymore after FanFest. I hope they get back to you shortly Serenity Steele.
