In that circumstance, you won't know all these specific details about the battlefield. Because of the server-client desync issue right now, everyone is throwing the term "desync" around and it sounds like only 10% or so know what it means. It isnt mere lag. In fact, it isnt indicative of lag at all (serverside computation lag that cripples fleet battles, network latency lag, or video lag - people don't even use the term lag specifically), people desync by themselves in space and have no lag of any kind yet remain desync'd. You won't get your ship back just like no one else killed while in a desync'd state has or will, but the game is screwed right now. There isn't even good reason to undock. CCP needs to get on this or there is no reason to keep playing. Goon post that makes 100% without any bull. No smack or nothing at all in this post. I am amazed to the point I have to reply. BTW we lost a small gang earlier to desync in 12 to 20ish fight (we were 12). They jumped on us and we all appeared to be serving them and than the real event appeared, half in pods, half attempting to run. Out of five less than twenty engagements i've been a part of in the last four days, four of them have desynched. I've had reports of my megathron being in three different places and doing three different things on my corpm8s screens. I've had numerous corpm8s loose ships because they are told they are 50% armor and they suddenly loose control of their ships. Its honestly a major problem.
