Having so many BOS members on my friends list was quiet amusing. They where logging on and off so quick that I couldn't really see which of them where coming and going.
As for the system count, it spiked 170 according to my screen, not that it did any good. We attempted to engage 4 separate times and where unable to do so 3 times. The 4th we managed to get a mega and forced a bunch of others to warp off until they brought their carriers back in which caused us to once again desync, so we left the field of battle frustrated at not being able to fight because of CCP. Honestly, if the servers where up to snuff, things probably would of happened a lot different. Not saying that the mom would of not died, but atleast you guys would of had a fight. Instead yall got to engage a lone mothership that was fairly unable to fight back, and a support fleet that was unable to do anything to you.
It wasn't a good kill, but take the ego petting as you will. But every one can agree that dieing like that is probably the worst way possible, if you're happy with killing like that. Then Congrats, good kill. Otherwise....ccp, fix the game. my sig is too big |

I certainly wont take credit away from your guy's efforts. But, if I ever get a kill on a MS or a Titan I certainly hope they have the ability to at least defend themselves.
Its not like we planned the server taking a crap. I couldn't even get on the kill mail with myself or alts because it was so bad. We had this planned for about a week as well. And it sounds like you guys had a sizable fleet ready to come try and save it. It is a shame he lost it this way, but tbh I am 100% positive he would have died despite the de-sync. He went down in less than 5mins and most of our capitals could not even lock him. And I do hope he gets his ship back along with every cap pilot that lost one this way, because these server issues are fing BS, but part of me hopes he doesn't

I somewhat remember similiar thread aages back with a killed titan and alliances we shall not mention.. And in such thread, people just like you boasted about the kill..
Kill is a kill is a kill, there's allways whiners on the side that lost it and bragging on the side that killed it.. Logged off, Logged On, desynched, fighting with grim teeths back.. Foo cares.. It allways comes down to other side whining to whatever and how game mechanics or anything else discriminated 'em in the fight..
On the final note, grats for PL/Razor for the kill.
the desyncs made the experience total crap... i would have at least liked to have seen him be able to fight back. but i honestly do not think he would have survived with the fleet we had. it doesnt matter that his suport couldnt/wouldnt come in. there were not nearly enough of them to dent what we had.
if the suport had decided to come in, we woulda gotten more kills, and maybe lost a couple dictors.
when he made the decision to warp to the bkg gate, he was going to lose that mothership regardess.

Congratulations to the shipkill and comforts to STK.
I wonder when the supercapital pilots in 0.0 finally learn that flying around with their ship alone and without a decent support fleet will mean certain death. Because nothing else it is.
The desync matter is laughable, yes, blame all the desync for the shiploss - but I wonder...maybe it was not the desync which made the shipkill possible but the complete lack of support on the one side and the many dictor pilots and capitals on the other side? Honestly, how would have a perfectly working environment would have saved the mom? I don't think that sending the drones and fighters after the dictors would have been goon enough. No, the mistake was to go out without support gang.
It seems the only save place for the supercapitals as solo pwnmobiles is now low sec empire space.

if you knew how to play eve, you'd probably realize it only takes about 3 dictors to hold a ms indefinately until help arrives.

Motherships were quite killable in 0.0 space even pre Rev2.0. I have a big doubt CCP will reimburse this MS for M.Pire, but if the pilot really got desynched from the very begin (which is quite possible since the Rev 2.0 as we know) and therefor didn't have even a little chance to survive... then it'd be fair to get it reimbursed.

The MS pilot was dumb enough to engage a Domi without intel trying to be "cool" and you're saying the people who set the trap and pulled it off don't know how to play?
Typical BoB. How's Molle btw?

You said it yourself, 3 t2 destroyers can't beat the MS, but they can hold it in place to give support time to arrive - that's their role. The MS is also supposed to have support as well, it's role isn't solo ship of ultimate doom
But props to your attitude and way of looking at things, sure you'll go far in your alliance as you have just the kind of outlook and attitude they thrive on.
Gratz to PL and Razor for pulling this off

Local never get higher than 90 on my screen. Never saw any of you guys in the fight. Ernest got popped tho by the MS with fighters and some BS and support...
Relogfest...
Like said, all the dictors kept desyncing and relogging, probably the relogging saves alot of them from being popped...
All within game mechanics...only had to log three times..

Personaly im sick of seeing super capitals getting popped because of the arrogance or stupidity of the pilots.
Congratulations on the kill no matter how you got it as far as im concerned both partys in the fight got exactly what they deserved.
The mom pilot got popped for using it in a stupid way and razor and buddys proly got the kill because he proly did it a lot and was predictable.
desink/lag/dictors/support fleets/hostile fleets.
ALL B******S
A MS with no support or other capitals and not being used for full fleet ops but as a solo gank ship against a domi deserves to be killed.
