For my self I say this is the best form of Scam Eve as to offer. This is no simple griefing of small players at gate camps. which no one here will say is bad.

As anything else Evolution should have used a scout alt or at least manage their asset a bit better. Communism is not an excuse for laziness and carelessness. It is actually one of the society form that as to be the most monitored because it bases it self on humans which are flawed.

Was it a special performance of this guy having robbed so much ? Did he have a special expertise ? No !
He simply had the luck to be in a big rich corp.

Finally it could have been everybody in this corp who would have had such a rank there.

So I do not understand in any way, why people make such a hype about this unpleasent person.

But even this is topped by those, who extended this evident, by pasting corp internal information to the outside world using CCP forum.

This is most disgusting and beyond every game mechanic. Corp internal discussion, be it from internal corp forums or from IRC should not made public. And CCP shouldn't simply ignore it.

This I find very condemnable.

I'm the opineon CCP makes a mistake, letting all this happen without any counter measure.

This all opens the door for letting people think, that really all is allowed in this game and on this forum no matter how bad something really is.

If CCP doesn't stop this up to a certain level, I think on the long run they make themself guilty of a certain complicity in these matters.

I feel ashamed, if I see, that all this here becomes ºheroically worshiped" and CCP simply o.k.'s this by doing nothing. They only confirm that it was a robbery and not hacking of their systems. Excuse me, what a **** !

O.K. this place (eve) surely doesn't need to be a pleasent place, its a PvP platform.

But at least I would demand from CCP, that they do not allow, that corp internal stuff will be published over their forums, even if this information surely is amusing.

But come on its beyond the limits folks !

And CCP ... don't be so disgusting "lazy" in this matter !

That BoB's recent weakening is really only a symptom of their moulting into a new collective, free from the stigma that surrounded the old? A corp theft (especially with attached questionnable bannage scandal incited by a petition) of this size would be the ideal way to do that.

*snicker snicker* seriously... I've seen us lose more then this in a single fleet battle, in which I died of 'course dictors being primary :(. I have also seen enemies (specifically the northern allied fleet in F-T *cough*). The BPO set (inless researched) is nothing more then a small annoyance, and I'm assuming its a T1 bpo set.
AND last but not least to say... Someone commented on EVOL being a communist corporation, which it is. I would like to point out the following facts. EVOL has 449 members (as of post). Say half are alts, thats still around 224 members. Market cost of what was stolen as per that list 100b (and I'm being generous). Someone tell me about how much ISK then each person needs to make to recoup that loss?

Yea, thats right, they would make nearly double that if they sent half their members to the belts to kill 1 battleship spawn...

Mmm math, gotta love it.

P.S. I think corp thievery is underhanded, peroid. Use of spy's is fine (off-lining POSs, aggro'ing titans, ect) but straight out stealing is bad!

Ok, some things need to be clarified.

If you petition an account you suspect was hacked you won't actually get the account banned. There has to be other indications that the account was hacked for that to happen. If the account is banned for an investigation, you will get the time you lost reimbursed. And if you do petition an account for getting hacked just to get it banned you will be banned yourself instead. Just so we're clear on those issues.

Flatliner did indeed clean out several of our hangars. It was him, he was not hacked, and Evolution is not contesting this, crying h4x, or sploit. It was a legit theft.

Flatliner has been a good friend of ours, and mine, for years. He used this friendship in an attempt to destroy us, for his own reasons. I know not the real reason behind this, and in truth, I don't care. What is done is done.

Evolution has ample reserves and while noone would be stupid enough to sit here and claim a blow like this doesn't hurt ingame, the reality is that much of the assets lost have already been replaced, and this in no way affects the strength of Evolution, or BoB. I know the muppet brigade is salivating... and to you I say what Evolution always says. Bring it.

This is a testament to the strength and attitude of those of us who are on this ride we call Evolution.

Events like this destroy weak corps.

As you probably can guess, this theft did make me smile a little, but tbh, I still hate this sort of thing. It requires very little skill, anyone can "click select" all and drag contents.

The Tigerante event, equally nasty, required far more skill in planning.
