CCP allows it to occur under the guise of the whole sandbox nature of the game, the trouble is, is that there are no real world consequences of your actions as there would be in real life. It's not a sign of an intelligent scammer when a corp theft this size occurs, but rather a snap decision by the said scammer (Director/CEO) that he wants to take all of the corp assets for the hell of it, maybe because he's burnt out from polotics, or he's just bored, or someone in the corp jacked him off in some way, or what ever. Where as in real life, when Directors scam companies, they are usually prosecuted by law and government and an attempt is made to recover said assets, in Eve Online, CCP just says "no rules or game mechanics were broken so it's a fair theft". The guy behind the keyboard can just transfer the ISK to his Alternative accounts, and in that way he even removes the stain to his reputation and is "re born" as another player - but with loads of Assets. This false-loyalty has always been a problem for Corporations and Alliances. In real life bonds and trust is made and grown over time, but in Eve Online, it will never be that way. Not just for corp theft either - but member retention and loyalty in combat also. So no Kudos from me. Just another corp theft, just another day in Eve Online. No big deal really.
