Not yet, and no real comment or attention seems to be paid towards it being an issue or having a planned resolution.
The least they can do is establish a reimbursement plan for these "White Elephants" until they can schedule the fix. Actually I'm incorrect above the least they can do is ignore the situation totally.

Has anyone else petitioned for reimbursement? The Response to mine was interesting, although it didn't contain the standard "our logs show nothing".

i did petition, asking for reimbursement, and was told that it's not being offered at this time.
maybe ccp is ready to change their tune?
i hate to keep bumping this thread, but keeping a 7-page complaint thread at the top of the list seems our only recourse at this point. perhaps it's shame alone at having left inventors so long in the lurch that will set the gears turning.
to that end: more bumpage!
Chronotis, what gives?!?!

ccp any news on this issue?
a policy for us to get reimbursed or a time line for the fix to these, or even some acknowledgment you really are doing something?

You seriously want them to aknowledge that you exsist? Are you joking?
CCP takes your money then leaves you in the dust as they laugh at you for buying their shoddy goods. At least scammers smile when they take your money.
You might take comfort in knowing that they really don't give 2 shits about "any" complaints or they would have had something in place to take care of this a long time ago.
Just taking 2 minutes of their time to update the players on the situation would be nice, but even that is too much to ask in any petition not just this one.
Some people may say "well they do have lots of other complaints to deal with", if thats true then there is something seriously wrong somewhere. If this ship was being properly run there wouldn't be so many complaints. If, on the other hand, there aren't that many complaints why are the players being put on the back burner all the time??
CCP PR managment needs a swift kick in the ass if you ask me.

This is ridiculous really, they need to just give the LP + isk value of it back (even though most of us paid alot more than they are now worth). If they'd done that in the first place instead of waiting well over a year to do nothing, it would be a non issue! We've deployed how many new features while this bug has gone untouched ?

Are you kidding me? correct me if im wrong, we are going on what almost 18 months here? like a year and a half? again correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that somthing like 360 working days? or 2,880 working hours? give me a break either fix it or refund the players! At the verry least let them remove this usless piece of jumk with out destroying it so the slot can be put to use and when you finaly decide it can't be fixed and will be refunded they can get a refund. ______________________________________________

As I understand it the petitions to have the implants removed have been successful, the implants to get them reimbursed have not been.
The "fix" for these implants may or may not make them worth using but it is hard to tell since the feedback and information on this issues is/has been severely lacking.
I have had one petition closed stating they were to be fixed several patches ago and to watch the patch notes. Mayhaps when we are walking in stations we can get an update on the situation or they will have a developer free to address this issue.

sooo. 10 months ago there was an apology for having to wait the first 8 months ?
Can we seriously just get these changed for LP + isk. I mean, LP were worth so much more when we got these, even that seems ridiculous by now. This is something that should have happened day 1. Whoops, didn't mean to release those, reimburse and at least people wouldn't have too much to complain about an honest mistake. But this is just really poor community management.

So when will CCP provide satisfaction for people? I obtained one of those standing implants that was disabled as well. When will we get compensated or when will this be fixed?

In Quantum Rise, the clones with the implant plugged in will have it unplugged and returned to their home station so you can at least plug something else in in the interim.
A fix for the implants is still scheduled however we will look into the possibility of reimbursement for those who do not want to wait any longer for a fix.
Sorry for the extremely long wait on this

No offense, but you do realize Chronotis that "we'll look into it" is a time-honored dust-off, right? Various reimbursement logics have already been proposed here, and I really don't think we're to be convinced that establishing a flat, fair price for these gimcracks and putting up npc buy orders is a delicate, world-changing tweak.
I think it particularly fitting too that this latest attempt at appeasing us comes from someone whose name suggests an inflammation of time. As if the player base's irritation over the irrational amount of time it takes you all to "look into things" isn't enough, we're supposed to feel sorry for your grossly swollen temporal lobe... Sheez.

sorry for straight-up bumpage, but imho this really needs to stay on the first several pages on this forum until we get some meaningful response from CCP.
Giving us 6 months to request that the implant be removed, then enforcing that all remaining draftsmen are removed to hangars is just going in circles.
CCP knew that their ideas for these plants weren't viable when they released them, only how long did it take to actually admit that they were released as non-working items?
Deliberate deception to cover over a design flaw they couldn't think themselves out of in time? Crappy, non-transparent stick-it-to-the-playerbase QA there, if you ask me.
I've said it multiple times already: set up some NPC buy orders at a decent price, acknowledging how hot and hard-to-get these were before the playerbase was actually informed that they don't work, and be done with it.
If you decide in the future, CCP, that there's some merit in invention plants, then great: rerelease them. For now, though, cash us out, and end this silly thread documenting more than 18 months of ineptitude and dismissal.
