And I have one in my hangar. Not the point. The implant have effectively been removed, just like numerous skills and items haven been over the years. Deal with it and stop the whining.
I don't think that's the point. If Chronotis jumps in the thread and says 'yeah we gave up on these' then that's what happened. At this point fixes for it are coming *soon* every few months, only to not eventuate. I'm not aware of any other item that was LP store sold that has been completely removed, all the others have been at least converted into another item instead.

How is this a "scam"? If you were observant before your purchase you'd have known the implants weren't working correctly and you could have avoided the purchase. My guess though is that you bought them early while they were broken to save yourself some money.. as they will likely jump in price as soon as they are fixed.
Other similar issues have taken a while but they eventually got fixed.. this is why I figure if it's broken I'll wait.

When most people in this thread bought them, no one knew they didn't work, it took petitioning a GM and waiting quite some time, and eventually the start of this thread, to get the response that 'no they didn't work',
Buying them early cost a HUGE amount of money, they were bought the day the LP store was released. On this day, LP points were worth many many many times what they are (the GI-2's sold for almost 300 million isk). Should these actually be made to work, and be reseeded in the LP store, they will be significantly cheaper than they were on release almost 2 years ago.
It was many many months after that they removed them from the market, and then over a year before they removed them from our heads where they were taking up a valuable implant slot, always a podding away from potentially being lost while never having been useful.
In short, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about; every single thing you said in that post was wrong, terribly.

"Poteque Pharmaceuticals has issued a recall on their Draftsman range of hardwiring implants which were released with severe faults in the neural processors. Players can now sell their Draftsman implants back to NPCs at various stations. The GI-1 can be sold for 25 million ISK and the GI-2 can be sold back for 200 million ISK."

I believe those implants were previously unplugged in the last expansion, weren't they? I'd be surprised if anyone plugged them in again but if they did ... then they should definately create a petition to try and have them unplugged.

Well if they'd done this what 18 months ago, I would have only lost 175m isk....
GI-2's were selling for 250m isk and GI-1's for 150m isk... Would have been nice to have been at least not worse off after almost two years of patience.
