Edited by: Dictum Factum on 01/05/2008 21:24:45 Edited by: Dictum Factum on 01/05/2008 21:04:10 I am just checking to see if others have developed this problem.
The efficiency claculator is no longer showing any value for material waste for me (either quantity or ISK value). I can enter any value for the start and end material levels for a given blueprint and there are no changes.
*EDIT* This would seem to be when using the BPOs that I ownas well as the base inventory of BPOs, though not always. |

I just now downloaded and installed version 2.4.1.3 for the first time, I have never used EVE MEEP before now.
However, after loading the proper characters and everything, I am looking through my assets and notice that Veldspar is listed at a price of $2,200 isk per unit. I might be crazy, but I think something is a bit off there.
Any thoughts on what might be causing this? I have imported the mineral prices from Phoenix Industries through the program, but obviously Veld is not trit... so.
Thanks for any help on this matter :) |

Dictum Factum: Is this with all BPOs, and what version of the plugin?
Rawblin: Prices for items are gathered from a varying list of things, starting with base price from the DB, then market orders, transaction/journal prices, and eve-central. Phoenix Industries imports only the mineral prices. Documentation on the price features can be found Here. Next version will be easier to get eve-central prices right from the assets page, and there will hopefully be a more permanent solution soonish. |

Salvis, it does not seem to be with all the prints. I do not have the time to look into it more right now, but will try to get you some more information in the next day or two. |

Great program with ton of features! Big thanks to author. I'd wanna ask for one more feature though, if it's possible - possibility to check (and alarm) when POS runs out of fuel (I don't know it Full API Key provides such info or is there any other way to archieve it).

Originally by: Salvis Tallan It is just about the same as version 2.2.1, but now uses CCPs Actual Invention Formula. Yes you read that right, so enjoy.
What formula would that be, and how did you acquire it? Chruker has a fairly complex one, I've noticed, but it returns 100% success rates for numerous combinations of items. |

Salvis, I finally got around to looking at the problem I was having. For the most part the program seems to be working fine. There are a few times when a BP will not update when using the efficiency calculator, but it normally corrects itself after selecting another BP or 2. There is still one that does not update at all though, for me. The culprit is my Station Warehouse BPO.
The other info I have for you is the two version numbers. EveMEEP-2.4.1.3, Efficiency Calculator-1.02. Other than this, I have yet to have a problem with this program. Thanks for all of the work that you have put into it. |

I don't use Meep much, but I use it to track my transactions and orders. It's a small thing, but if you could put comma's in the amounts, ie: 50000000 becomes 50,000,000...it would be much easier to read. I wouldn't even say anything, but this program has proven invaluable and I am really unwilling to switch to anything else.
Thanks. |

In the efficiency calcultor I'm trying to determine optimal ME values to research for my BPO's. But how do I get that value?
I mean in the optimal ME column it displays like 6 or 7 different optimal values. So how I do I determine the overall optimal ME???

Jarod Hawke: Each is the optimal ME level for that material. I use 'optimal' very loosely because of changes ccp made to waste a while ago.
Llero: done.
Kazuo Ishiguro: yes it is that formula and I trust him/it to be correct. Any issues with 100% are most likely my errors and I am looking into fixing them.
Dictum Factum: thanks for the specifics, I will check it out. |

Hi I'm having a problem, after putting in both my limited and my full API keys, I'm missing some of the orders that I have active.
For instance, out of 110 I can see 14 in one region only and none other, has it something to do with the "force download " option?
Please advice me if there is a solution.
BTW thanks for the tool, hoping to be using it soon.

I have a tiny request...well, maybe it ain't so tiny now thats I think of it...
A tab where you could calculate and compare profit isk per component unit of a batch or item, whether its minerals, salvage etc, and the average of all, would be a nice addition to the MEEP, for resource allocation and such :)
If I knew enough about programing I'd it but I really dun know squat :(

Great app, I loves it. But..
I'm about to research ME on the Covert Cynosural Feild Generator I BPO - but the efficiency calculator shows 0 waste for a ME of 1. Every other BPO selection seems to show the waste properly, including the Covert Jump Portal.
So.... I have to calculate it manually??? Noooooooooooooooooooo!

I just downloaded Evemeep and have to say I'm impressed with the abilities and functionality of the program. I'm also impressed that I managed to crash it in the first five minutes (it's a gift... really...) I've managed to reproduce the crash several times. In the schedule section after selecting location, when you select blueprint type it seems to take issue with the order you make your selections. If this has already been reported please disregard it, otherwise let me know and I'll get you detailed info on the crash and how to repeat it.
Aside from that, congrats on a great build-out. I look forward to making lots of iskies with it

It appears that the personal assets are only ever attempted to download once, upon adding a new profile. This is according to the log. The corp assets attempt download every cycle though.
Also of note is that the asset updated date is one day ahead of the actual date, none of the other update dates are that way.

I am a little confused as to what the problem is. Assets can only be successfully downloaded every 24 hrs due to the API caching. This means that after you create your profile, it gets the data, and then sets the cache timer to 24-ish hours later (24ish because of lag between API servers to avoid conflict).
Corp Assets, in your case, are attempted to download every hour because you do not have the rights to get the data. The API returns an error saying you dont have roles, and the cache timer is set to be 1 hr later. This is because right now meep does not know your corp roles, so instead it just keeps failing in case you ever get the roles. I am looking for a better method of doing this, but for now its only a little wasted bandwidth. ------

And why is the date of the assets one day ahead? None of the others behave this way. Or, is the date displayed on the screen the cache EXPIRATION date? Note that I have seen the assets not updating even days after initial setup (and asset download).
Cheers!

The Cache times are the Eve time of next update. To be sure that the assets have downloaded(wait till the next time it can), leave the program open at least 2 minutes, and check the messages in the bottom left corner (you can click to see a history). The app updates characters, journal, transaction, etc. waits for a minute, then updates industry and assets. If this still does not work, then its a bug I do not know about and would very much like to fix ------

Question:
Downloaded the program, get an error:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."
Can't do anything other than kill it on the spot. I've got a working internet connection. Running XP on a Mac using Parallels. It's the latest version from your site Any help with this problem? Your program sounds amazing and I'd really love to use it.

Make sure your copy of XP has .net 2.0 installed, and it should work after that.
Maya: Right now there is no way to tell the app to not update. The work-around is to open the file in the profiles folder for that profile, and you can manually change the cache times to something like a year from now. I am sorry that this is the only way to do it, and I will look into a more granular approach to controlling what API data the app gets. ------

Maya: I didnt mean it to come across that way either. Text is just bad for relaying certain things. Thank you so much for the bug report though, because now I know the cause of the problem. Every time API data needs to be pulled, a thread from the .net thread pool is assigned the task, and it goes out and gets the info, parses it, etc. In your case, the threads are trying to get the info but there is no response from the server, so they wait and wait and wait. While that is happening more threads are being created until there are no more (since none of them finish). I should be able to correct this with both selective API calls and adding better timeout control to the code.
P Stuyvesant: In order to get more than 1 run, your BPC needs to have max runs. you can type 9999 or something into the BPC attributes group box for runs and it will automatically set it to the max runs possible for that blueprint. ------

First of all, awesome program. I can tell a lot of work has gone into it. I use it on a daily basis with my industrial character, and I have no idea how I'd survive without it!
However, a quick question: Any update on the POS fuel tracking feature?
My corp just recently put up a POS and it'd be extremely useful! Thanks.

Looks like the proxy settings aren't working correctly. I've input my proxy info, and hit accept, then continue to get this in the logs:

Any work-around for this?
