SMASH Alliance	Posted - 2008.04.28 22:16:00 - [481] Thanks to a 'hint' from this topic, I noticed you get the 'Socket Closed' error even when you just type in an incorrect password. Not knowing there was a new mirror (my fault for not reading stickies) I was entering my old passwords (which I changed during the time this and the previous mirror were taken) and was thinking there was some entirely different problems involved when I got this error. No amount of restarting the client (as suggested in related threads) helped, but alas entering the new passwords on both my accounts worked fine.

Miss Moonwych	Posted - 2008.04.29 16:25:00 - [484] New patch is available but only works on 53162 version. Otherwise you get error: "We were unable to locate a patchfile for your build no. (53765)." So I copied my main eve install to a different folder, added the "/server:87.237.38.50" to startup to and patched it. Now logged on again :).

You need to make patch 1.1 and start again so recopy, and repatch.

When I try Singularity I get this message: "Could not connect to the specified address:error(10061, 'Connection refused')" And Status:unknow And when I try Multiplicity I get this one: "Incompatible (Release)" I tryed to download the latest Multiplicity patch from here but I get the "File not found" error. Any other links?

Copy your Singularity Shortcut and call it Multiplicity; then go into properties and add /server:Multiplicity at the end of the target line. Go into your programs/ccp folder... right-click drag the Eve Online Folder and select copy... Make new desktop-shortcut for your your "Copy of Eve Online" folder. Modify it in options like this: "E:\Programme\CCP\Kopie von EVE\eve.exe" /server:87.237.38.50 Correct patching should start once you log on your new test eve with the shortcut you just made.
