this thread would be much more worth reading if this smacking between legion of xdeathx(typed right? hope so, if not, no offense) and dmc would stop. its just like little children screaming "you started first" "no you" thats not true, you were" "no no no, liar! you began" ...

This is probably going to make some people mad but then again I don't really care.
I'm new to EVE but been playing MMO's for a long time now. My corp is a part of DME which is DMC's little brother.
The problem is that apparently DMC sees us as the ******** little brother that it never speaks of or to. Not sure what DME has done to embarass the "big brother" but the lack of information or communication from DMC/DME leadership has amazed me to no end. DME might have younger corps than DMC does but in a situation like this you would think that you could use all the help you can get. Instead all of our members that have tried to fleet up with DMC have been treated horribly and threatened with Friendly Fire just for making suggestions.
Don't waste your time with spies RA. There is absolutely no information to steal and there are not any plans / strategies either. I have never seen weaker leadership for a corp/guild/clan this size in any MMO I have ever played. From my lowly perspective being the "******** little brother" of DMC, the leadership of this alliance is getting what it deserves and the members are taking the beating for it. Then again, the membership is partially responsible for allowing DMC leaders to remain so no one is completely innocent.

You know as much as we do directly from leadership, however, there's more than enough information around to see the writing on the wall.
3-J is trashed, POS's in reinforced, new POS's planted. GK3 was being rolled last night. Connecting the dots, that leaves us about four more days until Sov 4 *****s in BQ0.
WW- probably won't amount to more than a sideshow compared to the gangbang coming down on the capital.
We're seriously hamgstrung trying to coordinate across the pockets because the frickin' jumpbridge between WW- and BQ0 won't stay online, no matter what the hell we do to it, so 99% of the defensive strategy that looks to have been cooked up for the pockets headed out the airlock at Mach 2.
Bottom line, RA's a bigger beast than we are capable of handling. They would never have bothered if Ka-tet were remotely competent on their own, but after the rout last week, we showed a little more ass than they expected. Hell, its not like we were completely clueless, we heard rumors that Ka-Tet was thinking about invading Oasa as far back as December, because we spent the weekend before New Years through New Years Day on heightened alert waiting for a possible attack. We were left with the impression that RA would stay out of it, so this whole Titan business is a frickin' staged excuse, imho. We didn't even have a Titan in the field when the first threat rumors surfaced.
DME didn't do anything to embarass us, there hasn't been a negative word uttered about you guys in any alliance chat I've seen. The fact is, the whole frickin' works is in a shambles, and DMC's leaders are probably too brainscrambled figuring out how the heck they're going to survive this to think about communications. It doesn't excuse it, so take this explanation from a DMC grunt for what its worth. At the moment, we're legendarily screwed, and there's not a hell of a lot any of us can do about it, even if we were disciplined to the point of lockstepping.

You just gave me more information than any of the DMC/DME leadership has.
Also, the lack of information hasn't just been since RA jumped in. I think we received 1 alliance mail when the Ka-Tet thing started which stated "war, go fight". I am not asking for a miracle, just for a little information on what is going on and what leadership is thinking of doing. A little reassurance that our leadership is doing anything other than running is not too much to ask for.

That our you came in with 180+ members in your gangs and we had about 90 and you still got pushed back out of our space
Even today we have a few small gang fights where we were out numbered as well as out sized us, and your gang and you still managed to run

When the war started ,it was only ka-tet. We came in with out fleet against you, atlas, and Chaos. So if you want to be proud that you won a battle with those odds in your favor, go for it. Pat yourself on the back.
Did you expect us not to call in friends when you had two other alliances on your side when the war started? was your leadership that naieve?
If you wanted a fair fight, you should have kept it 1v1, us and you. You didnt, you were the first to call in help, and now you whine and complain that we called in help. you did this to yourself.

This is bad news, Ra is moving on with the bob plan.
of taking over, and forcing everyone to pay them+ building them cap ships, so they can grow even stronger.
People learn from the past, its time to down Ra and take away some of there power. if those of you like to have 0,0 space for your alliance its time to change past, bob is reduced to delve, anyway.
you think Ra will let you have your space in peace after they have taken the drone region? look at the map, they taking more and more every week, braking naps, blackmailing there old freinds.
Soon the north will be forced to pay or fight. same with bruce.
the Ra plan is to move the goons back to fountain. and have that nice corner down in the S/E and N/E all under there controll with a huge cap fleet to defend it.

Just hearing about this now. Seems a large gang (no idea how many) of Smashkill/Atlas/CI Hit one of the Intrepid stations or poses while the irc fleet was away in DMC space. Is this a retaliation for the RA attack on a CI pos earlier today or is it the usual hunting trips you guys go on?
On a side-note. Are you not going to reinforce DMC or have you pretty much got a "stay out of it agreement with RA"? If you have i imagine that this attack on Intrepid will be followed by one on Ethereal Dawn to draw some of the heat off DMC. If so.....good plan.

I don't know whats worse: DMC was scared of 2 pilots, or IRC could only field 2 pilots.
