News update.
EOH has been particularly busy these past two weeks, which certainly does my heart good after our Ring issues, so thanks to everyone who has been by to check us out as well as our regular clientele. Speaking of Ring, progress on our new user site and backend is progressing quite well. We're looking at a new user site (and a shorter domain name, instead of eveonlineholdemdeargodmyfingersarenumb.com) and a simpler way to use your Ring account.
In addition, I'll hopefully have all of our newbie guides written and updated for the newness, so both new and old players can easily locate information about our services.
We also had our first table rental since an initial attempt at rentals last summer. Pricing is still up in the air, despite what the current prices listed on our T&C page say. So if anyone out there would like to rent a table for an evening for their corp or alliance, do contact me so that we can see what kind of pricing works for all involved.
Thanks again to everyone for your continued support, and I will hopefully have another news update by the end of next weekend. |

Looks like we might have Ring up sometime this weekend. It all depends on how much Twizzle and I can get our schedules to sync and how the final round of testing and cleaning up goes. Wish us luck =) |

Unfortunately Twizzle and I did not have the time today to get everything going again, so if Rings isn't back tomorrow, it will certainly be back within the next week. It's really just a matter of us having a couple hours to sit down and hash out final changes to the new system.

Well, lots of big news here today!
First of all, we've moved to a new channel that will hopefully be much easier to spell for newcomers: EOH Poker. We've also launched our new user site at http://user.eohpoker.com where you can create your new EOH accounts. Our IGB documentation is vastly expanded and improved, and Ring has been relaunched! We also now do not rake on deposit and cashout, but rake per hand.
So come on in and see a lot of new with the same Eve Online Hold'Em you've known for over a year =D

Relaunch is going great and thanks to my staff and our players for helping me through this rough first 24 hours with our new setup. We've had over 300 accounts recreated in the new system, and tens of billions already deposited into the system. We've even been processing cashouts already =D
Also good to see our Tournament-style games are still going along well, so we still have games for everyone. Stop on by and check us out!

All old accounts were purged, so you need to make a new account via http://user.eohpoker.com and all account balances were paid out a few weeks ago. If you think there was an issue with your account then evemail me and I can check things out.

After a long period of collecting isk by ratting / missioning i founded EOH Poker in the Forum. As a passion Poker Player i directly tryd it first only 10 mio isk send cause i was a bit afraid of scamming. And now i have already send some more iskis there to play. I must say: GREAT JOB EOH POKER TEAM
But plz plz plz give me better cards :-)
I am quite sure that it is not in ur Hands what cards everyone gets but .... welll i asked god for help as well...
Yesterday i lost 60 mio in the morning and won 300 mio in the evening and lost 240 in the night u see its a up and down and when u play with caution and u can afford to loose the money its great fun.
On this place i wanne thank u all the other Poker Player who keeps the game on a fun and friendly manier.
So thats my Opinion and there might be the one or other who says this game sux but well ..... nobody is perfect when u dont like the game dont play it.
Whith a lot of nice greetings to the EOH POKER TEAM and all other NICE POKER PLAYERS i have to say keep it up and continue like this.
Well downtime shouldt be over now and i have to go getting more isk for EOH POKER

PS: just one remark for the EOH POKER TEAM i think it wouldt be a great idea on the newbie Tabel to show each player what they have on the hand so they can make a better decission. This Tabel is calld Newbie Players so threat them as Newbies and give there a littel bit more knowledge to them.

I'm afraid this isn't possible, as not even us the admins can see nor change cards that couldn't normally be seen -- it's simply not possible given the way the software is written. So while we can't help newbies in this way, it also means that other players (or staff, or owners) can't cheat by seeing or changing cards. I dont want that the newbies how i called them before can see other cards i just wanted a small graphic on the side what shows only the player with his cards what he has i am not sure what site i have been to but i played poker for fun a a internetside and when i got 2 Aces on my hand there was a small graphic only for me who sayd you have a pair when then the flop comes and there is one ace and 2 Queens it says u got a ful house. But i am sure when someone realy wanne play poker there he will read the rules and the sorts of different combination.

Ahh I see what you mean. Yeah there's no way for us to do that. You could always ask the creator of Mavens to implement such an option that we could toggle on and off, but yeah, I don't think three's much demand for it. Thanks for the idea though =)

Just a notice to our players: I will be out of EVE contact for most of this week, and possibly a decent amount of next week. So if you have questions or need me to look into or fix something, it'll probably have to wait until this weekend.
